    Sometimes when snapping the blade, the curved bits at the end cause misalignment. If you cut them w kitchen shears, you’ll fix that.

    Just tap it into place if it isn’t aligned bro. Super simple don’t make it seem impossible.

    the only bad thing about this is that when you open it and it has a blade in it, its pretty hard to take apart to change the blade without cutting yourself. Its quite annoying. But with some practice you learn to do it without losing a finger, lol!

    • @rizi
      @rizi  Před 5 lety +1

      Razvan Dragos yeah you saw me struggle doing it! But I’m sure it has to be tight so the blade does not slip!

      rizigs Yes I’m sure you’re right about it having to be tight so the blade stays nicely put in there. Although the shaving part is greats losing a finger or two until you learn to handle it when opening it to change the blade isn’t always the best situation. Great review by the way! Definitely enjoyed the video. Keep producing the great content and maybe if you have time give my videos a chance and let me know what you think!

      I recently got this and overall I like it. I agree that it's tight to open and swap blades.
      However I've heard of other razors that are the opposite -- too loose, and the blade can then slide around.
      I'd rather the razor be too tight to avoid getting cuts.

      @@dsmith1283 You're right, I've been using this lately and the razor is tight, it does not move around, which is perfect!

  • @DismontDeSire

    It is better not to break the blade, but to cut it with scissors! For the wrapped edges of the fracture don't scratch the razor, and fit snugly.

    • @rizi
      @rizi  Před rokem +1

      That is too inconvenient for me. It may scratch the inside sleeve of the shavette, but it doesn't effect the ascetic nor the fit if you break instead of snip.

    Great video man 👌❤️. People do struggle with Shavettes initially including blades insertion, exchanging and shaving. But with time it gets smooth. What would you suggest between SR1 and SRX?
    Both of these shavettes are available here in India. For now I'm practicing my shaves with a cheap yet good quality Shavette which I got for a buck from my local salon. It worked out really well and efficiently. But thinking to get it transitioned with Parker.

    • @rizi
      @rizi  Před 4 lety +4

      You won't go wrong with either choice. I would go with the SRX.
      If your cheap blade is working fine, just stick with it!

    Its a shavette not a safety razor. And i heard good things about the Parker. Im trying to use a kamisori style myself and its harder than it looks. The dovo is pretty bad and cheaply made with those inserts. You can get feather clones on aliexpress for alot cheaper. I got the kai captain clone for 14 bucks

    congratulations for your videos. I wanted to ask you for advice, I currently use a bad quality shavette and I would like to buy a professional one to use with standard razor blades. I have identified the Dovo and the Parker SRX, which do you recommend?

    • @rizi
      @rizi  Před 4 lety +1

      I actually like them both equally. I feel like it's a little bit easier to change the blades on the dovo, however both of them are really good options.
