Yeah fr. I only needed a refresher on the Pen Tool but I stayed for the whole thing because of how well he teaches. it blew my mind how consistent he was. reinforcing the use of shortcuts, explaining trivial things just in case a complete beginner was watching. I will ALWAYS recommend this channel for photoshop

I think the last time I used photoshop was about 2 years ago, so, there've been a couple of versions since then and no lack of changes and improvements. I have used photoshop 7.0 since 2002 for all my artwork and never progressed higher and never understood the pen tool. Today, thanks to this video I have learned how to use the pen tool. It's really quite easy once you get the basics. The rest is just your imagination. Thank you!

I've used Photoshop since around 1998 and being 52 I've become somewhat stagnant in my willingness to *Learn!* You my friend are a Talented Teacher as well as Photoshop Expert.
I have also been watching your videos for a while and actually *_Learning_* a few very useful things that I could never get my narrow(ed) mind around! Thank You Sir!
I simply couldn't fully grasp the Pen Tool from the beginning but I've bumbled through modifying Selections instead. I almost grasped it once when working as a Signmaker
but this moment right now is monumental!
I am just now subscribing and thumbing this vijeo up because you've been elevated into the rarefied air where the Gods Of Design reside!

This man is a Photoshop treasure. I've been doing Photoshop for decades, but when I started, Corel was my choice for vector graphics, and I had gotten used to its line tool (which I still think is better.) I still struggle with making accurate Photoshop paths using the pen tool, and the ALT/CTRL can still be confusing! This tutorial is exceptionally well done.

This is very good! The only thing missing is, if you want to make two curves with a sharp point like the moon, you can alt click right on the node before the next curved line and you won’t have to deal with that handle at the sharp point. That may have made no sense because I’m not the best teacher ;)
