Very interesting. Perhaps a test relic that slipped through the net of nomenclature. Ghosts are among the most badass ships in the game, a designed feature certainly appeared early in development and perhaps much used during preprod.. ?
Default Ship? maybe at some point there was a more Open Ended game start, where you weren't pushed to immediately join Constellation. man that'd be nice... I feel like the main story gets too much emphasis versus having a more developed sandbox universe. I wish they'd go more that direction.
Request for another unique ship: I recently saw someone pist that they used console commands to get the ship stolen from Hopetech at the end of the Wagonerr farm mission. Any chance you can review that one?
I started new playthroug and grab first pirate ship i encounterd as my main ship. My "Headhunter's Ghost XL" Ship - Based on "Crimson Fleet Ghost" czcams.com/video/4NmZkRGClkU/video.html
I do that too. I much prefer the Ghost/Watchdog to the Frontier. The Armstrong cockpit is so much cooler for a fighter ship than the Nova Galactic cockpit.
I bet they intended for the player to keep the watchdog that lands at the beginning of the game, then changed it to force constellation.

Nice video. I do enjoy seeing how the developers put ships together that don’t (or can’t) work.

That a hope tech ship and it’s look like the fleet Ghost ship.
It's a amalgamation of a Ghost/Watchdog I/II, visually speaking.
So isn't Watchdog IV the upgraded version of the same ship and that's why it has more engines?
I dont think so, this version has different modules. But it very well could have been. We have no way of rewllt knowing
