      @@30DayReviews Well, since I cleaned everything breakable in my bathroom, it would have to be the stainless steel one, despite of its handle.

      I think even with the handle issue it would be a great addition to any shaving kit

      @@30DayReviews Mine is the TRBOWL by Timeless Razor. I like the durability, the ergonomic and the design. Plus, you can make lather easily.

    I fixed the handle problem with self adhering silicone tape. Now its perfect and grippy

    There is also a Home Depot fix for the handle's slipperiness 😉

    I have the stainless. The handle is a bit small in diameter. I remedied that! I took some self adhering rubber tape, wrapped a layer around it and boom...fixed. It also protects my fingers from the heat that builds. Another tip...after pouring hot water into the scuttle...keep in mind, steam rises! When I first got it, putting the plug in right away, caused the scuttle to build pressure and send the plug into orbit. Allow to sit a few minutes...then put the plug in.

      Thanks for the info! I hope it will help others. I never had that orbiting issue! kinda sounds fun though to be honest hahaha. glad you where able to remedy the handle issue. To me however one should not have to modify a product for it to be decent.

    I got the stainless one. It does get warm quick, but it doesn't stay warm for too long. They need to make the water reservoir larger and maybe add some insulation on the exterior. Classic Edge Shaving has a ceramic scuttle that holds more water, but it's ceramic. Maybe make a review of it if possible.

    • @30DayReviews
      @30DayReviews  Před rokem +1

      the key is to prewarm it so before you shower fill it up then dump out and refill agian with hot water. this prewarms the metal so that the warm water you put inside does not have to work to warm it up and release all its heat quickly. atleast I found that it helped keep it a bit warmer for a bit longer when I did that.

      Stainless steel is a poor conductor of heat actually. If you compare to Porcelain, Ceramic, Steel, Aluminum, Copper etc, all ranges are good conductor of heat and so it's stay warm for long period of time even till 30-45minutes

    • @TheDragonshadow1231
      @TheDragonshadow1231 Před rokem +1

      That defeat the purpose of buying modern shaving scuttle to able stay warm for long period of time extend all the way till 45minutes

    I have the ceramic one and I like it, but not chipping and temperature transfer is a valid point.

      when I broke my ceramic shave bowl I barely taped it on my sink ant it almost exploded!! it was crazy! wonder if a hybrid with a mettle inside would be doable...??? the stainless gets that lather SUPER WARM!
