Coney Island is the best neighborhood to grow up in NYC, there's so much stuff to do as a kid, the Amusement Park, The Beach in the Summer Time, all the festivals and Block Parties even now after all the Gentrification ....
bruh coney island up until recently was very abandoned and very violent. growing up we had alot of empty lots and nothing else. there was barley and rides either. just a haven for crack heads.
