What makes me jealous is being able to afford shredding those expensive tires
I'm sure they not the expensive stuff. They are most likely cheap Chinese made brands like Venom, Thunderer, Atturo, Pitbull, etc. the ones that coat $200 each while Toyos, Mickey Thompson, and BF Goodrich costs $425 each.
When I used Michelin AT2, I was getting lose to 9,000 Mike's for each 32nd of tread. I got close to 6,000 miles for each 32nd when I used Cooper AT3 XLTs. I wish someone would measure how much tread is burned off each burn out costs. Then he can calculate how many miles of use he loses with every burnout.

It’s so cool how powerful and fast those diesel trucks are. Dang!
Keep them stock and factory and they can be very powerful and dependable. Put big wheels and tires on them and they lose power. Chip them and boost the power and they dont last as long. Jack the horsepower and torque way up and they aren't reliable. Lots of very educated people with PhDs in engineering designed these engines and drive trains to work hard and work for a long time, balancing power, dependability, and economy. Designs are tested in high powered computers and programs and machines testing their functions and compatability with each component. When you just drop in huge turbos and chip some random program to boost fuel flow through injectors and play with the engineering without considering how to match it with all other components, they don't last long. They throw codes and malfunction. Your expensive diesel truck is no longer the dependable, reliable work horse anymore.
@ms.annthrope415 yeah maybe if you leave the hard parts stock. If you know how to properly built and maintain a diesel you can make a decent amount of RELIABLE power. The only reason people have issues is because they'll add big tunes injectors turbos etc but they'll leave the trans stock, the head stock, etc. And then wonder why they are constantly blowing stuff up.

I'm pro diesel. I own two and several in the past, all modified but there was a good reason for it. Yes i could "roll coal" but didnt... much. I also understand gear heads playing with there toys. It just sucks that most of these trucks aren't used for want they are ment for. This was a decade vidoe and there wasn't much"roal coal". Just showing the power of the truck.
