- Bayern warmed up for the new Bundesliga campaign with a 3-0 win against Swiss side Grasshopper Club Zürich in their final pre-season friendly of 2024/25 at the Campus on Tuesday. Michael Olise got his first goal for his new club to open the scoring in the first half, before Harry Kane doubled the lead shortly after the restart. Mathys Tel added a sublime third after a raft of substitutions, with Thomas Müller getting the fourth in the final seconds.

Palace fan here. In our first game we could already could see the lack of Olise. This gem always provided quality for us, saved our games, saved my stake bets and so on. I dont think Eze will be the same without him 😩 Please take good care of our boy!

So schade die Situation mit DeLigt und Tah aktuell sein mag, man muss sagen, dass Olise ein absolut genialer Transfer war, den so glaube ich keiner vorher erwartet hatte.

Wer sich viel mit fussball beschäftigt..und das auch mit den Auslands ligen..der weiss wie gut dieser junge ist..

Du schreibst "schade" zum bisherigen Nichttransfer von Jonathan Tah: Bist Du wirklich der Meinung, dass unser FCB die geforderte und nach m. M. deutlich zu hohe Summe von ca. 30 Mio EUR bezahlen sollte? Nach meiner Einschätzung sind wir auch nach dem Weggang von Matthijs de Ligt in der Abwehr zumindest quantitativ ausreichend besetzt. Und wenn die Herren Upamecano und Kim ihre Leistung nicht deutlich steigern, werden wir ohnehin auch in dieser Saison wieder erhebliche Probleme in diesem Mannschaftsteil haben.

I remember Muller in the World Cup in Brazil, when he was such a key player for Deutschland! I thought he was OLD back then, but I guess he was just really mature for his young age. He certainly was a font of inspiration for his team-mates in their matches.
@tytn9978 that's because it was already his second world cup. He was the golden boot in 2010. If we're being honest, Muller always had that gift of genius level spacial awareness. That's probably why he came into the first team at Bayern at 18 and never really looked back.

Tel really needs to get a fair chance this season. Every single time he plays he looks like an absolute monster, yet he never got the game time so far. That touch and finish were world class!

@@niklashutzler5598 One game is not that large of a sample size. Last season, he had about one goal contribution per 90 minutes, even tough he mostly just played 10-15min off the bench.
