For that blind date story, it was actually the woman who brought her family members to 'test her date's generosity.' Like any reasonable person, the guy had absolutely no interest for paying for a stranger's family's food, and took off immediately after the meal was over. Afterwards, she actually tried to sue him to get him to cover part of the bill, but the courts sided with the guy and only made him pay for the food he ate.
She brought that on herself, 100%.
"While Mr. Lui was happy to pay for a small portion of the meal, he insisted that the woman and her family should be paying for their share"
The part I'm confused about is why he didn't just go "WTF" and bail right away. This is just absurd.
Yeah like, the moment there's other 23 people in the supposed date you should just call it quits, regardless if they want to pay their share or not. I assume the whole thing was awkward, eating and attempting to flirt... while 23 strangers stare at you lol
I love it when justice prevails like this
This whole thing sounds like a plot for a porn film.
If she wants to do that then she should of brought a child not her whole family unless the family member was just one child I would of done what the guy did and only paid for my meal and no one else's.
To that first mom, I have 2 words:

Nah, toddlers do not limit themselves to books, trust me, it will end in a loud screamy wrestling match over the markers anyway. But we live in the nowadays where these wonderful things called iPads exist. A single flight messing around on that thing won't kill them as long as it's not raising the kid at all other times.

1:45 I read „blind date“ as a date with a blind person and imagined 23 family members very quietly eating spaghetti in a candle light restaurant to prevent the blind guy from noticing them, but he of course heard them and was secretly laughing his ass off while asking „how the hell can you eat 10 pizzas in a row?“

13:07 How dirty minded do you have to be to immediately equate “kinda salty” with semen?????
I am extremely dirty minded, and even I didn't come to that conclusion.
That's what I'm thinking!
It's probably not about being dirty minded tbh. Since this is about Target and "grooming" was mentioned, it's most likely some poor dumb conservative woman already primed by grifters and hate gremlins on the right to incorrectly assume anything and everything Target is selling is associated with the LGBT community and thus sexual deviance and pedophilia
She was being kinda salty
That’s what I was wondering! It was still confusing to me until another comment pointed out that she would’ve had to taste “jiz” at some point to connect two.
In 2019, I was homeless for a couple months. Part of the reason it was so long is because of the stereotypes. I kept hearing, "You can tell when someone is faking homelessness when they have good shoes". I'd just bought new shoes a couple months before I was homeless, so they still looked new. Plus, there was a church in that town that let homeless people come do laundry and take a shower once a week, so I was still clean and wearing clean clothes. So people always assumed I was lying about being homeless. I probably should have just skipped laundry and showering and not shaved so I would "look homeless. But then I'd be too disgusting for people to care about. Looks like the problem is that people just look down on homeless people no matter what. I don't drink, don't do drugs, I had a job that whole time. I had been living with someone with severe mental health issues who decided to abruptly kick me out. But because of stereotypes, so many people assumed I was homeless because I was a drunk unemployed drug addict
And yes, I had a working smartphone the whole time.
Well shoot, why didn't you just sell that phone? You probably coulda got $50 for it! That would solve all your problems forever! It's not like you'd need it to get a job, or that money would be a drop in the bucket of what you actually need...

North Korea has a hard-on for that "sins of the Father" thing. So, when they say that suicide is illegal, I'm assuming that means "Don't kill yourself. Otherwise, we'll punish your entire family."
The test slapped the kid with a fucking gotcha question but they figured out a way to make sense of it anyhow and instead of the teacher acknowledging it they get punished for not coloring inside the lines set for them. Man, I wonder why most kids don't bother doing more than rote memorization for a great majority of their education.
Actually kid did colored in lines. Question was "HOW was it possible?" not "IF it's possible?" ergo question told him that there is solution and he have to find it.
The teacher neither wrongly read question, wrongly formulated the question or is absolute dumass, who wanted to bully kids.

"We have the honor to announce you that you didn't get the job"
When i was homeless i used the showers at the local hospital. They were pretty accomodating when it came to personal hygiene. Didn't really matter if you had a home or not. I also ate three meals a day and got to take something with me so i had a late night snack each and every day. Sometimes i even had a place to sleep which felt sorta safe. Gatekeeping homelessness is silly.
Robin I couldn't agree with you more on gen-x being violently rude and gross to homeless folks. My mother is from gen-x, and upon seeing me give around 25 dollars or so to a homeless man who told me he'd been digging for his last meal through the dumpster after his parents just died from COVID, she started yelling at me that I should have gave HER the money instead if I was just going to throw it away like that 'because we're poor too'. Yes, we're not very well off, but we can still afford not to eat out of a dumpster for the time-being, and I would hardly consider giving money to a guy who literally looked emaciated so he could buy food 'throwing it away'. She insisted it was probably a scam, especially since COVID has been used to scam people a lot.
But you know what? I'd rather give away some of my money to a guy who I wholeheartedly believed needed the help and turn out to have been wrong than ignore a man in need because I assumed he was faking his parents death and emaciated appearance. I cannot stress enough, this man was stick thin, his face was scruffy and unshaven, his clothes weren't extremely unkempt but they didn't look like they'd been washed recently either. He was walking with a cane. I try not to judge off appearances normally, but when being told by that same person he needed help, I concluded that was all the proof I needed, no interrogation necessary.
I'm just so utterly disgusted to call such a woman my mother.
That's your mother? YOUR MOTHER?!
God if my mom was to pull the same shit (which she has not pulled the same shit to the same degree luckily), I would have called out their shit immediately, and I would have told them off.
Must be an American thing. Not that we all treat our homeless people over here really well but I haven't seen such downright rudeness and callousness over here.
But technically no one would need to be homeless here, it's just that for some their mental health doesn't allow them to get everything in motion to have the state help them, and we generally have a solid social security system so maybe that leads to a different mentality, I don't know.
I'm glad you're helping I'd you can. I do, too.
Imagine how much better the world would be if everyone did what they could - especially those who have all the means and more wealth than anyone could ever need.
@@sylverscale unfortunately in the US homeless is treated like a crime and the people are often denied safe places to sleep and food claiming it’s a “health hazard”

same stories with me
That submarine story reminds me of what happened here in Genova with the bridge Morandi. This bridge built in the 60's collapsed back in 2018 if I'm not mistaken. It made news all around the world. I remember seeing a headline appear on the new york times about it. 45 people died in the accident. The bridge as stated earlier was built in a time where no such highway traffic could be anticipated. Nobody could've guessed there would be tons of heavy trucks crossing it on the way to Milan every single day. Many people raised concerns about it. One university professor and researcher I believe from my university (architecture) or from Genova nonetheless published in 2015 research stating that the bridge was unfit and wrongly built. That it was miscalculated by the architect (Morandi) who created and built it. But oh no. The highway association swept all concerns under the rug. The bridge was in constant maintenance. Year after year. It was made of reinforced concrete. Which is known for not being structurally sound since the reinforced part, usually metal poles, can tarnish and weaken and deteriorate over time. But because they're encased in cement you can't get to them safely. I believe there's an ongoing lawsuit against the highway association on murder charges, since they were totally aware of the issues but chose to ignore them. An incredibly famous local architect Renzo Piano (who created the Sydney Opera House) took over to rebuild the bridge. And this bridge has a special feature no other bridge has. In Italy on highways there are no lights except near gas stations and exits. But this bridge is fully lit by blinking light poles. And he added the same number of light poles as the victims of that tragedy. Also an image of a supermarket truck became iconic. This guy stopped right on the edge where the bridge collapsed. He got off the truck and ran away leaving it there. I believe it was sold at auction for charity. Also my half brother lost his house as he lived directly below the bridge and they had to destroy his building to build the new bridge.

I used to love giving to the homeless. I would beg my parents to let me give them literally anything, despite the fact I didn't have much, because I felt horrible for them. Then my step dad started trying to convince me all of them were fake and, if they weren't fake, they could just get a job, since that's what he did. After that, I didn't try to convince them to help the poor. Unfortunately, that is the most i could, and still can, do, since I'm not old enough to do much. Nonetheless, I really hope the little I did before made just a bit of an impact on the lives of the few I was able to help.

I live near a city called Troy. Troy ounces are a measurement that exist. Its usually used for measuring gold. There are 12 troy oz in a pound and it has nothing to do with the city
why do i find 14:31 so hilarious

13:00 someone sounds more than just ‘kinda salty’ over a simple phrase
0:12 You’re thinking “deface”

tbh the internet ruined the reputation of stock photo's
For me, my issue with stock photos is when people use them in their videos without removing the watermark, which you can do simply by paying for it, which I’m guessing these people can afford, considering they have a *crap tonne of subscribers* and prolly get a crap tonne of ad revenue.
@@ARCtheCartoonMaster my guess is that they find it funny to use stock photo's with the watermark
and hey, at least they don't edit the watermark out
hey at least Florida Ounces admitted they were wrong lol
And in the funniest possible way
The north korea thing is kind of serious because when someone there commits a crime, pretty much the entire family gets imprisoned. Even kids.
2:12 Here we see a teacher be outsmarted by a kid. This is also my answer: If Marty's was bigger (let's say 2), then 4/6 of 2 is bigger than 5/6 of 1 (⅔ of 2 is 1 ⅓, ⅚ of 1 is ⅚). I just showed my proof. Now, this question is posed to the reader: is there any more solutions?

07:03 elon Musks Mum: "No you can't beat up another priviliged white dude, people allready think you are weird." and everyone on the whole planet: "but Moooom...." Would literally have been the first fight I would have watched, but.. I mean even if for some strange reason Musk would do krafmaga and break some bones, I really don't care whom of those 2 get hurt, I just want them to get hurt... and I want a camera witnessing it, I would pay... seriously... and who tf wouldn't?
The only fight we need to see
Musk probably found out Zucc was actually a martial artist who's straight up competed and won medals and went "oh I fucked up".
@@funnyvalentinedidnothingwrong Yeah he probaply found out about it the same day most of us did, its so weird that no one even bets an eye. Same with Bezos mfer is ripped af.

this is about how everyone was talking about the titan submersible, but people didnt talk about the ship sinking nearly as much. that ship was moving people who wanted to get away from their country to i believe Greece, im not 100% sure about where they were going but long story short the ship sunk and over 500 people drowned slowly and painfully.
both stories are tragedies, but it is shocking that the loss of 500 people is not being talked about nearly as much as the loss of 5 wealthy people
1:16 I feel like this kinda works in r/niceguys / r/nicegirls
9:44 we need LESS people in this damn country and this damn world
my titanic enthusiest friend is yelling in my ear to point out that the captain of the Titanic wasn't a bad captain.
10:25 The rich vs. the poor: In the same week, about 600 people drowned in the mediterranean sea when a very overcrowded boat sank. Coast guard was idling right next to them, watching it happen, later stating that the sinking boat's staff seemed to have a handle on things so no need to interfere.
Ah yes, *florida* ounces. LMAO
My best guess for the last one
Based on how I’ve heard some of the laws there work
If you off yourself
Your family will probably be the ones to pay for your “crime”
Which is just
A whole new level of fucked up
Those families have to suffer through losing a loved one
Then getting punished for it afterwards

That’s like Monster (the energy drink) wanting to sue a horror game called Monsters & Mortals because it has the word Monsters in it.
i have a sneaky suspicion it’s not gonna work.
13:27 I think the shirt perfectly sums up that parent. Kinda salty.
3:08 Thiis is not a facepalm. This is infuriating. This is Scott. This is disgusting. They Palms are funny. This is not a face poem. This poor woman was taken advantage of. I can't believe this and I want to fucking cry. She reminds me of my grandma and I hope my grandma doesn't do this.
I think you might’ve mixed up some words in the first half. I completely agree, but still.
The first one, while it does look terrible, I believe is crayola washable markers, meaning she can just wipe it all off with a wetwipe before leaving.
But will she clean it? Doubt.
Which she will surely do /s
Washable with some soap maybe, but I side-eye those "washable" labels. I think it's gonna end up as a headache for the cleaning crew either way
@@jordanjoestar-turniptruck why would there be a headache? it's not like you need windex or any other harsh cleaning products to clean a simple crayola marker. /nbr
unless i'm being stupid and not knowing it's a joke
@@k1ng_n0thing more than one simple Crayola marker has seeped into a porous plastic surface and left an obvious "shadow" stain that took a lot of magic eraser and elbow grease to scrub out
Vandalize.
The word you were looking for at the beginning is vandalize.
4:00 its the guy being so happy. how are people so incompetent

2:44 I bet they live in Perth, Washington.
Kim criminalizing suicide is actually really significant because iirc his regime punishes the family members and descendants of offenders, ergo innocent people get punished for something they had no hand in. This means anyone who wants to commit suicide in North Korea has to do so knowing their loved ones will be sentenced to suffer in inhumane conditions on their behalf.
I imagine the woman who abandoned her dying husband had days where she was tired, stress, depression, sick, and/or hurt and her husband took care of her. But she’ll still show up at the funeral in fake tears
8:09 I think this is legally blackmail
