Main Tips Covered:
Match Movement
High Contrast Lighting
Play with color but keep in mind your luma values
Keep shadows
Make it moody
Experiment and give yourself time to play
How to shoot the best plates - Framing composition
Keep it balanced
You can go full silhouette or show parts of the subject
Create masks to clean up areas
Match the source of lighting by keeping distance in mind.
If you have a sun in the sky, place a spotlight behind the subject where the sun is.
Use it to create transitions

Would love to see how to handle greenscreen with camera movement. Tracking points, correctly shot BG plates, the lot. It's something I've been looking into- but it's seems to be such a specialist piece of vfx

This is an awesome tutorial! But I'm having trouble with the masks. I don't think AE is letting me add any since I used the roto brush on my subject. Do you know any other way I could apply masks?

Can't find linear colour key in my effect section in premier pro.

Hey there, I'm trying to do this effect but I'm having some issues.
When I put the Linear Color Key over my clip the "preview" comes up automatically in blue, also it seems to effect how my own fire background looks. Also how is your background masked into your face automatically? Mine is acting as its own background layer instead of merging inside the first image

Hey there bro... piece of advice... just in the title of your video... You should mention what level of design your working on, beginner, advanced...etc... as for a beginner, there was a lot of little things in there you did, that ...went unexplained and kinda left me in the deep end... but anyways... great vid overall... just maybe not for me just as yet.... just my 2cents... have a great day.
