I explain why this model is so special to me personally and take you on a 22 chapter story from the start to the future. Let’s take a look at the new Earth Tone colours while we are at it, in my opinion they are just getting cooler and cooler.

Fell for a classic sellers trick in Bangkok, they hire people to stand behind you and act interested in the same product, and they always say stiff like "just arrived, there's only one, not sure when we may get more"

I have the blue and earth grey version. I have worn it more than any other watch I own. It has been a fun surprise. Love the light weight, low profile, and interesting dial.

I’m hunting them down as well. I have the red, grey, blue & all black. I know the feeling when you first saw the black (2100) when I first saw it I absolutely loved it. Found it in a department store “Macy’s” here in the states. It has survived the pandemic behind glass in the back of a case under some escalators. I couldn’t believe it. Bravo 👏🏼 these look good

I like the grey one alot, but I just love the look of the GA2100 virtual blue. I found one on the Kay Jewelers website a few days ago and ordered for MSRP of $99. I was looking to order it on the g-shock website, but it disappeared all of a sudden. The blue hands pop on the black dial and the lume on the hands is surprisingly good. I don't mind the negative display because the hands are so vibrant.

My mate got the green one and I instantly wanted one. Got my eye on the yellow one and will most likely be my next purchase. Just still wearing my 5610 all time, so can't justify I new watch yet. But the itch is getting stronger.

Great video! I have one GA 2110 Yellow, brand new, perfect conditions, really beatiful, absolutely a piece of art. I choose him to use in a small family trip. So, I use the watch for the first time. Nothing happened. Everything absolutely fine and normal. Unfortunatly, maybe on the fouth day of use, it starts to discolorate! There is discoloration in several spots, on the straps AND the case around the buttons! Until now there is no explanation for this fenomenon. I have dozens of g shocks, since 1980, and nothing like this has ever happenned! I´m very disappointed, but still like the watch. Thank you!
Strange, I have never heard of this. I would be taking it to a CASIO store for their review to see what the issue is. It is indeed a great watch. Love my yellow one.

@@stormrider1119 Yeah. You will love it. My usage on green 50%,black 40%,transparent 10%. Used to be 90% black,10% transparent. Tbh, metal green looks so nice that others is not worth looking at all. Transparent dont work on all casual wear. Black blends all the time. Green can work out like black did since i mostly wear black or white shirt.

Addiction! I guess we all know how deep the Casio/G-Shock rabbit hole is, have multiples of several models myself, and annoys my wife so much. But I kind of hold back on negative display ones. Now with the GA-B 2100 is out, I reckon I'll have a red ear in a few days.

I own a number of mid to moderate priced watches, but my Casio gets the most time on wrist. It just works and can take a beating. I would feel bad to bin a Tag or Omega, but the Casio takes it and asked for more.

Hi Ian, yes they are quite 'one more ish'. You must be one of the first people to get the mini version, I wouldn't be able to resist either if the opportunity arose, it's an interesting development in the GA line. And I'm sure one of us will end up with the skeleton too lol. Cheers!

Unfortunately Canadian site does not stock the green/black colorway which I also like.

For the screen u can get Tempered glass to protect it. Futhermore these can be modify to become a metal bezel like gm-2100.

I have started to put smartwatch screen protectors on my g shocks. I hate crystal scratches. The protectors are tempered glass and who cares if they get scratches, just remove it and replace with another! I think the 32mm size fit perfectly for the GA2100
A few people have mentioned this. I have never seen or tried them but as long as it's not noticeable when it's applied on the screen I'd definitely consider it. The small chip on my blackout GA-2100 is a pain.
@@stormrider1119 Yes, give it a try. Aliexpress. The 32mm fits perfectly on the 2100. I have the triple black and the camo bezel. I used to avoid non sapphire watches as I hate a crystal scratch, feel like the watch is ruined. LOL. I even put one on my Marathon JSAR just for extra protection. Why not? Can't hurt. The Marathon, the protector sits above the plane. But on the GA2100, the crystal is below the bezel and the protector fits in nicely and is not raised. They're only like $1 or $2 each if I remember. If you don't like it, take it off. I had a Luminox that I loved, orange indices on black dial. The third day of ownership my keys put a deep scratch from the 3 to the 12. I was so angry, never wore it again and sold it on Ebay. I would buy a Luminox again as I like them, and used the protector.. Order a couple, give it a shot, and be the first person to review the idea. Why not? Nobody else has done it.

The tripple black just came back in stock on the UK G-Shock website! I was just looking through and saw them out of stock the other day, went and checked again and they had them! Also the grey which was out of stock is back in :)

The fact that Tough Solars are out now really says about excellence. Now, if only they could just listen to some of our suggestions and criticisms. They would easily rule the sub >$500 watch market.
I have a G being worn 15 years and 5 months per year in sea water, still going strong after one battery change and twice strap change. I don't know how you can damage your carbon core G.

@@Yanimalyan no, the battery change wasn't made after 15 years. About after 8 or 9, the watch I have for 15 years, soon will probably need again.

Great video ! What are your thoughts on the 2100 VB ?
Hey have you had any problems with the subdial on any of your 2100 modules?? My subdial becomes unaligned every week. However on my 2110 line watches they have never had any issue whatsoever but yet all my 2100 line watches have issues with the subdials
Do you mean the week day dial? Or the digital cluster?
If you can buy that many, try the GBD-200. Got one in black. I generally ignore the fitness stuff, sometimes look at the step counter. Installed the app to sync the time, then put it in airplane mode. After messing around with it, and feeling the vibration motor, I might just take it off airplane mode and turn on vibration for alerts. Only a few days in, but loving it. The display is 🔥. Love the overall look of it. Instantly makes everything else look outdated.

Awesome, how does the fit compare to the 9400 or ggb100 mudmaster, and size
Good question. I'd say very different for three main reasons: 1. The strap us much more lightweight 2. The watch itself is incredibly light, you don't really notice it on your wrist. 3. The depth of the watch is very shallow, I believe it's the thinnest G-Shock out there so it really is very incongruous. That's why I like wearing it with a suit as it fits under shirt cuffs so well. Totally different to the GG-B100 and Rangeman 9400. I think it's worth trying one one is a store and you will see it's a much more refined piece.

@@billscully2521 indeed it does. Fits much flusher to the wrist. Imagine you have a shirt on, with the GW you would feel the bezel pushing from underneath but with the GA-2100 or 2110 that does not happen. You can't tell it's on your wrist it's so light and slim. And it's smaller in every dimension plus a narrower strap. Totally different feel.

Hi Nick. I find there is always at least one shop in any city that has a good selection of G’s. Where are you based? I’m lucky that I travel fairly often so get to explore many places for good shops. I also find the G-Shock website itself has great deals from time to time. Cheers

Thanks man, the collection is growing and I'm trying to be very selective and only buying what I'm really into. My wrist is 8.5inch/ 21.6 cm as of today but honestly that can change dramatically if I'm doing kettlebells (growth) vs cycling (reduction) :)

Well both are carbon core, similar functions, both analog digital hybrid and both great watches. I think essentially between those two it's down to which one you prefer visually. For me the GA-2100 is nicer but I do like both. Hope that helps!

Just got hold of one. Love it! Like having a slim g and with solar. I have mudmasters, and everything in between, even a frogman but I do like to have a slim light one when I am fed up of wearing a huge heavy watch. So glad they did a solar one as that was the only reason why I didn’t get this watch.

Now, at 7:35, you just said when you workout, your wrists gets quite a lot bigger. This is interesting to me. All the other watch channels that I've been watching for years, always have these dudes complaining "oh that's a wall clock", "we need a 38mm". "42mm is huge". All these dudes must have tiny wrists. I've commented and told them to go to the gym and get bigger wrists and it won't be a problem. You know, like man up already. Some have replied that working out won't make their wrists bigger. LOL. Yeah I guess pole dancing class just won't do it. But you sir, have backed up what I believed to be true all along! Thank you !
Very interesting point man. Oh 100%, for me at least. I would guess I can have a 1cm circumference difference based on my physical activity, maybe more. I've made the first part of a video to demonstrate that and now need to do a week of intense/ heavy kettlebell work to show the growth. Watch this space.
Lifting weights doesn’t increase wrist size. At least not the most common exercises. It would have to be exercises focused specifically on the wrist, and even then, the gains would be minimal. Its like trying to increase your ankle size - not gonna happen. If anything, doing the opposite (getting fat) would increase wrist size more.

Not only have I seen it, I own one :) a the limited edition Bhutan, it's a pretty bold design - there is a video on my channel of it. The more neutral colours are more to my liking ultimately. In terms of the watch it's a great piece of kit although it doesn't shout out to be a personal favorite. I'm glad I have one but doubt I'll get more.

These aren't the new mini version. They are all the standard size. I'm thinking about getting the mini for my wife and will do a review soon. Cheers!

@@stormrider1119 thank you very much! yes i saw it in the store. normally g shocks are always quite big and I really liked this model. Also because it's all black. and when I got home I found out that those hands are glow in the dark. that's a really cool option
