Cooking competition - need your votes! A Tasty Thursday video

Spicing things up this week with a competition. Give them each $10 and a mission: create an appetizer. Time? 30 minutes (just enough time for a sweat session.) Who will win? I need your help to decide!

Cheesy bread:
Baguette
Rosemary and butter
Combination of mozzarella and parmesan cheeses
1. Split baguette, then spread with a mixture of the butter and rosemary.
2. Sprinkle with the cheeses.
3. Bake/roast at 350 for 15 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
Fruit volcano:
Pineapple
assorted other fruit, including mango, pomegranate seeds, and oranges
1. Core pineapple and remove the peel.
2. Cut rings then stack them back together, for easy serving.
3. Fill core area with fruit, topping with pomegranate seeds for color and presentation
4. Decorate the plate with slices of orange and mango, with some pom seeds to pop the color.
Roman Platter
Baguette
Apples and grapes
almonds
Assorted cheeses (MUST include Vermont extra sharp cheddar!)
1. Slice baguette and apples. Can create croutons if you wish.
2. Arrange bread, cheese, and fruit in a decorative pattern on the platter. Top with almonds.
3. Enjoy!

Such a creative Family! Gee....I'm hard pressed to choose. I love bread and cheese. I love fresh fruit. Hmmmm.... I think I'm going with your son's Roman Platter. It has all my favs.
