- How many times can they use the word Certified and Independent in one commercial??? So exactly who are these "Independent" Engineers? Do they have a name? Where did they find them? How much did they get paid??? I think we need to get "60 Minutes" after Ford on this!

My dad had a 1960 F100 he bought in I believe 1971. I was only 6 years old. We made many fishing trips to the local gravel pit in that truck. It never let us down. About 4 years later he bought a 1968 Dodge D100. Slant 6, 3 on the tree. I was driving that truck around our property at 12 years old.
My Dad worked for the Forest Service, so before the days of official government auctions, he bought our 1960 shortbed Stepside when it was retired around 1968. It had a 292 mated to (because of the nature of its use) a 4-speed with a granny gear. In low you could practically climb a tree; our only complaint was that the running boards rusted out, but it was still a great truck!
Just got a '58 F100 and My Goodness I love this truck. These commercials are Outstanding to watch now that I own one.
Stopped at this little lady's house, out in Oregon Valley, ask her if she wanted to sell that Ford truck she said it belonged to her husband 12 years ago when he passed away. I asked her if would you like to sell it she said she gave it away to a guy but it had 4 flat tires and he couldn't put it on the trailer, and he never picked it up, I said well how much, would you take for it?, She said! If you can get it off the property right now you can have it.! went over pulled the battery out of my truck, put it in the ford, Pulled the spark plugs out of that 60 Ford F100 4X4 Put it in 2nd gear, turn ignition to the start position walk it off her property within 2 minutes, with 4 flat tires and 6 black widows in the cab🤣🤣🤣 I just love them a granny low gears
I have a 1960 that I paid $150 for in 1987. Still have it
I recently bought a 1960 4x4 and I was wondering if you need to engage the lockers to run it in four wheel drive.
that white 4x4 at the beginning..... yes please!
50 years straight best selling truck.
Love those Ford Trucks
Same
My truck is a little newer but I love it. A 1968 F100
I've got a couple of those old fords and love them i haven't had a chance to drive them yet but they are cool just to look at!
1960 two tone red and white Ive grown up inside one ! To me 1960 is one of the best and most beautiful trucks ever ! Kangaroo 🦘 Island 🏝️ South Australia 🇦🇺
Don't forget that Certified Ford Frame Flex too...Sheesh! They certified that all the way up through the 1990's.
Fixing up an old '60 M100, cool to see the commercials for when it was new
Thanks for posting this! I've been looking for a 1960 Ford truck ad for years.
My 1st vehicle was a shot bed 1958 f100 step side.
It was stolen years ago. However I now have a 1960 f100 style side big back glass chrome bumper. 6 cylinder is an awesome engine bulletproof.
0:19 a F-600 with a bed tube box never seen one before
That truck looks badass
I noticed the very first truck off the line (a Super Duty) had what looked like the 1959 front end. I guess the new look didn't apply to the 1960 big trucks (although in 1961 they brought out an all-new series of Super Duty trucks)
I can't help but think that the song in the background sounds mildly like the opening song for Monty Python's Flying Circus.
What a Amazing time when America was at it pinacal . It’s hard to believe we have declined so fast,(by design)
Pretty sure I saw a 59 there at the end
No Step vans? I have a 61 f600 step van with the factory Diesel.
Why was the test equipment radioactive???
are we going to ignore the guy who is siting next to a radiation box?
@KeweKrypto 12 it makes you wonder what we have now that will be looked at as dangerous in the future
@@jperr2422 well we have the internet
Probably radioactive machines in there
🇺🇸❤
I feel bad for the guy who buys the truck that drove across country to their dealership
Lol. That's not how it works.
They were shipped by rail.
Ford Lorain Assembly
The guy says, "new comfrit" instead of "new comfort".
Lol I just saw my white truck I have 🤣
They don’t make the quality anymore!
Most of them ended up in a junkyard somewhere.
