2011 E90 don’t have led from the factory only the e92, but I just put led headlights and lux led angle eyes on my 2011

i got a coupe 335 09
The only way I kept my AE from blowing was to leave the covers off due to heat. 2months and no problems as of yet... May look into these though, Keep us posted on how they last.

So I just installed a set of lux bulbs. And they have 4 leds. Per side. I see you have 2 per side. I feel like 2 makes more sense, I feel like my inner halo is alot brighter than my outer one. However it's not the identical on the other headlight. My question is this. I noticed you didn't have the black plastic thing with the lens from the factory bulb. Did you have better luck without them in place? Or do you think it's blocking light in my situation? Should I remove them? Or seems like 4 leds interfere with centering the light output energy to the proper area. What do you think?

I have the same headlight issue on the right side. If my wiring is messed up and the ballast is fried, can I buy these lights and will it work?
Was actually really interested in doing this for my E90 too. Though is it possible to change the projector bulbs? My current ones are extremely yellow (even though it's 2011 kit, 2010 build date) so I'm not sure what's up with that.

Have had these on mine for a while now, Only thing i would say is annoying with them is that you cannot set a default colour for when it restarts... so when you turn the car off for long enough it will just start flashing on start-up instead of displaying a solid colour.. So every time you get in the car you need to open the app to set the colour

@@78jonybravo no worries bud. does get on my nerves sometimes tbh, but has just become second nature now switch car on set light colour 😂 forgot once and left them flashing and got pulled over got £100 fine

To make them white you have to give up some brightness and to be honest they don't stand out very much in white mode. I'd look elsewhere if you want bright white.
Definitely "not" getting these asap and "not" setting them to strobe blue and red to mess the crap out of people on the highway LOL

pretty cool but the best and most dependable i've found with less work placing them right in the top compartment are the lux h8 180 for my e92 2008 335i.

@@heey973 Try searching under welcome lights because those needs to be turned on when welcome lights are on. Also the Light Switch inside the car needs to be set Automatic so this can work

You communicate via wifi, overall they seem to be decent. They're still working well.

No lens, they are pretty bright but the video probably makes them look brighter than they actually are.

Vehicular DIY What part of houston... Would love for you to scan my 07 335i that I just purchased. I have a weird error when I push rpm past 3000rpm goes into limp mode and when I shut off car and restart it limp mode is gone and drives normal until I pass the 3000 rpm again

Why did you even buy them if your didn’t want the colors?? You could have just got nice white cool blue lci type bulbs.. makes no sense
if you think its "cheesy" why tf you buy the color changing one's. The bright white LED's are only $20 and i installed them in my bmw 325i and it looks great, it actually looks just like the setting you want them on. sidd we can switch, ill take the cheese off yor hands.
