"From the producers who saw Shrek" is brilliantly cheeky.
Honestly, if it was on a real movie doing Deadpool style 4th wall breaking credits, it'd be BRILLIANT
@@gokuxsephiroth4505 there is a copy at my nearby library lol
@@gokuxsephiroth4505 it is in fact that please watch it omg
I also saw shrek. Maybe I could join their team
The fact that you could recognize Brennan just by his forehead is easily my favorite part of this video.
Yet can't recognise an Ali G costume!
Not to mention the little smooch ❤
A true Brennan fan, we can never be him
Fellow Dropout fans?
@@billcipher_natchosans Absolutely! Mainly Dimension 20, but there's some great stuff on Dropout.
I was not expecting Jack to be a fan of Brennan Lee Mulligan but i am very happy about it since I watched this after finishing the new neverafter episode
“Dr. Bob. A doctor you can trust”.
To answer Jack first question, I think the first video game I played was Wii sports at the ripe old age of 5.
Mine was Minecraft. My dad and I built a house in creative, it was massive and his 'room' was an entire floor, but mine was a small room.
I actually met a Dr. Pepper when I was pregnant with my son back in 2003. He told me almost everyone he ever met since beginning a doctor made jokes about his name but he was cool about it.
I was born in 2003... Ma?
@@darcolomew r/cursedcomments
In 1988, my doctor who delivered my youngest son, was named Dr. Coke. Thankfully, her parents weren’t cruel and named her Cherry or Sherry (not that those names are bad!), her name was Wendy. 🙂
I met a Mr Doktor recently, he's working on his PhD. With that name, that's mandatory for humor purposes
@@KNR90 "Doktor!! Turn off my cringe inhibitors!!"
Honestly I like off brands more for snacks and cereal because often times they taste the same while the price is lower
Where I live (Germany), many of them are made by the same company, too. The cheaper ones my have slight variations in ingredients (like for a can of soup there may be less meat in the cheaper ones for example).
Sometimes the knockoffs taste better than the brand. And sometimes it's exactly the same stuff, just cheaper.
you might be right, but quite often, the off brands also taste way worse, I'm not much of a soda drinker, but I hate most cheap off brand Cola.
I’m a believer in food lion / Great value
Honestly you really are paying for a name
@@geeksxxl really because pepsi tastes like total ass err well tastes like horrid chemicals
the off brands actually still taste like soda
12:31 I'm SCREAMING at the fact you missed that it's a double bootleg! The kids on the cover are from Jimmy neutron but edited a little lmfao
Jimmy Neutron? Is that an off brand version of the beloved children’s cartoon, James Proton?
Bru the same
Haha I seen that too I was about to comment seen this they think they slick
@@infiniteplanes5775Sounds like a ripoff of Jacquelyn Electron.
12:31 - I love how it's not only a bootleg on twister but the kids are bootleg jimmy neutron characters, too
Someone I know once found a tub of prongles in a shop and the slogan was 'Once you pop, thats great!'
And now you've found the Bingles. Don't pop me though, that wouldn't be great
@@BinglesP would it be not great for you or for me?
Prongles was an Obvious Plant-esque deliberate parody, not an actual product. And we do not speak its name speak its name speak its name it was posted 50,000,000 times on r/crappyoffbrands I'll be curling up in the corner now-
That was supposed to be an Ali G costume. Not Steven Segal.
Was looking for this comment! 😄
It's Steven Segal cosplaying as Ali G
The "Wizard Wand" right next to it, that looks like a turd confuses me even more.
Yeah the costume was obvious, but that face does distract.
Is it because he ain’t black? That’s what bootleg Ali G would say!
@5:22 Fun fact, the most Japanese call french fries "fried potato" or "potato fry".
Hey, do you watch Pui Pui? I live in Kanazawa, and it used to be on at 6:55 on Friday nights.
The sniper ice cream is almost in every crappy off brand videos and it cracks me up every time because they are produced in my country, Iran and sold everywhere and they are made by the biggest ice cream company here and it's a genuine popular product
I wonder if we'll see any Obvious Plant items in here... I always love seeing their stuff.
Also, to answer the first game question Jack posed, my first remembered game would be Super Mario World on the SNES. *Do not call me old, I will cry about it.*
EDIT: JACK YOU MADMAN YOU CALLED ME OUT AGAIN.
I was looking for you for so long, and I have finally found you. ❤❤❤❤
And he *still* called it impregnated.
NOOOO
Of course you're the first comment I see when Jack says that omfg
My first game ever was Mario Kart Super Circuit.
Still play it on the exact same GBA(changed the shell and screen tho) I had as a baby.
Grove Street is an iconic street in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. It is located in Ganton, Los Santos.
Grove Street is the home of Sean "Sweet" Johnson and Carl "CJ" Johnson, the two leaders of the Grove Street Families. They, along with their two siblings Kendl and Brian, were born and raised in the Johnson House.
Ryder also lives there.
12:55 Goku's Ugly Twin looks like a Ferengi with a wig... and I think Odo needs to really put a stop to Quark's bodybuilding supplement side-hustle.
Honestly could you imagine a kid getting that south park book and growing nostalgia for it only to discover the show years later to be completely blown back by how offensive it really is?
7:40 fun fact: "æslet" is Danish for "the donkey"
Huh. Wonder what the etymology could POSSIBLY be
I actually like Dr. Bob, it's not awful.
Same, but it's more than just 'not awful', it's actually good. It's like 80% of the taste of Dr.P but 1/3 the price.
Well, yeah, it's cheap store brand, Dr. Pepper, unless they managed to massively fuck up the taste, I'm not gonna complain.
Great tagline. 😂
Here in Texas we got doctor B
Four words
Doctor thunder
The 'herb warrior' costume is Ali G, one of Sacha Baron Cohen's characters
Ali G...*IS*...Steven Seagall...in...BRUNO GOES TO KHAZAKHSTAN!!!
I unironically like Dr. Bob.
Him and his SCP videos are always good.
I thought I was alone
His second channel is an Elsagate train wreck though, but don't tell him I said that.
I love how he's able to recognize the forehead of Brennan, insane
I would have loved to hear Robin's reaction to that post showing "Garten of BanBan" merch, considering he is a voice actor in Poppy Playtime (which that game is pretty much a copycat of).
He's a voice actor in poppy playtime?
@@robert.7230 Yes, Robin is credited in the game as the voice of Leith Pierre (only heard in tapes). Took a while for me to recognize his voice, but after being told about it, I can hear it.
Wait, what?????
To be fair that is hard to tell with those knock offs.
@@iclynnx lol
imo poppy playtime is not really a bad game, its just those cringe milkers
Ali G being mistaken for Steven Segal makes me feel so old
We have reached the era where Ali G is officially lost to obscurity 😂
It's not Steven Segal. It's supposed to be Ali G., a Sasha Baron Cohen character.
The "Don't Fall Down" game also used Jimmy Neutron characters.
The fact that I can still recognize the Stop & Shop logo on the Dr. Bob even though I haven't lived in New England for 11 years says... something. Not sure what, but it's kinda funny
I actually played Super Mario Bros. Age 2, my parents were barely old enough to be out of high school (at age two: when I was born my mom still was) and they didn't know how to do parenting. They sat me down in front of it.
You were born at age 2? /j
@@mel0dicHarp yes indeed. Born at a very young age
@@Volumixen ah yes, i was born at the very young age of 3
My parents got an nes in 1988. I think it was 1989 when my not yet school age self managed to put a 4in gouge into the TV glass using the lightgun while playing duck hunt (we had the super Mario bros/duck hunt cartridge). I never heard the end of it until the TV finally died decade and change later

In reference to Brennan's forehead, Don't Laugh News is great and everyone should watch it. CH is still doing new eps too.

Who else remembers the days of Trainsfromers?
Honestly, I’d totally buy those Bobby Hill Phone Cases.

Don't get me started on that Mountain Dew. Why be dew? When you can be Lightning!
surprised Robin didn't realize that Twister knockoff had Jimmy Neutron knockoffs too
I don't remember the very first game I played. Mostly because despite being a very early millenial, my parents practically shoved a joystick in my hand as a baby.
I remember only vaguely about being ridiculously good at centipede and digdug on the atari, those were some of my earliest gaming memories.
then..... I got introduced to Sonic when that came out. I was about 5 at the time. That stuck with me for life. lol.
i don't remember either just remember it was on a floppy and i used ms-dos to start😆
Omg when I was a little kid I was obsessed with Sonic (even tho I was utter trash at it)
Me too. It was probably (2nd-3rd grade-ish?) the original Oregon Trail on the green screen Apple 2E's they had at my Elementary school. We didn't have a personal computer at home until I was in like 5th grade. @@MadSwede87

Garten of BanBan is actually an indie game series. There are two of them so far. There will at least be a 3rd. It has an interesting story. There are a few gaming channels that have covered it if you get curious.
0:04 I work at one of the stores that would sell Dr. Bob. The Bird Bowl logo means it's sold north east USA

How can Jack can recognise Brennan from his forehead, but doesn't know who Ali G is?

4:20 pretty impressive offbrand
Skerple is one I've seen before. Found a pack of 20 colors at dollar tree. They smelled like death with a mild hint of ink. You could smell these things three rooms over using them. I just started crying because I remembered that smell. Thank you.
Bro all jokes aside, those were actually some really good impressions
Brennan Lee Mulligan mention! With a smooch on the forehead! Just when I thought I couldn't like Jack more!
My mom buys Dr. Thunder😂😂😂

I remember I asked my dad for Dr Thunder for my 12th birthday. Got three 2-liter bottles of it. They lasted me a good while lmao.
I still love the stuff to this day
My dad used to call it Dr. Thunder From Down Under.

there was this daycare centre in a mall near where my father worked and one day he dropped me off there where i started reading books. this was in a rich area and some kids were playing video games but i, being from the poorest area in the city, had only ever seen computers on tv. after they left one of the ladies working there suggested that i try it and i told her i didn’t know how, so she led me over and showed me which buttons to press and i played some kind of pc mario game that i still don’t know the name of. poor woman didn’t know she was setting me up for a lifelong addiction, she just wanted me to have fun and i appreciate that.
The tragedy that you thought Ali G was Steven Seagal 🤦♂
They don't know British culture
@@skootergirl22 I mean, I'm a Kiwi. But didn't those movies like make it big everywhere? Maybe I'm too old, lol
My first gaming experiences had to be the old Namco Plug 'N Play game with Ms. Pac-Man, Mappy, Galaga, Pole Position, and Xevious.
But as for my first console, that would be the Gameboy Advance SP, and I always loved trying to beat Crash Bandicoot Purple: Ripto's Rampage on it, amongst other games.
Dr Bob is a soda sold locally around here. It’s a grocery store called the Giant. Definitely wasn’t something I was used to when I moved here, the Giant is only in like 3 or 4 states
Figured out i'm moving today but this has made my day better.
A bad person makes a bad story? Wow
Y’all I just got out of reconstructive surgery and my arm doctor was named bob
1:50 ..Are we just gonna ignore the fact that there's something "between his legs"?
I love how the off-brand Twister also has off-brand Jimmy Neutron characters
I love how the twister knock-off is also using knock-off jimmy neutron and his friends, with the only real changes being their clothes and hair color.
Gotta be honest,
First game I ever played was the first ever Skylanders
Man it was SUCH a good game back then
So many great memories playing while my dad is watching
It pains me that it became such a pay to win game
Man I miss the old times...
OMG yessss, I completely forgot about Skylanders. I miss that game.
@@70killer yea it was a masterpiece
I sadly lost the CD and the only games I can play are the newer ones...

I personally shop only off brand foods because the taste is the same and it's like 1/10 of the price
As a kid i loved Croc! First game? Lets get these two here: Pac-man (on Didaktik M - Czechoslovak 8 or 16 bit computer) and Jazz jackrabbit! (on 486 computer) Oh the nostalgia... I remember how was Didadktik "singing" when it was loading data to its memory. Oh and remember that 486 was like heater, ohh that hot table and air around its case... Sweet sweet memories...

My first gake was angry birds. God i have so much nostalgia from playing the first few games.

Right leg is blue.
This is suspiciously similar to Ressha Gattai ToQOh from _Ressha Sentai ToQger._
Somehow, I love the knock off Jimmy neutron characters at 12:31, Carl scared as always, Cindy seems to have picked up braided pigtails, Sheen is the exact same as he always is, and Jimmy must've gotten his head bleached with a haircut.
11:11 the popular game, rainbow friends from Roblox
"So this is where all the Karens have turned up! I've been wondering why their numbers have dwindled lately" 😀
Oh my god! So that's where they went! We got to them, it seems.
Actualy, there's a movie / sketch called "Spider Plant Man" with Rowan Atkinson (Mr. Bean). The movie is a parody of spider man. It's available on youtube if anyone would like to check. So maybe that's the movie on the disc. :D
Also... the costume guy is supposed to be Sasha Baron Cohen from his role in "Ali G Indahouse" movie, not Steven Seagal. ;)
Also... part 2... :D Grove Street is off brand from Groove Street. Street and a gang name from GTA: San Andreas... Silly! :D
5:42 there was actually an official series called Trainsformers which is exactly as it sounds, Transformers but with thomas the tank engine universe. I used to watch them as a child

11:04 btw i dont think the narrator guy man guy thingy man man will read this but, garten of banban is a game and offbrand is i guess.... making plushies out of the characters? i dont realy call that off brands.... but who cares
Dr. bob is actually really good. I trust him more that pepper guy. he always overcharges
I’m honestly not surprised to see Garten of BanBan on here
Well, if BTD doesn't count, then my first game was Plants vs. Zombies back in 2009. Ah, the memories of getting it on hard disk... now people don't even know what a hard disk is :/

the fact that he missed the jimmy neutron ripoff on the don't fall down has laughing
It's not a Steven Seagal outfit, it's a UK comedy character called Ali G.
Comix Zone was my first video game actually, i got some crappy sega branded "console" with a bunch of pirated roms when i was a tiny lad. Idk what gravitated me to it but i remember enjoying it, even replayed it easily. Fun fact: The first Croc game WAS originally meant to be a Yoshi game but Nintendo turned the idea down. The dev team moved to the PlayStation and changed the character just enough to be something new.
Also first game was Super Mario World
Dunno if anyone noticed, but the biggest thing about the Twister off-brand wasn’t the game itself, but the fact that it used Jimmy Neutron Characters. 12:30
I seen it but then was distracted/disappointed by the "your out" instead of the correct "you're out" exclamation in the bottom corner...
I am distracted/disappointed that you "seen" it instead of "saw" it...
The original "I'd" that had been typed was not fully recognized by my phone's Auto-Fill feature and it reverted back to a singular "I"... but thanks for the grammar check. ;)
That's Ali G, not Steven Segal.
I live in Iowa and can confirm that all Casey’s general stores have possibly the best off brand sodas every.😂
Garten of Banban is an actual horror game. It's an interesting concept but the first game left much to be desired.
My first video game was a 2-game cartridge for the Nintendo Entertainment System with Super Mario Brothers and Duck Hunt. I remember them well and how I liked the sound the light gun made when you pointed it at the screen and pulled the trigger.

America's Cup on the Commodore 64. On audio cassette. We'd just bought the computer, and my dad came into my room after mom went to sleep, woke me up, we loaded it up, and played it until morning.
But my favourite game on the C64 was Giana Sisters. You play as Giana Giana (or as player 2, her sister, Maria Giana) running around jumping on enemies, or hitting the bottom of blocks to get power-ups. I hear there's a crazy off-brand version of the game where she's replaced by a guy named Mario...
Lego Indiana Jones on the PS2 was my first video game that I remember. 10:11 is a GTA San Andreas reference, the snack that smiles Jack
This video was in my recommended directly next to a Dr. Bob video
1:00 ((edit: forgot to mention I was like, 5 and a half here)) my very first game was Black Ops 2, Zombies, Map Green Hill or Green Run? I don't remember the name of it, but I just like to call it Town cause it's WAY easier to remember, but yeah, my very first try? I got to level 19 or 20 and I was so happy, because my go to guns?
