Zzyzx is actually a very interesting story. The word was created to be "the last word in the English language". It's a real town in California, intentionally created.
I think we have very different ideas of what constitutes an interesting story.
The blue leather armchair wasn't a stroke, just the website turning accented letters into garbage. And I laughed my ass off Lexi trying to pronounce "érdeklödni" which by the way means "to inquire" in Hungarian. Maybe Hungarian language in general looks like someone having a stroke for English speaking people.

I'm Icelandic. Even you know how to speak Icelandic. It's a musician performing on stage. You're doing improv everytime you speak. There's no proper way to speak Icelandic. I looked at Hungarian text recently. The grammar looks angerism on a page.
@@Skoopyghost As a try-lingual that can say a few swears in a dozen languages but barely functional in one... Icelandic legit sounds like one is trying to summon a norse god. And Hungarian definitely looks like the official second language of /r/ihadastroke (Finnish ain't any better, but at least there's recognizable /patterns/ so you know it's actually supposed to mean something), which is probably why Polish (the one language I'm actually _trying_ to learn right now) has some funny jokes regarding Hungarians. And Germans, for that matter. "Niemcy kurdę!"
@@WackoMcGoose The Icelandic version of fock you is ,,Farðu til fjandans." it translate to "go meet the devil", and if I stub my toe, and say ,,fjárinn" or ,,Helvítis". The former translates to a flock of sheep that you heard, and the latter just translates to Hell itself. Also. It's kinda funny you speak, or text of old English to a Icelander. The Icelander can understand a lot of the text while the native English speaker doesn't get anything at all.

I myself have a had a few r/Ihadastroke moments when typing online quickly, and it is these very moments that make me appreciate any platform where you can edit/fix the text after you've posted.
edit: I've seen Zzyzx Road many times! It's on our way to vegas here from Cali, we always pronounced it Zi-zeexs road.

I've seen that exit when i lived in California and we would be driving from CA to UT. Also i saw a office sign to let people know who works in the office and the person's name was OOOOO OOOOOO.
It's ZIE-zix. I was in a lot of national saxophone quartet competition semifinals (never got past a round of 8 :( ) and there was always a quartet going to finals named Zzyzx, so I learned how to pronounce it. I always thought it was some astronomical phenomenon like a syzygy or something, but apparently it's just a town in California and it was made up by some quack who was trying to drive hype for his fake medical treatments. So, a slightly less impressive name now.

As a customer support manager, I can totally agree that these are real... And on top of that we need to be very careful around them because they are 80% the same people who will sue (without any chance if success if they actually try) or complain to "the manager" who is usually the person who gave the green light for a specific response in the first place.

Those glue traps for mice and rats are cruel in my opinion. Pest control used to use them in my apartment and sometimes it would take days for the mice that were caught in them to die. The whole time the poor little things were squeaking in fear and pain. 😢
