Hey JT awesome video, I must say the time and effort put into it was greatly appreciated. Wanted to ask where you source your decomp cables? I have a 1982 200 that has everything for the pull starter except the decomp cable and boot. You wouldn’t happen to have an old one laying around would you?
Somebody took mine apart before I bought it it worked but the parts for the decomp valve to hook to the pull starter are totally gone. An I run it without that hooked up, it worked fine just the original cord finally broke
What do I do if my dogs aren't engaging? I can't figure out why they won't. I've had it torn apart a bunch of times and it seems all the parts are in there
I'm glad it's not just me having to rotate that decomp spring... except I did it over, and over...

I would say yes you just have to pull harder since the decompression is not hooked up.
I have a 1984 Honda big red 200es what bolt size is the pull starter bolts

Go to Partzilla and look at the OEM parts section and you will get to a breakdown of the pull start. Look to see if you have everything?
