Looks like something you missed was the actual carbon core. On the fake it seems there is none. its just a solid plastic case where on the original you can see the separation of the carbon core and the plastic bezel @3:35 lower left of the watch back.
There's a white ga2100 (among others around the same price) for 67$ shipped. It says it ships from China. Is this an obvious sign that it's probably not real? Or do some of these ga2100 colors sell for this low?
Interesting that you've posted this video - these GA-2100's are all over the used online ad's at all sorts of pricepoints in my area and I was thinking where are all these watches coming from since they are so hard to get new? Gotta be fakes and here is confirmation they probably are. EDIT: Just for fun I went and looked at one of the ads and it looks EXACTLY like what you have in your video - 3 line LCD, letters in the bezel to close to the crystal, etc. I asked for a photo of the rear case and it was exactly like yours right down to the serial number. Told the guy it's fake and he says he knows, he just has it listed in case someone else might want it. Yet his ad didn't say it was fake and he's asking $250.- What a crook. I should have asked him if it was authentic first.
There was a guy selling one that was also a fake on EBay. I messaged him and he never said anything but he had it posted for $300 and I’m pretty sure someone bought it. Sadly whoever bought it sends it right back.
The original watch has quick release band and resin material (not common rubber). The quality way better than the fake one. Btw my first gshock was ga2100 ✌🏻

Man you dont know that now replica of ga 2100 is made with so much accuracy that you can not find a single difference i bought one for 35 dollars and all features work like charm just like the original. It's minutes and hour hand also have the feature to go anticlock wise to adjust the time.
I have a clone and a few real g shocks. There are different levels of clones, i can't tell the difference comparing them even in hand, that's how good a 2022 model is, i suppose if it were opened up there may be some differences, but what i'm told is, the good ones are made with the same parts....they all come out of thailand, wherever, so essentially its just a difference in whether your receipt is from a high street store or somewhere else, but essentially some clones are just the same, may be a few differences, if it were opened up, if in the gym, or even a night out i'm not wearing my shop bought watches, they're in their display boxes, i'm sticking the clones on, that goes across the board

You are welcome. One the main reasons I did this video was...a friend paid full price for a fake watch...it was just so popular and everyone wanted one. Infact, I have seen another fake variant with some improvements,but the case back is still the bloated one.
Buying a fake G shock just completely defeats the purpose of buying a G shock... I had a genuine GA-2100-1A1ER but sold it before the price jump, kinda miss it...

Daaamn, nice catch, i have been using my 2100 for a week now and havent noticed that, another tell is the screws it appears in the fake are smaller.
Make a comparison with G-9300, if possible please. Or maybe a review?

For GA-2100, there is no difference between the two. Packaging slightly different for Japan Domestic Model.

ER = European market
DR = Asia/Other regions
The watches are all made the same way in Thailand. No difference

On the red one, the buckle is plastic and I knew that but the buckle only says Thailand and not casio above. Everything else looks ok.
