  • In this Photoshop tutorial we look at how to straighten and crop images in Photoshop with just a couple clicks! The Perspective Crop tool is found under the Crop tool and it provides a quick way to crop, straighten and adjust the distortion of images, bringing you a perfectly straight image.
    The previous tutorial on using the distort tool to achieve the same effect, but slower, is here: • Photoshop DISTORT tool...

    A big thanks Cristi! I have a few curved photos of my paintings and I need to straighten them up. That's why your tutorial is very helpful for me, because It is the thing I was looking for to solve my small problem. I really liked it 👍 after I had watched this video.
    P. S. In your video I saw "A new explanatory dictionary of the Ukrainian language" from 5:32 second up to 6:00 minute. (I am Ukrainian and it made me happy😊).
    Did it randomly appeared in your video tutorial (as sample for explaining how to use Perspective crop in PS) or maybe you learn Ukrainian or have someone relationship to Ukrainian nation?
    I would highly appreciate your feedback on
    this matter!

  • @alexandru-cristianvoicu7513

    Hello,
    Is there any way I can add the perspective crop tool to Bridge? In Bridge I only have the crop tool and I saw to other friends that they have the perspective crop also. Thank you!

    • @Graphicious
      @Graphicious  Před rokem

      I am not sure if that's in Bridge/Camera raw. This is what they have as far as cropping and straightening. I may be wrong and maybe it's in a different context (perhaps part of the automations that call on Photoshop)? helpx.adobe.com/uk/camera-raw/using/rotate-crop-retouch-images-camera.html

    I need to know how to do the opposite of this. When I already have a straightened picture and want to make it look like its at an angle!

    • @Graphicious
      @Graphicious  Před 2 lety

      You can distort it using the transform controls. Make sure the image is on its own layer, press Control + T, then when the transform handles appear, right click on it and choose Distort. Then you can drag the handles to make the image distorted.

    Hey, just delete the Numbers in the Input field for wide and hight in the top left corner and you don´t need this second step for landscape pictures.

  • @apfelninja

    Why the control+A in the second step? can't you just hit control+T and save a click, or am I missing something?

    • @Graphicious
      @Graphicious  Před 2 lety

      Selecting the area to resize with CTRL + A... and at the end I had the selection ready for cropping. The image was on the background layer also, not on a layer of its own.

    How to automate this and do it in batch

    • @Graphicious
      @Graphicious  Před 2 lety

      I don't think you can. You can try using Actions but if the images in the batch are in different positions, you can't do it because it doesn't detect the perspective on its own, you still need the manual selection.
