Would you pay the price for the shave set?
I would definitely not!
The set is questionable. There is a very small soap included, may be worth 5 bucks, with unknown quality and scent, the brush looks quite small (too small for my liking) and there is a straight razor (or shavette?) of unknown quality instead of a more popular safety razor.

Good looking scuttle, stainless steel, unbreakable ... but ... far too expensive in that kit.
And yes, you are right, the shape of the handle should be considerably improved for a better grip.
Yea, I think allot of there kits are a bit higher then they could be but allot goes into presentation. I'm hopping they will start selling more of there products as single items.
Open up the hole with a Dremel and proper attachment
but then the plug would just fall through.

No, mine is the black ceramic one.
I really like mine thought. I change it out during the warmer seasons when I shave with cold water. Then I use a larger $4 bowl from Target.
