  • Thanks for dropping by the StormRider channel. In this video I talk about the fact I am starting to train for triathlon, a completely new thing for me. I talk about how I prioritise investing in kit including Gaerne Carbon G.Stilo road bike shoes, bib shorts from OSTROY, and my ASICS Gel KAYANO 27. I explain what products I personally get most return for investment, and how I save money in others such as my second hand BMC SLR02 Team Machine road bike. And front and centre I explain that my watch of choice for this training is the G-Shock GW-9400 Rangeman - I wear the ne have with a carbon band.
I hope you find this interesting. I am a beginner so its just personal experience and philosophy, not advice.
For more G-Shock reviews and thoughts, please see some of my other videos here: G-Shock GW-9400 RANGEMAN • G-Shock GW-9400 RANGEMAN

StormRider is about beings strong, resilient, positive, fit and prepared.
I am passionate about adventure and testing myself - some of my favourite ways to maintain physical strength are kettlebells and carrying heavy stuff long distances, i.e. ‘rucking’ and cycling on Zwift and my Wahoo Kickr. I am also training for triathlon. I use products that can put up with harsh environments such as G-Shock watches. I enjoy talking about this variety of topics.
If any of this is of interest to you please subscribe and let me know if you enjoy similar activities in the comments. Cheers...

You are looking to get GBD H1000, while I am mulling getting GWR B1000... cool kit you got. Glad you’re enjoying it.

Love that Italian bike kit. Looks great quality. The G-Shock rangeman seems to be your go-to choice right now.

Indeed the Rangeman is on my wrist a lot. When I'm swimming it's generally the Mudman G-9300 though. Cheers!

Thanks man, appreciate the feedback. I have an older Forerunner 235, it definitely does the job when I want to track distance or intervals on a run. I do like it, but can't wait to test the G-Shock with GPS and Tough Solar so I don't have to think about charging so much. Cheers!
