DiMa "I built Acadia to get away from the Institute and their ways."
*Kills Avery and replaces her with a synth, then plans to kill Tektus and replace him too*
Valentine and his sarcasm makes this game 1000% more enjoyable
Could you imagine doing Far Harbor with Preston... "Shudder" lol
@@mentura7172 "This place would make an amazing settlement, General. I'm marking it on your map for later. :D"
@@classyorange3362 "General I need a favor, the lumber yard needs your help, Again. "... ;)
@@mentura7172 "general, the Dalton farm needs your help, but so does Greygarden. You can only choose one..."
@@classyorange3362 " But Preston I want them all darn it!!"
Honestly, Dima had some of the best voice acting in the whole game, his pure emotion just makes you look past the tubes and plastic
Agreed.
@Efe Karakütük Nick and DiMA are the same voice actor. Did a bunch of others as well. Stephen Russell
Seth Skirpan so you mean the synthetic human lead to believe he is a robot sounded like a robot due to the voice actor? thats high praise!
Still a filthy synth.
Emotion? YOU SURE?
It just hit me that DiMA says "Im sorry" still staring at Avery, almost like trying to apologize to the Human Avery, and the Synth that became Avery, as well...
What a sad, peculiar detail
The change in his voice when you tell him and he remembers
This game is amazing. Despite all his quirks, DIMA acts like a human, "choosing to forget" what morally hurts him, but in a such convincing way that you can understand he's a machine. I wish more TV shows had this much emotional strength.
I think you missed the synth preparation for tektus. In the same room as Jule, there is a synth with unique dialogue saying,”glory to atom! Haha” among other things. This is before you kill/exile tektus. He tells you he’s replacing tektus.
33:26 Didn't know Oxhorn was into overkill.
I mean, he has been playing DOOM Eternal lately.
He did overkilled a giant fire ant during his lore vid about Grayditch. With a Fatman.
“Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it” - George Santayana
Got a little carried away when killing tektus
Simply Legendary Branch Davidians aren’t the same as those other groups. Yeah they were a cult, but it wasn’t really forced on anyone.
Kelpy_ layz he has to make sure he was dead
I noticed that too O.o
The Fatman is great for killing him. Since he'll die from a miniature nuclear bomb.
Avery "Only one punishment for murder."
Allen Lee "I'm going to commit mass genocide and not get punished :D."
Wasn't Allen the one who killed the Child of Atom missionary? so much for "only one punishment for murder"
@@UbinTimor Well that missionary made threats against the people of far harbor. I forget exactly what he said or even how you get that information but he basically said "You will all die by Atom's will".
@@DarkSeraph95 did the missionary pull a gun on Allen? Did they harm Allen physically in any way? No? then it's technically murder, Allen killed an unarmed man simply because they hurt his feelings.
Threats do not give justification for murder, you can't kill someone just because they say their imaginary friend is "going to make them pay" one day, if that was the case then I would be fully justified in putting a bullet in those annoying street corner Christians who berate people by yelling that they're going to hell and that jesus is the only way to "salvation" as much as I'd like to do that I know and I'd hope we all would know that action would be considered murder and I would go to jail for it not mention it's immoral, which is why I wouldn't do it.
@@UbinTimor I didn't say he was justified. I said they where threatened. Second of all being threatened is a reason to defend yourself. It's ambiguous weather or not the preacher was reaching for his weapon. The preacher was armed. Traveling the island unarmed is a death wish
UbinTimor yeah the difference you’re missing is normal world vs post apocalypse. If someone threatens you in fallout world that IS justification enough to shoot them, simple as that
33:26
Uh, I think you got him Oxhorn.
Maybe he saw a spider.
Stop it! Stop it! He's already dead
DeathGodRiku You people have never heard the rule of double tap have you?
Loki Ragnarok he’s not a zombie, it’s just a waste of ammo lol
There's actually a third miscellaneous option. If you side with the Railroad you can actually tell Desdemona about Acadia. I won't spoil it but it is a option.
Or contact the brotherhood if you side with them
33:30 Calm down man! he is already dead!
@@xaryous3530 lol
7:25 i can't take this seriously with cassie just smiling in the background
She looks drunk or high
45:00
Small Bertha, when she grows up, will find the the truth on here own. The stories she will find interesting will make a good novel for the islands inhabitants
@@loraelstad8941 I agree
I still remember how when i finished this dlc with the "peaceful" ending i realized that i did exactly what i destroyed the institute for.
Honestly, I had the same feeling by the end. I tried to justify it, but it left a poor taste and I refused to touch Far Harbor again for a year or two. I think Ox is the reason I decided to go back to the dlc. I like it a lot more now thanks to the raw emotions it creates.
No, you did it because it was necessary, to keep peace and avoid total genocide. İnstitute had other reasons
@@Patricia-kr5uu İ usually destroy children of atom, but this is not bad, too. Tectus deserved it, even of he gets killed)
I was fully aware of it,
The choices were
Mass homicide
Fratricide
Or hypocrisy
All terrible choices, chose the 2nd option low death numbers, and little moral compromise .
I have little forgiveness for bodysnatcher tactics.
Honestly the worst part was that I couldn’t replace Allen lee with a more likeable synth version.
Can we talk about 12:00. She shot him not even a second after kneeling like no hesitation lol. CHILL THE HECK OUT MITCH!
Blaine Dissinger I thought there’s going to be a formal execution, Walk to the edge or something. But nope, execute right they are and a speech of good and dark side. Not even a burial.
Fallout 5, we need to look out for an old man named "Martin".
"DEEMUH?! YOU TRAYTERUS!"
Oh I remember how my evil Institute build had deal with all the dlc: Acadia reclaimed by Institute and then no witnesses... Division, Far Harbor and all the robots underground destroyed and Kasumi died in Acadia
The Island was cleared by human, synth or robot presence
Just throwing my favorite suspender wielding lore master some love. Keep up the amazing work Oxhorn; you've got a lifetime viewer in me.
sometimes i can't trust him. Dad says never trust a man that wears a belt and suspenders, can't even trust his own pants.
@@thelvadam2375 Someone call Jordan Peele!
High Confessor Tektus is immune to radiation. Synths are not. If a suddenly peaceful Tektus were to lose his immunity at the same time, how would that go over with the Zealots?
Also synths dont age... So i give all those infiltrator synths round about 10 to 20 years 🙄🙄
David Kampmann they do if programmed too like Paladin Danse and Mayor McDonough.
I followed DIMA to Far Harbor yelling, “SHAME! SHAME!”
Well I kinda liked DiMA, but that is pretty funny. (lol) 😀
Avery: "don't let the worst of use define us." Then why is Allen still alive? He committed cold blooded murder, yet he gets a pass.
Cuz he sells kick-ass guns xD
I like Allan Lee. He hates the same groups as I do
Wasn't that person trying to kill the citizens of Far Harbor by sabotaging the fog condensers.
On one of my dozens of Far Harbor play throughs, I saved and killed Allan Lee. It was easy, he only talks a big game. A blowhard, and those kinds always fall down easily. Unfortunately the rest of the hull (its not a town, its a hull) attacks. So I killed them all. Then restored my save and just whistled to myself while Allan Lee acted like the asshole he is.
10 months late, but those laws may only apply if you kill someone from Far Harbor, that is, if you kill someone from Acadia or the CoA, the people of Far Harbor will not do anything to you, even if Allan killed him in Far Harbor, he was not an inhabitant of their community
DiMA sends his regards
I love the part at 8:48 where that one random guy shows up behind Allen. LOL He's late to ALL the meetings I bet.
This episode gave me an idea for a shirt design that I'd love to see in your shop... It's like your shirt that says "Now I am become death", but instead of Nick, it's the Sole Survivor and DiMA in the foreground, with an ominous image of the Nucleus in the background, and below them it says "Look upon our works ye mighty, and weep". (Using the quote from the poem "Ozymandias" to reference what you potentially could have done to Tektus to create peace. (By that, I mean replacing him with a synth))
Just an idea, I'd love to see it made though.
After watching those amazing streams, this is some excellent Lore till he next one. Thanks Ox!
29:48
Tektus: "Don't mind my friends."
Valentine, at the workbench: "Don't mind me."
I just wanted to thank you for continuing fallout 4 content. This is my favorite (and my first) fallout game. Since I am now working from home, I simply put on my fallout 4 playlists and get my work done. Thank you for making this crazy world a bit better and sane.
Tekus when hes alone with oxhorn
Oxhorn- dima sends his regards
Tekus- (gets over 50 shots in him)
Nick- 😶😓
Can you do a "all the loot" type of video at the end?
Yes
He has for literally every other series he's done, why not now?
Hey Oxhorn, I’m curious about something. You’ve shown us all the different endgame paths for the Far Harbor storyline, but what I’d like to know is which path(s) did your main characters take? Did they all pick the same one or did it depend on the personalities of each character?
Ive never been a huge fallout fan but goddamn this man has a way of storytelling ive been binge watching alot of your series
I love how you just mag dump into his corpse
Keep up the great work, you’re channel is one that I really care about. Stay healthy and keep killing the game 🤟
Another great Oxhorn video. Loving the series on far harbor
I like how Valentine is so cool and calm....
You can also inform the Railroad of Acadia
I like how I did it. Nuked the children, convinced Kasumi to go home, and recalled all the synths in Acadia with the institute.
I realized Oxhorn had to play through far Harbor twice for this series. That’s pure dedication
I had No Idea there was a way to see DiMA in Far Harbor! Nor that Tektus could be replaced!! (Still watching the video)🤯 great work and story as always Ox!
I love this line from far harbor
10:24
"Dima sends his regards" Is just badass
This took me hours in different possibilities yup years ago. Thank you for all the time you took and what not
In my game, DiMA paid for his crime, I killed the CoA before I made it to Acadia (those rat bastards can't be trusted to not destroy Far Harbor), and Kasumi went hone where she belongs.
Good job on the series ox!
Ox is a pillar of the entire gaming community
fyi the synth who replaced Tektus was Cole. He's also fully aware of it as well.
7:30, Cassie Dalton is just standing there smiling.
33:27
"Keep the change, ya filthy animal!"
This DLC was great. I wasn't too happy with the main story, but this DLC brought back that bittersweet feeling of mucking through everyone's choices and clashing with the convictions of factions that I hadn't felt since New Vegas. I ended up Nuking the children of Atom, after hearing that information, and I brought DiMa to justice. Sure I didn't get much in the way for items for that, but I wasn't really in it for the items, I just wanted to see everything to the end, and hang out with valentine.
Thank you for keeping our spirits up by continuing to post content :-) let's all get through this together keep our spirits up and be kind to one another
Hey Oxhorn, my fiancé and I really enjoy watching your videos, and with being quarantined I have been replaying all the fallouts. Just starting Fallout 3 again, we would love it if you did a video on Minefield - explained (with your thoughts and theories, of the location, possibly what happened when the bombs fell, the time after, and the old lonely sniper Arkansas)
Dima is one of the most intelligent and passionate/compassionate beings in the entire game and yet according to the institute he is nothing more than a lowly robot, just scraps. A throw-away. Limited in capacity and mindless. Dima is absolutely mind blowing to me. It’s very clear that he is a Christ-like figure.
I love the music in the opening
33:30 " If we choose any of these....."
*Says Oxhorn calmly*
Hail Small Bertha. First of her name. Mother of the Harbor. Divider of Atom. Memory of Arcadia.
Awww, another series coming close to an end
There're Mechanist and Nuka World yet.
@@chengkuoklee5734 yeah but those DLCs suck this one was the best in Fallout 4
Ox is going to make a vid about telling BOS about Acadia. He says near the end.
@@chengkuoklee5734 he's already gone through Nuka-world
cheng kuok Lee he already did Automatron and Nuka world so....
Love your vids, Ox!
As someone who still questions their faith to this day it is interesting to think about what Confessor Martin went through. Fat existential nihilism is a difficult thing to get through with your self still intact, if you let it it could turn you into a monster.
33:37 - Fun fact, you don't have to pick up the body. You can just walk over to the burial site and activate it.
Soul Survivor: "DiMA sends his regards!"
Tektus: "I know DiMA is involved, but I need proof."
Dima is like the institute but different in someway but nick is like the sole survivor in my view
33:24 - 33:32
There’s overkill, and then there’s… whatever the heck this was.
the Mother of the Fog also asks for Peace on the Island.
19:36
That's chief aramaki I knew I recognized that voice
The way Ox mutilated Tektus makes me feel like he really doesn't like the children of atom lol
Let’s go! Another video! Keep up the good work!
I really wish we could have somehow made confessor Cromwell into a synth.
33:26 why didn’t your magazine go down? Overseers Gaurdean isn’t never ending.
My favorite thing about Far Harbor is the sarcastic options
11:14 -- click over and over. Oh so satisfying. :)
I have been waiting thx ox your the best✌️
How does DiMA make these substitute synths?
This quest is a bug to me..when I told dima to confront his crime at the people of far harbour he didn’t appear in far harbour same with captain Avery so until now every time I go back to far harbour all of them were just standing there
19:20 Oh. My. GOD! Martin is Danzo. :O
Loved it keep it up
Your the most kind and wonderful person I love your vids 🙂👌
Holy shit, Allen is Illidan.
1:40 Its called willful ignorance for a reason
XD FUCK! Nick, that was BRUTAL!
Well since I went into the Nucleus on my second play thru and massacred the lot of them this is a moot point. Now I cannot figure out how to end them once and for all without going thru Dima's memories quest which is really aggravating for me. Well done Oxhorn.
Dima " how the world should be , live together as equals" ?? by replacing people with machines, ? riiiight ! , Ah No! no no and no
Have you done a lore video about the pipboy? What kind of power it runs on and so on? I think it would be a pretty interesting video.
"Everytime you open your damned mouth Allen, the whole town suffers. Shut up."
7:33 CASSIE HAPPY
Hey, unless I totally missed the episode, i think you forgot to visit Erickson!
It would have been a cool thing to have monsters occasionally attack far harbor and you would have a miscellaneous quest to defend it or something
I appreciate how much effort and time he puts into his videos.
I really like the music you put to this! Where did you get it from? What's it called??
PC: You killed someone, you have to answer for that.
Me: Thinks of 100+ raiders I've killed... Yeah, they tried to kill me. But they we're still human has well.
Me has PC: Yeah, like I'm one to talk... So, judging you isn't my place. So about this idea of yours DiMa?
Only thing I feel the choice to turn Dima in lacks is that if you fail to convince far harbor not to attack arcadia you should have the option to turn on far harbor by telling them they will have to go through you first. This would update the quest to "eliminate the citizens of far harbor" resulting in the whole town turning hostile. Once they are all dead, Dima survives and chastises you for talking him into going saying something like this was exactly what he was afraid of. You can then choose to execute Dima yourself for his crime or let him go back to arcadia. Afterwards you can talk to the children of atom and they will reward you the same as if you had used the kill switch. Not sure I or many players would intentionally choose this option but I feel it should be there just because there isn't any reason you wouldn't be able to save arcadia by wiping out far harbor first in that situation.
Oxhorn you are my hero..just wanted to let you know
I know you already have one, but will there be an updated loot of Far Harbor video? One similar to the ones you hav done for your other DLCs.
Great video! If you agree to help DiMA replace Tektus and let him get started on turning Cole into Tektus and then go blow up the Nucleus instead and then go back to DiMA, he'll be angry at you 1) because he just turned Cole into Tektus for no good reason now and 2) because you just murdered all the Children of Atom.
I really like your videos. Got me thinking about how to formulate my gaming channel
Thanks a lot !!!!!
DiMA had an amazing voice actor. DiMA is so underrated as a character. He only has peace in mind. Hes not bad he's just misguided
Hey, oxhorn i've got a question for you. In fallout 4 there is the special sword general chao's revange, but i just don't understand something, the sword sometimes got 36 damage, 45, 35, 71, and i even saw a vague picture where it had 105 damage, has this something do to with wo you help, wolfgang or trudy, do you have to be a certen level for higher damage or do you maybe need to have good perks??? you can find this by drumlin dinner.
