The 67 F-600 omg I’ve grown up around those living in Brazil, they used to be everywhere, all the governments had them for rubbish, water trucks , armed vehicles , hauling , man those trucks are gorgeous ❤️❤️❤️, I so much gonna have one one day
I like the recessed padded dash pad on the medium 67 Ford, it's a shame it didn't make into production. I like the fact that that basic dash was used in Ford conventional models till 79.
I just said the same thing, and I agree,I wouldn't have written that, but I agree I think it's great that the basic dash stayed the same till 79 in the 67-79 medium duties it's a great looking and solid dash.
I don't think I've ever seen one of those irl with the chrome grille unless it was a fire truck. Normally the grille was painted white at the factory, or body color yellow on school buses. It'd often get repainted body color when the rest of the cab did.
Yeah all the ones I saw were painted white, but in later years I did see a few ones with chrome grills in chrome front bumpers,I was never sure if they were built that way or someone just bought the chrome to dressed their truck up at some later date
@@josephg41 Yup, pretty much a U-shaped curve of chrome take rate across the weight classes with the most being on half-tons and Class 8 semis (probably a higher % of owner-operators than now) with medium-duty trucks having the lowest rate of all.
howdy! Try out dennis carpenter/Macs auto parts for new stuff. Ebay, craigslist, and facebook marketplace are good options too! This was posted a while ago so I hope you found what you needed!

They are something else indeed
Love those old Ford trucks, I own a 79 f700 has the same dash and guages as that 67...

It could be ordered with chrome, but that rarely happened on the big trucks, since they were solely for work.

It's a shame that padded dash didn't make to regular production.
