- I go over the basics of this popular Casio G-Shock line. Their affordability means collectors usually don't just have one ;) . Casio keeps coming out with new colorways and variants. It's a great do-everything watch that looks good and is comfortable to wear.

I said the model name of the Gray one wrong in video. It's GA-2110 not 2100 ! It's correct on screen though
that transparent one actually looks pretty sick. I want the stealthy all black one, or maybe the white with black dial. damm I want all 3.
The transparent resin might change color after sometime because of oxidation

Have had the new white with black dial on wrist the past week. Amazing piece.
Very nice review. I have the dark blue with the light grey outside bezel and negative display, and the all grey one with the normal display. I found the accuracy to be about +5 seconds per month or sometimes a bit better. Excellent light weight easy to wear. My sister bought the one that is nearly pink in colour. Obviously the pink watch would be a lady's watch.
Got the white one but I modified the strap holder and the buckle hardware to be black (the strap itself I kept white). Looks sick now, very panda like.

I gave away the white one, sold the all black one, and modded the transparent one to a rose gold colored case and bracelet. I picked up the dark blue solar one which I just did a video on 😁

Which do you like better in terms of the dial? The all black or the transparent? Planning on changing out the strap for a SS bracelet
Very little difference between those two dials. One has accents in white and the other gray. Everything else the same
@@watchify1775 I see so you think the price difference is not justified just in terms of the dials? Neither looks better or more clean you are saying? Again not really focusing at all on the strap differences.

I have the black version solar power and the clear version myself.. I also liked the futur special edition, but i didn't end up keeping it. My biggest complaint with the blacked out 2100 is that they kept silver buttons. You're better off with a silver metal buckle with the silver buttons and screws.. at least there is some color consistency then. on the solar power the buckle is black but now that makes the silver button stand out even more. I was interested in swapping my clear case for the white one as it's starting to yellow. The watch looked amazing , the best one when it was new and clear but as it gets tinges of yellow hue it doesn't look as good. Also long arm hair doesn't look great on that clear watch. White looks cool but stands out a bit.. so now im thinking of that beige color case. just have to find it first.. or maybe i could dye the plastic one.. Sorry for the long comment. What are you going to do when your clear jellyoak gets more yellow in time?
I sold my clear one. Yeah, I barely wore it and it was getting yellow.

Could u tell which is better among SkE or 7a white ? For men . I dont mind color. Is white look same size as SKE
To be honest I later determined that the white one wasn't for me. Looks cool in online photos though. Of the two, I prefer the translucent one but it is bound to yellow over time.
@@watchify1775 the yellowing is real then huh, probably gonna take off the bezel and strap that came with this watch and swap it with another aftermarket ske bezel strap from alliexpress

I think you are talking about the GMAS2100-7A. It's a smaller case size and technically marketed as a women's watch. I prefer this black dial GA2100-7A for the contrast

No. Case design makes it wear smaller than a 45mm case size watch. Wear-ability factor is combo of case size, lug to lug distance, and thickness.
Ever since the Japan Tsunami, Casio opened up a factory in Thailand.
Anything made there or cased there is a flop. Hence the name, G FOG. My G shocks all fog up. No warranty can repair them. They keep refunding my money and I try different models. They all fog up. If it rains it fogs up, when you shower in cold water or warm or hot water it fogs up. Cold days, it fogs up. Hot days, it fuckn fogs up.
My experience differs. A GW-5610U, made it Thailand. The perfect G-Shock, never fogs up.

Nice that they now have solar movement and bluetooth. So far I haven't felt the urge to sell my original models but that may change if they come out with a colorway I really like.
Will the transparent version turn yellow ?
Everyone says yes and I think that is why some avoid transparent resin watches. It could be that exposure to ultraviolet light is involved.

case size on these watches is 45mm.

No I don't think so. I already have too many watches. I have other Casio models that have solar and bluetooth. If I were to get one it would have been the yellow one though
The buckle on my stealth black is stamped “Casio Japan” if that matters.

for regular weekend Fri-Sat-Sun wear, would you recommend this one or the transparent one?? I get the transparent gets yellow but this could definitely get dirty and yellow as well...! 😪😪
I can't recommend the transparent model. I don't wear mine much at all yet it seems to start yellowing already.
I thought all grey with the slightly darker grey bezel was a 2110, I have one 👍🤥

I gave my watch to someone I know that wears it several times a week. No, has not turned yellow yet. Transparent Casioaks are ones that turn yellow.

Which would you say has the most legible analog hands?
The transparent GA2100SKE-7A and the white GA2100-7A. Looks to be the same dial and hands. The gray one is worst of the 4
