Sleeping on Evans. He’s gonna be a stud
FACTS HE IS FROM MY CITY WATCHED HIM COME UP HE MIGHT BE THE LEADING SCORER ON DUKE NEXT YEAR HE IS A BUCKET
@@JohnCramer-yz2rn I think he will too
HUH--- Spencer Hubbard--- Everyone cheers-- and when he hit that 3 the crowd went crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Spencer is a beloved walk on!
Don’t you know that Jon does not play and develop his bench no more than he has too even when he has a 30 point lead, he may play them the last 45 seconds!
The most interesting thing I heard here was that this is the oldest Duke team since 2013.
The National narrative is that Duke can’t seriously contend for the title because they’re too young.
Half of the old guys are practice players.
Of actual players, over half are freshmen.
But only Flag is going to be starting, maybe one more in Maluach, so it's a strange situation to evaluate. All the old guys will be in, except Gillis probably, so off-the-bench dynamics will be inconsistent af
@@annonymous6827 Sion James (5th season), Mason Gillis (5th), Maliq Brown (3rd), Tyrese Proctor (3rd), and Caleb Foster (2nd) are NOT practice players. Every last one of them are potential starters.
@@timothybullock5418 I know! And all of them are going to start except Gillis, and maybe Foster. Our bench is going to be very young and inconsistent
Even Caleb and Tyrese are still so young - Tyrese would naturally be a rising sophomore
@@timothybullock5418 You know who are practice players? A senior and three grads in Borden, and Hubbard, Begovich, and Sheffield
I don’t think we should automatically assume that the freshmen will be inconsistent. Look how solid McCain was last year, and Flip the year before that. And neither were expected to shine preseason.
We have a whole slew of freshmen coming in and I expect Flagg and at least one or two others to be solid all year long.
Maybe Flagg and Kneuppel. Or Flagg and Evans. Or Flagg and Harris. Or Flagg, Maluach and Kneuppel. We have too many options to come up with all duds.
