Hi Ilana, that sounds like a challenging one, particularly if the support team couldn't solve it. When you say "damages all the colors", what do you mean, like they look washed out, or super saturated and broken? Maybe it's a GPU issue, do you have your drives up to date for your graphics adapter? I can't provide much more info without more background. Have you tried on a different computer?

@user-sv8jg4gg4o a lot of things changed since Camtasia 9. The entire rendering and recording engine has been overhauled as far as I know. You can’t compare them. What computer and OS do you have?

@@Graphicious I INSTALLED CAMTASIA 24 AND EVERYTHING IS OK. I THINK IT IS A BUG IN THE SCREEN RECORDER OF CAMTASIA 23

The only way to capture PowerPoint's animations, transitions etc., in Camtasia, is to use Camtasia to screen record while you present them in PowerPoint.

Yes, you can apply the same type of transition to a rectangle that has no fill, and only outline.

Thank you! I use Camtasia for my editing and I film with a green screen. But Camtasia includes an AI-based background removal effect now, just like Zoom. And you can place whatever you want behind you. Here's a video I made in which I show both methods: czcams.com/video/j9YbuwIF-PQ/video.html

I would like to look into that as an option as well. If it's something that you purchased on Amazon the model or the items you use to prop up your green screen behind you would be most appreciated. @artwarrenlaw I used to have a roll up greenscreen from Amazon. However, that was not wide enough, and my camera had a bit of a wide angle. This meant I was always capturing beyond the edges of the greenscreen or I had to have the greenscreen so close to me that it was literally sitting on my back! Then I painted the wall behind me green. Problem solved!

Connected like twowords together like this? That would be a spelling check problem I think. Is it always the same two words? Would a search and replace work?

@jack2media both have some of the features. Camtasia does it with Audiate but it requires a roundtrip and a separate subscription. Descript does seem to have them all but the execution isn’t good

Thanks. Yeah, quite a few things could be added to Descript to up their game in the screen recording world.

I would be nice but then it would have to record in higher resolution to help keep the video crisp as you zoom in. Camtasia has such a feature to automatically zoom in areas where the cursor is focusing. It's not great, but can be used with little tweaks.
