What is the piece, the "cover", you put in 17:05 of the video? I was looking for that thing for a long time, since I saw in Episode 18, Farewell, Big Brother, of Robotech. While Max is fighting Miriya, in 14:46 of the episode, he deploys a nozzle I don't know if that is the forw), a turbine, from the ribs or armpit of the VF-1. So, now I see it in real, I realize it was just a creative license the took while drawing.
Hi, I do not own any of the Arcadia VF-1 so I cannot comment much. However I do know that Arcadia does have sets that come together with the super parts, something that perhaps Bandai may do for their future DX releases like Max and Milia. :)
How did these valkyries stack up to a masterpiece level Transformer as far as build quality . Are they quite a bit more delicate ? Would anybody know how this figure compares to say a fans toy product ?
This transforms easier than those... and the parts stay locked better. I owned the entire MPC line and sold them. The scales better, and the pladtic better. You dont have to disassemble it... he just chose to. They transform just as easy, arguably easier than the MPCs
@@DeathbySkullfxxx I find that strange considering the mpcs are based off the original bandai. I have kitz concept two of those and I am scared I'm gonna break them. This one looks similar in how it transforms. I am sure for almost $500 the plastic is better.
@@TKae421 I didn’t know about the release date. You don’t have to be hateful about something so insignificant. Merry Christmas! Wow, nice to see you review on this piece.
Your video convinced me to buy my own VF1S Roy Fokker Edition and Super Parts! Thanks for doing this!
Glad you liked my video and I bet you are having fun with your VF-1S. If there's only 1 Macross that you can buy, it has to be the Roy 1S. :)
Just got mine and it was a blast!!!
Hi Charles,I have just ordered it,can’t wait to receive it 😍
Hope you have fun with it. I love this figure! :)
Love this 🤩🤩

@@OptimusPrimeSG me too. I prefer the Focker ones with Yellow than Hikaru with red

Супер. Аxyuтельнo
How much and where 2 buy?
@charles, how do you compare the Bandai vs Arcadia for these VF-1S ships? I think for Arcadia the super parts come bundled with the base Valkyrie?

Want Milia version.
That is the VF-1J I'm as well waiting for, just hope its comes out before 2023.
アメリカだとつい最近までマクロス放送権(?)問題があったと聞いたけど玩具は買えるのかな?

Fig is off cam most of the video…. Sad….

10 times better the a MP transformer. I have both and the VF feel solid
Will the strike super parts set for movie edition VF-1 and missile set work on this Bandai DX VF-1S?
Yes they are all compatible. :)
@@OptimusPrimeSG Thank you, I bought the movie edition super parts set but never thought before that there is tv edition.
Im just trying to figure out where you buy these.
I bought them either from online Japanese stores or through local retailers. :)
Did you ever break off the leg fin by accident? How did you repair it
I did not break it. It is foldable. :)
@@OptimusPrimeSG Thanks. Mine was off when I got mine, after studying it for 2 weeks, I figured out how to snap it back in.
It looks nice but I don't think I would enjoy transforming it. I am a mpc fan myself easy transformation.

more than a collector's model it looks like a toy ....
It's a Hasbro G1 Jetfire imitation.
Macross came out in 1982, while Transformers came out in 1984. It's the other way around, Jetfire is the imitation of VF-1.
You got it backwards, fool.

G1 Jetfire is quite literally the Takatoku mold of the 1/55 VF-1 toy, produced by Hasbro after Bandai licensed the design to them.
