Love my new truck for sure, and the wife and kids don't need an extension ladder to get in, but damn I miss that old truck. The last remnants of my youth. About a dozen deer met their butcher in that bed. Good memories. Now I just watch youtube videos of those trucks and pine for younger days lol.

Love the sound of these turbos! I have an rds 9 blade that I installed and am currently pairing an S476 next to it. Really looking forward to how it sounds and drives!
@killjoy0484 it's a little different than normal just that added turbo makes it seem like it lags but that's not necessarily the case. It takes a bit to spool up top but it's a split second and when it hits it goes. Haven't tried exhaust brake yet but we'll see how that is when I put a load on it
Not mad at the Duramax content! I garage built a 63mm 6/6 blade and paired it with the 2003.5 Powerstroke 66.5 mm 10 blade turbine in an LLY housing for my LBZ. Sounds just like it! One of the best mods as it put down 563 RWHP on the NWDC dyno jet with stock sticks and pump.

Vinyl floor kits are about $200 to $250. Nearly every truck I get I install one when I do the sound proofing and stereo wiring. The molded vinyl flooring is not perfect and its a pain to get right, so having a heat gun handy really helps the job go faster. Its best to have a box of 50 or 80 mil killmat and some thicker 397mil padding to add as filler. If you dont do this the truck is a lot louder inside.
Idc what turbo or configuration that is 100% the driver that determines that. I can melt the pistons out of a stock turbo truck, and I can tow with a gt55 on the manifold.
Whats the negative/benefits of all the diff blades that are out there 5, 6, 10 etc? Also lml’s that share the llm body style have the square center hood thing.
Josh on a stock 08 6.7 with weight loss and a 60HP tune. Would a s467 be a decent turbo on stock fuel and a stock 68RFE ? I don’t race the truck but the stock turbo is having VGT issues

A 10 blade vs 9 blade turbine drive extremely similar. This turbo is larger than stock so it does have more lag but the 9 blade turbine is what makes it so loud. The 5 blade compressor wheel on the front vs an oem style again is similar in power delivery. Comes down to customer preference
When you want your 6.6 to sound like a 6.0 but not worry about it blowing up 🤣🤣

the s476 will take away a bunch of the turbo sound. usually the compounds quite down the whistle quite a bit.. at least in my experience
