I swear you guys should get a sponsorship from HP if you're reviewing/using their products all the time like the Pavilion line of gaming desktop/laptops, their all in ones desktops, regular non gaming desktops, etc.
@Avery. only rich people say that
They really aren't bad prebuilt PCs. I bought the 9400f/1660ti version a few years ago and threw in a new 16GB RAM kit, Noctua NH L9x65 cooler, bigger SSD, and a 2060. Also (thanks to Hardware Sense) I modified the case to have a intake fan on the side. It was such a good PC for its size.
Why make such a small gpu upgrade?
@@xTurtleOW if it was a 3060 it would make sense but a 2060 is a jump so small that its not even worth it
@@xTurtleOW he bought the 1660 ti version not 3060 he said that right there
I added a 2060 super and more ram too
The RGB that you can add is probably RAM, GPU, keyboard, mouse, mouse pad etc not fans or strips. They can be controlled via a rgb controller program and they're referring to that
I’ve always been a console gamer wanted a cheap pc one day just for fun and this one has convinced me and small upgrades I can do to help thanks guys ❤️
do you recommend it . im also a c gamer
Same this will be my first ever PC pretty much 😃
Sell you console, buy optiplex for 100, buy 1650s for 100. You’ll be playing games easy
I just ended up ordering this, waiting for it to arrive. I chose it because everyone's saying its good, and I'm honestly surprised at the price compared to specs people can get. Before I had a computer that couldn't run Minecraft at more then around 20-40 FPS, so this is a pretty big jump for me. But, I had to get it because my old one was held together by dust and stopped working after we tried to clean it.
hope you got a second stick of ram
I was looking into this, and now you made a video on it 😂 I’m gonna enjoy this
had mine for two years upgraded to 16 gaming ram 550 ssd and 1 tb external Hard drive Love this thing
I just bought the same exact computer and I love it!! It plays Cyberpunk on High settings flawlessly with 16gb dual channel! Thinking about buying a motherboard & an psu then do a case swap
Could you send me a link of where you bought the dual channel 16gb from?
I work for a PC business, and this is easily the best selling prebuilts that we currently sell. Although Optiplexs are a close second.
so would you recommend buying this pc if your looking to just play simple games? For example simple games such as Roblox.

Nice Video, I'm gonna share this with others!! 🤠
One hour later and all three options have raised their prices to a more representative price based on the components.
No they've just sold out and those are third-party sellers. I'm convinced that a lot of these companies snatch up these cheap deals like this and slap $100 profit on top. I constantly see the same names of companies that will have what you're looking for but $100 more right after these kinds of videos.
Im almost 3 mins in and already excited for the rest. I have bought many of the refurbished 1650 super models and this is a hell of an improvement

I remember I was going to purchase this one from my local Micro Center, they advised me not to buy it as they had a lot of people returning them due to the PSU not having enough wattage to power the 3060 fully, so they told me it would undervolt and I wouldn't get full usage out of the 3060.

Woah, I never new dual channel RAM made that much difference!
Hey there guys. I found a drop-in tower cooler (Dynatron K17 CPU Cooler Fan) that works great on these. HP uses an 1151 CPU fan layout for the AMD models (and I'm guessing the Intel models). I tried several non-tower coolers, but they were no better than the factory cooler. I bought the 5600G / RX 5500 base model (now less than $400 at VIPOutlet) and upgraded the processor to a 5700g, HP RTX 3060, 64gb 3200 ram (1.2v 3200 so that it works without xmp), and the compatible tower cooler. Not only does it run much cooler, but you can use Ryzenmaster to overclock it all core 4600 without thermal issues. There is actually lot folks can do with these units if they know how. With them being so inexpensive now, they can be turned into great little gaming rigs. It would have been cheaper to build something from eBay probably, so I'm not saying this was financially smart, just fun, and you don't have to do it all at once.
Cheers
Rick

As a company that sells custom machines, how do you manage to compete with pre-builds when they’re offering such good price to performance? Seems like it would cost at least $700-800 just to build a similar system, never mind trying to make a profit on it.
hi it seems like you know your stuff. I wanted to ask if i should i get this instead of a PS5. I've always wanted a PC but i don't know wether i should buy this because its similar price and its going to last me longer.
It kind of depends what you want. Most custom PCs have RGB which usually increases price too. Also the parts of this system are proprietary and that PSU can't really do much if you plan to upgrade the GPU.Even if a custom build would be more expensive it's still a better choice
@@danay7120 You buy a PC for the open-end system configuration and customization.
