    Lamela is looking in-form as fuck as well. hes surely trying to prove his worth
    Lucas moura seems to fit into tottenham like a glove. very comfortable and understands the mentality of the team in terms of unity.

      No, VAR is going to make it hard for the cheating players to play their normal style. Son's stats for being offside are quite bad. He's one of the worst offenders on his team, even worse than Harry Kane. Catch Son's attitude when the foul was confirmed. He's become very arrogant for someone who's a newbie.

      Overrated. Doesn't assist. Monopolizes the ball. Opposite of a play maker. Limits his side to low scores because of his selfish behavior. See the Juventus game. He has severe star disease. This is a product of playing for the German leagues when young. From the age of 16, South Korean media were fawning over him. Turned him into an arrogant monster with a huge ego. This sort of player is not good for any team he is on. Poch's praise doesn't help. Son is hurting Tottenham. Truth is they don't need him. They play well even when he's not in the game.

    • @dannyesse3043
      @dannyesse3043 Před 6 lety

      @Thirdi Před 6 lety +7

      I'm gonna have to disagree with your statement due to the lack of knowledge you have on Son. he leads 2nd in assists and goals in tottenham right now. hes trying to prove that he isnt just a play maker; hes trying to prove that hes a dependable goal scorer like Kane. he deserves to be selfish right now. Btw, did you not see that pass to Llorente? that was solid. you're statement is bias as fuck my dude.

    Amazing Lucas Moura!

    • @engespress
      @engespress Před 6 lety +2

      He's like Messi. Small and compact and able to zip to wherever the action is. And Lamela is like Ronaldo. Great at assists and passes and the occasional strike as the opportunity presents. More players should play like Lamela - do more assisting and team work. Only weakness of his is that he can't shoot with both feet, but not a big weakness. New players should prove themselves useful to the team and not try and be stars off the bat like Son does. His solo style of play hurts Tottenham. Yes, he does score goals, but his selfish play limits the scoring of the rest of the team. It's to Tottenham's credit that they can still score well in games with him there. With someone else who is less selfish taking Son's place, the sky would be the limit when it comes to scoring - 6, 7, 8 goals per game.
      Have the current line up minus Son. Harry Kane or someone else who can finish well, and Tottenham is a seal for the FA Cup.
      They should have cut Son for the Juventus game, and the score would have been 2-2, 3-2, 4-2 Tottenham's way. They played so well against Real Madrid, one of the top teams in the world, how come they did poorly against Juventus in that second match? Because of Son's inclusion in that game. Pochettino should have subbed him off the first time he did a failed cross. That's all he can do, hog the ball and do crosses. Cross, fail, cross, fail, dive - this is the extent of his game. He never assists. Tottenham were in perfect position in front of the goal to kick easy goals many times in that match. Son never passed to these players and instead tried to shoot difficult crosses. I don't know why Poch doesn't discipline him for doing this. He does it all the time. Son has star disease. He's so desperate to be recognized as a Ronaldo, he is playing extremely disastrously for his side, blocking their plays.

    Until Son's stats improve and live up to the hype, I'm not changing my mind about him. Koreans need to stop hyping up Son. It's damn annoying. And he's becoming an insufferable prick on the field. When other players miss his passes, he gives them a dirty look like "How could they miss this perfect pass?!". When he misses a goal kick, it's like the heavens have fallen. "How can I, the Great Heung Min, miss a goal kick???!!!! Calamity has struck!!!!" When the referees call an offside, a foul, he acts like they've done a gross injustice to him - a perfect player like him never commits fouls.

      25 million pounds for Son, 23 million for Lucas Moura, 25 million for Lamela - recent additions. Kane is said to be worth more than 200 million. Money has to come from somewhere. Tottenham obviously has the funds to assemble this sort of team. Handpicked from all over the world - potential stars. Pochettino had better show something for it or the investors will be mad. They're trying to make it like Man U 10 years ago, filling it with the best of the new generation of players. These three new players are all young. The talent is there. Pochettino will be blamed if the Spurs don't win a Cup this year. They lost their chance at the Champions League. Tottenham don't have any cups to their name. They're going full-bore to end this embarrassing streak.

      IE With each time I read one of your comments they keep getting worse and worse.. Tottenham's net spend in the last five years before signing Lucas was £1m.. compare that with the teams they're competing against.. man city (net spend over £400m), Chelsea (net spend over £150m), man united (over £200m), Liverpool (over £100m), arsenal (over £200m). Do some research before spouting ignorant comments.

    • @engespress
      @engespress Před 6 lety

      Don't know what you're talking about. You're saying Tottenham spent less than £1m on Son. Son was signed up before Lucas. I'm talking about the cost of the transfer. I don't know what you're referring to. I've even linked to an article that states the value of his transfer/contract. Just because other teams are spending high does not mean Tottenham is spending little on players. I suggest you follow your own advice about doing research before spouting ignorant comments. Where's your proof that Son's transfer was for a relatively small sum? I've given mine. You give yours showing the information in the link is wrong.
