@@user-wp8cj2fe8e thanks! I appreciate the support!
Cuando entro en el link hace mención que es para Intel! Es compatible con AMD?
If that pc side panel can be change with transparent one it would look sick
That would be cool!
Awesome!
Deff gonna get this eventually
Definitely worth it!
Cool Stuff ! I got my HP Victus on PED’s too ❤❤❤ going to do the RAM this weekend
Nice! Make sure you get the A tech Ram that's 3200AA so you maintain the 3200mhz speed! Great purchase and let me know of you have any questions!
if u need 500w psu get L77487-001 bro its the same has 350w just more power its 500w and bolts right in not much info out there got one currently in my victus and it was base model with r5 and 6400
got mine off ebay and there cheap right now 85 bucks and ther 80 plus plat which mean there really eff
Bought it,thanx for the video
Nice! Hit me up if you have any questions!
It gets over 100f,I ordered better thermal paste to try and see if that helps. I don’t see this thing doing 2500 rpm and hardly feel any air movement from it,case fan blows better than this atm.
Whhaaaat? Oh no! I'm sure you did but did you remove the plastic off the bottom of the cooler before installing?
Yeah it was removed, I don’t think I’m getting the rpm it’s rated for. Removed it to double check I removed that plastic, thermal paste had good coverage too.
@tantilus998 and it is making good even contact on the cpu?
Gonna get one after seeing this. ❤
It's definitely a good purchase!
L77487-001 is psu u need 500w bigger gpu 80 bux
got one in my victus
sweet!
Love you
Would the Noctua NH-U9S work for the motherboards cooler mounts? Also, do the intake and exhaust fan CFM need to match or be greater than the coolers CFM?
I bought a victus. Then when I went to upgrade the memory I found out that the bios is locked and so it is set at 2133mhz and can't be changed.
What’s a good cooler I could use for the victus as I can’t get access to this one because I’m in the uk
Do you got a link that still works for this cooler? Many thanks
Hola Hola, podrías ver si hay una carcasa de PC compatible para el Victus 15L
Link doesn’t work….can you repost it?

Is it possible to take everything out of the pc and put it in another case just replacing the power supply
The motherboard is proprietary, along with the power supply and cpu cooler. You can get a cheap AM4 motherboard for about $80, power supply for $60, and just get a cheap wraith stealth cooler for the cpu and the case of your choice to finish the build.
Hey so i bought this, was wondering how did you manage to get the RGB to work i dont see where to plug it in on the Victus
What rgb components are you trying to use?
@@bradfordskeldorado Nvrmind lol, there was a second cable with this fan and i assumed it was for the RGB lighting but once i booted the pc i saw the lights came on automatically. Thank you for responding so quickly. Been hard at work trying to find ways to upgrade this pc
@Diskdrive000 all good! I have an additional video on swapping cases so be sure to check that one out too! Have a great day!
Hello I also have a HP victus PC and I have a Ryzen 7 5700g and I want to upgrade to the 5800x3d. For that I also have to upgrade my CPU cooler. What do you recommend?
What power supply and gpu did yours come with? Looks like there's not much of a difference between the 5700G and the 5800X3D when it comes to power requirements but I haven't made this change so I wouldn't be able to assure you that it would work.
Can you change the case of the HP victus 15l
So if you want to change the case, the only thing you can really swap is the cpu, gpu, nvme ssd, and ram. The motherboard, power supply, cpu cooler and case fans are pretty specific to this pc. So if you wanted to change the case, motherboard, cpu cooler , and power supply, then that would be about $300-$350 to make that happen.
How do you change the led from the pc
It's the omen software that comes pre installed on the pc. Just search omen and there is an LED lighting tab that allows you to change it!
did this brad and must of messed up i got no display cpu temp were at 80c so bought this now it powers on leds and all no display any idea wat i might have done wrong
Did you use the same cpu cooler? Your cpu temp should display on your task manager regardless of the cooler you have.
update must of been alil to tight temps are down cooler is rgb and dope first pc i ever upgraded if u need psu dont buy L5 something 800 get the L77487-001 same size and bolt pattern has 350w that comes in and its 500w 80 plus plat works way better looks way better everything is working
@@bradfordskeldorado yeah man must of tightned to tight could get display called my pc guy told him i had no pic but before i took it over i loosened the top just a tad and tightned a tad on bottom left took to pc guys and it booted right up looked at me all crazy lol
but all is good just so u no brad i found a psu the is the same size and bolt pattern has the 350w that comes in it i no u case swapped ur but for future people that ask u tell them to get L77487-001 same size and bolt pattern currently in my victus and its 85 bucks of ebay 80 plus plat but love the vid help me alot im tech savvy but no pro and a console gamer switch to pc my victus has that 500w with a 4060 veetroo lp shadow gskill ram but i think its hindered by bios push 155 fps in the finals
psu is 80 plus plat too man trust me works like a dream my guy
To remove old CPU did you pull it straight out or twist it?
For the cpu, you just loft the retaining arm and pull it out. To remove the cooler. You just undo the hardware, unplug the fan and then just gently lift up the cooler. Sometime, the thermal paste can be dried and cause the cooler to stick, and I have twisted them slightly to get them to break free.
@@bradfordskeldorado My new cpu fan came with two cables. I know where the cpu fan cable goes but I can’t find a slot for the 5v add header cable on the motherboard
Do you think the amd stock coolers for the 5600 would fit this motherboard as I have another pc with said stock cooler I was looking to upgrade and thought about putting the stock cooler in the victus
@deltasemple383 is it the wraith cooler? If so it won't work due to the mounting hardware placement on the motherboard. The victus has a square pattern vs most amd coolers that have a rectangular pattern
@@bradfordskeldoradoI kept the stock cooler on but put the larger wraith fan on and swapped the smaller fan from the cooler, although to my surprise the smaller fan was actually more powerful and kept it cooler so I switched it back to stock
Hey man, just bought a HP Victus i5-12/8/512/3050. Will only be used for cs2 u think its all good
Yes sir. I did a full vid reviewing this pc and cs:go was one of the games I tested. CS2 isn't much different in performance.
Mine contains the 5600g, can I upgrade the cpu?
You can. What gpu is in yours?
@@bradfordskeldorado the rx6400
@groove269 so you can upgrade the cpu. Are you planning on changing the gpu too?
It says its only for intel does that matter or am i lokking at the wrong one
The reason is because of the mounting pattern. The amd cpus normally have a rectangular plate but since this hp motherboard is proprietary, they use a simple square pattern that lines up with the intel coolers. The only issue is, not all intel coolers work. It has to be one that secures from the top
@@bradfordskeldorado so it'll work then
@mariomontana74 yes. This one will work on the factory motherboard with an amd cpu
How do u open the pc
There is a small screw on the back side of the side panel that has a star bit or a flat head that you unscrew. And then just slide the panel off.
i installed it and it’s over heating worst
Ensure the plastic film on the bottom is removed and make sure the heat sink is mounted even across the back of the cpu itself.
What screw driver
@kuntech101 to remove the cooler? I believe it's a t30 or a flat head will work
It’s kinda junk tho
It gets the job done though. People ask for things that work that they can add to their budget pc and I am willing to buy 4 different parts to find one that works. I'm just a dude trying to help others when they are trying to save money. I hope you have a good day man.
@@bradfordskeldorado noctua makes a great alternative to this for only like $50
Yeah noctua does have great products but this motherboard has threaded holes for the cooler to mount. The other coolers I bought all looked like the mounts would line up but needed a back plate that wouldn't work with this.
@@bradfordskeldorado nah I have one and it comes with the 2 piece brackets that lines up
I see. I just needed one with the hardware on top so I could screw it in from the front of the motherboard. I looked and tried to find a few that were compatible but I'm sure the noctua would be better for temps and that silent fan operation that noctua is known for. Do you have a model so I can possibly check one of those out too?
