- I created this video as a REAL step-by-step tutorial for changing the wireless charger on a 2015-2020 Cadillac Escalade, Chevy Tahoe, or GMC Yukon. There are shorter videos on youtube showing the same thing, but this is the only one that shows you every single step from start to finish without cutting out any important bits for beginners and those with little experience like myself. I cant help but notice in your video...your center console is already the upgraded mat....how about those of us changing from 2015 to 2018? Im curious as to how it looks after replacing it, since there is no trim that will fit/line up with the new style mat to the old style trim...
I think you may be incorrect.
The 4th gen Escalade used the same mat from 2015-2017 (ours is 2017) and only changed it starting 2018 to 2020. This is the same time they upgraded the charging components.
It should be a direct fit. Nothing changed in the design of the center console. Only the design of the rubber mat.
Call your Cadillac dealer parts department. They can confirm for you as well. Just explain what you’re planning on doing.
Most times the old mat part number will be discontinued and not even offered anymore, and only the updated one will be available.
I am 99.9% sure you will not have a problem. But again, double check with Cadillac parts department. Goodluck!

Haven’t been in my mom’s Escalade in like a year but I believe so.
Everything acts normal. It’s all factory GM parts so everything works like it should out of the factory.
