Yeah, the old reputation of AMD (which to some degree still holds a little true) is just not great with older consumers. It’s really only in recent memory that AMD has really stepped it up at least in the CPU market

Yeah that's what we did during the athlon 64 era and then intel came with the core 2 line up and we switched back to intel again. Now it's amd again, but intel will probably come back with something good and we will switch again.

I've only ever had AMD in my own personal builds due to the cost, but both of my gaming laptops had Intel and they worked very well. Really just depends on the budget I think.
The hassle you have to go through for memory compatibility and stability with AMD is so fucked up, first time tried ryzen 9 7950x with rog strix x670E -A and god damn the Amount of BSOD , slow boot time , black screen when restarting was so frustrating later RMA and went with i914900k and pro msi z 790 wifi max motherboard and boom works with a charm. Never going with AMD ever again.☹️☹️

I like intel, i started with an i3 12100f, and this gave me tons of room to upgrade so thats why, i upgraded to 12600k, and later i will upgrade to the 13700k if needed
I like both and mainly use AMD but I like Intel because there’s a lot less fickle issues. I’ve built many Intel systems and they often have less platform/ram related issues compared to Ryzen systems. Intel has had QC issues recently but in general I’ve had less issues
I used to love amd. But the problems that it brings back in 2010 are so not worth the cheaper price. The intel i3-i7 are so much better in consistency and works smoothly with most graphics cards and motherboards

I am an engineer. I use Intel for my work laptop, as it does the better job, with integrated grafhics. But I got AMD at my home CPU, DDR5, 4080, NVMe PCIeGen4. I play Genshin, COD, Halo, RE: Village, POP: Warrior Within.
