  • Hey Techies!
I got my hands on an Alienware M17 R3 for review! A client of mine allowed me to use it for the channel! Same great quality as the M15 with a bigger screen and a num pad!
This one had an Intel i7 10750H 16 GB of DDR4 Ram and a GTX 2060. All in all its a great machine for gaming on the go!

Hi.... I have a Alienware m17 R3, Is there any indication (led in the alien head like 15 R4) to show that the battery is charging or is completely charged when the system is shutdown?? Regards

Happy Holidays! I hope this finds you in the very best of health & happiness! At 55 yrs old, getting my first gaming machine. Torn between Alienware M17 R3 I7/2070/$1,800 or Asus Zephyrus S17 GX701 I7/2060/70/ $2100-2350. Not worried about price, just want a cooler running laptop that'll last 3-5 yrs. Will only be playing Resident Evil, The Outlast & Far Cry type games. Is Gsync needed for slower games? (both machines I ordered above have it) Which laptop would you choose? Thank you in advance!! Subbed.. because you're real & not fake like other YT Tech channels! Take care & stay safe!!

If I’m being honest I have never personally owned an ASUS so I’m not able to give a personal comparison. That being said the thing that I absolutely love about Dell is the Support I get. It’s the same support they give to Enterprise customers. Over the years I have had a few issues with them and they send out a technician to my house for no fee if something is wrong. I am unaware of any other gaming laptop manufacturer that has such widespread support.

I just bought a Dell g7 7700 and part of me feels like I should’ve bought this. I’m not much of a gamer, I just wanted a powerful laptop for work software. Do you think I made a mistake and should just buy this in a refurbished version for the same price?

THey are both good machines. I do like the AW's but recently purchased a Razer just to see. I like the Razer for productivity with a 1660 Ti but for gaming the AW is definitely better.

My much lower priced Dell Inspiron 15 has a numeric keypad. It's weird that the m15 doesn't.

Yeah the very first M15 did have the 9 key and I was hoping it would stick with future generations but unfortunately that is not the case.
