Too bad Bethesda didn't plan out everything with the Fall Harbor dlc. With the Brotherhood of Steel and the Institute, there should've been a permanent presence remaining on Acadia. One to study the technology and the other to monitor island activity. And with the Institute, Dima and the reclaimed synths should've been added inside the SRB holding cells. With the Railroad, it is what you'd expect. Them finding out about Acadia and turning it another safehouse for Commonwealth synths.
That was interesting to see. I've always only informed the Railroad about Acadia's existence since my Sole Survivor supports the Railroad kinda on the side whilst being a full-time General of the Minutemen and they don't really have a stake on the Island. Since my SS is all about helping the common humanity she sides with the people of Far Harbour. She sees to it that DiMA faces justice for his crimes regarding Avery and brings Division to the Children of Atom. So it was interesting watching how turning Acadia into the Brotherhood and Institute turned out even if I was disappointed at the lack of afterthought they gave. It'd have been nice to see the recaptured Acadian Synths being held in those SRB holding cells for say two weeks ingame then seeing them mopping the Institute's floors ect. And seeing pieces of DiMA laid out in Advanced Systems or Robotics for the rest of the game.
I wish there was a Minutemen mission to this. This way it could coincide with the Railroad and thus 2 factions visit, rather than just giving them more settlements on the side.
The main faction endings are so thin i always assumed it was a last second addition to even make it possible. Sad because they really could have done alot with the different factions interacting.
Last time I turned up there I was director of the Institute. I kept my mouth shut about them because we can make a bunch of new ones in the time it would take to get them back and those guys are being helpful to the people of Far Harbor. This is what I find frustrating about Bethesda working on Fallout (I know it's their IP). They produce awesome story lines for what people would usually do in the game. However, for reasons apparently like additional costs and resources, they seem to abandon important parts without at least cleaning things up. If they didn't want an Institute part in Far Harbor that's fine, but don't just leave it in a "finished product" without either completing that piece or removing the whole arc in its entirety.
@Commie whacker nuka-world complete change the game of fallout 4 for me.. Only gun i need is the thirst Zapper. I used the "raiders" to help the commonwealth, i never fired a shot and only paid the settlers for help ..all my settlements under "raider rule" stayed at least 90% happy. All have massive food, water, great housing, automatrons doing all the work while settlers just live their lives, and operators protection for the settlements. then uses the pack as road protection. Also i join the Institute so later i get Synth protection for roads as well. then i send custom heavy attack Automatrons out as supply caravans. My commonwealth is so safe you rarely get attacked, and if you get attacked there is always help near by....oh and no settlement need my help ever. with operator protection, the pack cleaning up the streets and wilderness , the Synths running protected road blocks and walking the commonwealth. then you add the Automatron heavy caravans wiping out raiders, animals,ghouls..etc.. the People of the commonwealth can live in peace and safety while having inf. food, water, and a labor free life.
@Commie whacker i use them to help the settlers ..my settlers are enslaved and 90%+ happy..which beats them being free and 30% or less happy. Because being "enslaved" means clean water, New Vault style homes, food grown and picked by robots, power, and armed protection. what is funny is do all that never fire a shot, only pay settlements for help, get them to 90% happy with more food, power, and water, then they can ever use.then free Preston for the museum.. Preston will get back and loses his mind..you didn't think i would find out what you was doing..it's like Preston is mad about you helping the commonwealth. How dare you make people lives better, safer, and happy without the minutemen. lol Preston looks like a total nut job. lol

One to study the technology and the other to monitor island activity. And with the Institute, Dima and the reclaimed synths should've been added inside the SRB holding cells.
With the Railroad, it is what you'd expect. Them finding out about Acadia and turning it another safehouse for Commonwealth synths.
Me: “I hope I don’t disappoint”
My dad: “hate to bursting your bubble pal, but I’m already disappointed”

i literally just watched that part of the video as I read your comment
@@quasar5711 not the only one
I like how Ox pronounces "Dr. Moseley" correct at first, then adds an "R" into it later ("Dr. Morsely").
It’s so annoying! WHY!?
Rebecca Mumford as sadistic as it sounds, I agree
I wish there was a Minutemen mission to this. This way it could coincide with the Railroad and thus 2 factions visit, rather than just giving them more settlements on the side.
Well the BOS did say they'd wait until you were on-site before they launches their attack. You can't be on the Vertibird and get on-site first
CADIA STANDS! *I hope atleast 1 person gets my joke*
Shadow Wolf Nice.
Guilliman will save us!
*Vulcan lives!*
STOMP STOMP
Shadow Wolf FOR THE EMPEROR
The planet broke before the Guard did.
The main faction endings are so thin i always assumed it was a last second addition to even make it possible. Sad because they really could have done alot with the different factions interacting.
Mose-ley, as in Oswald Moseley.
Wasnt he the Leader of the Facists before ww2 in Britain?
*E N G L A N D L I V E S*
Kells sound like a synth... The VA is pulling out his Tuvok card!
Last time I turned up there I was director of the Institute. I kept my mouth shut about them because we can make a bunch of new ones in the time it would take to get them back and those guys are being helpful to the people of Far Harbor.
Shame the dialogue didn't change from "I'm in the Institute" to "I run the Institute" or "I run the Institute and you don't need to worry about us"
oxhorn ive come to say thank u for posting all this amazing fallout 4 content it has gotten me thru some hard times and i am very grateful
I love this series I love oxhorn such a underated youtuber deserves 25 million more subs tbh I love your content keep going you make fallout 4 is much more exciting and intriguing
26:32 nick has perfect comedy timing
The courser that came to acadia was there on his own. just following the trail, not deployed specifically.
This series has been amazing. Ive loved watching it. Have started a new playthrough because of it. Thank you Ox.
Woaaahhh I just thought of something. Since synths are made of human dna, what if two synths mate, would it make a human or a synth
Who knows...
Since you can sleep with Magnolia I'm sure that synths can have sex. Now the real question is, does it do anything?
Well synths are sterile if I remember correctly. So I don't think we could ever know for sure.
Honestly I feel like the ending of these was rushed would have been nice to have had more BOS soldiers assaulting Acadia same for Institute Synths and also I feel that the ending leaves wishing a proper closing since there is a lot of stuff missing once you are done
I’ve gotta be honest, the Institute taking Acadia made me want to cry. What an awful thing to do to the synths.
As director of the Institute I felt it was my duty to bring these synths back to there masters even by force.
Really appreciate that you're still doing these videos, Ox!

Ad victoriam oxhorn!
This just reminds me of how much I dislike kells regardless of faction affiliation.
Same here. The guy is a zealot and a douche.
The only thing I liked about the guy is that Tuvok from Star Trek Voyager voiced him...
@@danielhamby9448 Wow you're right! I can't believe I didn't realise!
BlackTearDrop yep, real name is Tim Russ...
BlackTearDrop the whole game i kept wondering why he sounded so damn familiar, then watched an episode of Voyager and I realized
It's good to hear your voice again my good sir. It's got a calming effect to me.
Found your videos when I was looking into vault lore stuff recently (yay quarantine lols), love all of it, so much stuff I didn't come across playing the crap out of Fallout everything that I would never have found out otherwise like Boxer whom I have never seen when I played...unless I stumbled into it in the future on a random playthrough (which I doubt I would have managed).
Love your delivery of lines as well, you have a great voice for this stuff.
I guess the best option is the Brotherhood giving Acadia a dose of old-world freedom.
Listening to you changes the voice in my head into your voice.. It seems that my life now is being narrated by you...
Same
Such a huge fan of all of your lore videos. I can see that you put a lot of time and dedication into them. Keep it up man, love it!
I just want to say a personal thank you to you Oxhorn, your videos are what’re getting me through this difficult time
Just realized William Moseley is voiced by Crispin Freeman
Miwi it’s the same voice actor as Vega in DOOM right?
@@lukeunruh7102 Kevin Schon voiced Vega in DOOM

T-shirt idea if you want to use it......."No matter what video game you play, It's always more fun, with a shotgun."
Maybe include a few game names or pictures "DOOM FALLOUT ALIENS RED DEAD REDEMPTION"
TheGeronimojack Pure Genius!! 💯
I just wanna say I’ve watched an unhealthy amount of your fallout videos, you do a great job making them! I even listen to all the stories you go through to fall asleep almost every night 😂 never stop what you do, your videos are perfect man!
Thank you Ox, best way to spend my Sunday mornings! And thank you to your members and Patreon supporters as well! I'm not in a place to donate financially consistently, But I am now the proud owner of 2 of your shirts! My utmost gratitude to your creativity, Ox and to those generous people helping behind the scenes😄
This is what I find frustrating about Bethesda working on Fallout (I know it's their IP). They produce awesome story lines for what people would usually do in the game. However, for reasons apparently like additional costs and resources, they seem to abandon important parts without at least cleaning things up. If they didn't want an Institute part in Far Harbor that's fine, but don't just leave it in a "finished product" without either completing that piece or removing the whole arc in its entirety.
get far harbor to kill the synths, blow up the sub, then turn off the power to far harbor...lol
xD Ima have to do that on my raider play through
@Casey C lol i can get plenty ..my weapons come from Nuka-World..lol
How dare you make people lives better, safer, and happy without the minutemen. lol Preston looks like a total nut job. lol
YES, I’ve been waiting for this, never invaded myself in any of my playthroughs, thanks ox
one thing that really grinds my gear in the railroad hq is the tinkering and banging noise from tinker tom, especially when i am chatting with others. dude stop banging! 😂
Thank you also known for keeping our spirits up in these odd odd times. I hope that everything is going well with you and your family. And to everyone who sees this I hope the same for you :-)
Thanks Kira!😃
Same to you
hey oxhorn, I've had a quite puzzling encounter today. I don't remember where (i think near usaf base Olivia), but two guys were arguing over bread. later I've seen the same guy while heading north from the uss constitution, now labeled as farmer. could you investigate?
Obese Boy
He covered this in the random encounter series.
these intros are something else...
also as always amazing work Oxhorn!
Kasumi is in the boathouse when you complete forbidden knowledge
Stay indoors people don’t go goofing around outside stay safe
22:30 Lmao, Nick wants to steal the show. He’s not impressed with the Brotherhood, and Oxhorn ogling the Power Armor.
Omg that quest bug for the institute did the same thing to me it drove me nuts! After replaying it over and over it finally worked for me. I didn't have any mods installed at the time either.
Love your Far Harbor intro Oxhorn, it's got a real 80s vibe to it
Read as if its April 1st.
A quest not completing? Bethesda would never release a game with bugs in it....
If Kasumi is a synth, who's mind was wiped by the Railroad why was she a replacement to the real Kasumi? The Railroad doesn't replace real people, they make up new identities from scratch.
He's explored her remains in another episode, she's human.
Kasumi is actually human
She's humna i checked it myself, she is just like one of those confused teens who thinks they are gay but discovers they are not gay at all when its time to choke on the meat.
@@moisesangel1061 I know but Oxhorn said the only way to know is by killing her.
I can't believe this series is almost over already! I'll be sad to leave Far Harbor, but also excited about what realm of Fallout lore Ox is going to investigate next!
So glad you did this because my institute run glitched and there is no scientist to talk to after it's all over
Who are the two people how clicked dislike?
I bet it’s the people who didn’t like the 38.4 second intro.
everyone here like “first” “second” and i’m just happy to have some amazing content to watch?
After a hard week's work, Sunday cartoons to brighten the day
@24:07, the Veritbird's entire weight is resting on the little ladder. LOL
Well yeah BOS did invade the Commonwealth and yeah Synth rights are complicated. Great video
Synth rights don’t seem that complicated to me. If they’re not actively harming people then no problems. If a Gabriel is trying to kill you then defend yourself.
how does valentine still like you?
the intro just fits so well i LOVE IT
The one mission that I still have active to this day is the Brotherhood wipes Arcadia mission. Was always curious how it worked out. Curiosity quelled, hat's off sir!
Dima : i saw u coming
Insititue
Dina: didn't see them coming
BOS: flys in chopper
Dima: still blind
Railroad
Dima : i dnt like them
Boxer : sitting on the couch enjoying coffee
😂🤣😂🤣😂
Problem with a quest in Fallout? Bethesda: It just works.
funny, original joke
There was cut content where you could inform Preston. "Another settlement needs our help? Here, I'll mark it on your mark."
22:09 the twins reminded me of an episode of Buffy vampire slayer 🤣🤣
Dima: Fine, we'll fight for this.
BoS: Umm alright soldiers lets fight.
Dima: *goes against 300 BoS soldiers*
Sole Survivor: Watches lasers fly
Also Survivor: *Watches Dima die*
bethesda didnt really try with these quests and i sont get why the institute dont reclaim nick valentine or the brotherhood dont destroy him 🤷🏽♂️
Jack Roberts //Yup...
Probably because no one would pick those factions if they did that.
Finally I've been waiting for these since the start
@Oxhorn Ox in this time of global crisis you sir have been a rock. I really just wanted to say thank you for what you do. My self and many of your fans really appreciate the hard work and effort that you put in for the sake of entertainment!! Not to be cliche but as Three Dog says " Keep fighting the Good Fight!"
Arcadia is the perfect example as to why synths can't be trusted even without the institute.
Sir yes sir
the lack of any sort of special dialogues or rewards is due to bethesda over relying on interns and a very crappy writer who likes the KISS method of writing.(keep it simple stupid) has nothing to do with bethesda avoiding politics, or making players feel bad. it's just a lazy writer and amateur mission designers.
That intro should've been the Far Harbor launch trailer.
15:10 this scene reminded me of the scene from Terminator 1 when reese is describing the future and that one terminator walks in their base...
Wow Bethesda really just gave up on this DLC like 90% of the way in. These endings are so sloppy.
Its really good that you explain everything in great detail
Thank you
I love Captain Larsen he's one of my favorite characters for the DLC but it's so hard it pick one.
i agree he’s such a chad
That picture of all the characters standing in front of the welcome to far harbor reminds me of the welcome to shell beach sign.
That Institute guy is really chill and nice
while killing and kidnapping people
If I had a name in the railroad, it would be “Skidmark”
Love your vids Oxhorn, keep up the good work!
I love your intros, really professional.
