Look's Kewl! good range. might have to get one to go with the other boat you suggested. thanks for the share! stay awesome!
Thanks for watching!
Seems like a great boat, and one that could be easily modified. I love our HarborFreight wl12 which is actually a rebranded wl toys boat. These small cheap boats are a blast
They are a blast and it very well could be modified pretty easy.
@@ReadytoRunRC I put a 1060 in mine so we could run 3s. I might convert it to brushless before RC fest cause they’re having boat drag races
I agree 42 bucks is pretty darn good. I like the remote as well.
I’m not sure if Banggood was just trying to sell off its inventory and discontinue it or just trying to move product off it’s shelf but I caught it at the right time. Not a bad boat for my first brushless. Can’t wait to pop a 3S in there and let it rip.
Love the cooling system. Still a pretty fast boat.
Yeah it is fast. I should’ve known not to expect the advertised speed but I thought it would be a little faster.
for the price these are great! 😎👍
Absolutely! Thanks again for joining the live drawing. It was great to see you there!
WOW! I like that boat, especially for the price. I'm sure it has its little issues as any budget RC does, but that one has forgivable issues, and it's pretty fast.
Other than the self righting and slightly slower speed than advertised (which is the case with about 99% of the budget rc’s so I expected it) this boat was great! I stole this thing for $42.99. It’s a shame I think I got the last of what Banggood had available. I hope they bring it back.
Turtle turtle! lol Holy crap, that looks faster than my Villain IV! I used to run it on 2 trinity speed jems saphire motors powered by tekin titan and 2 2000 mha nicads. Thats cool!
🐢 Great movie. That was the first thing I thought of when I walked up on that turtle. Nice! Sounds like a cool setup for that Villain. I forgot about that boat until you just mentioned it.
Wow 42 bucks isn’t a bad price at all 👍🏾
Yeah but now they’re sold out. I saw them on Banggood yesterday for $80 but today they’re gone. Even at $80 it’s still a good deal.
This one looks sweet and this price can't be beat for $43 especially being brushless. As you said, you can't but a brushless boat for this price anywhere else. Anything brushless is tough to find under $100 much less $50. I think you are supposed to go reverse then forward to make the self-righting work. At least that's how most of the self-righting boats I have work. I think you were only pulling the trigger forward only?? Some of these newer boats have have the auto-self righting. I guess the LED installed on it really made it work a lot worse.
I hope they bring it back because as of right now it wasn’t available. I hope they aren’t discontinuing them. This boat is well worth any price under $100.
@@ReadytoRunRC agreed!!!
I was using reverse to forward at first but there was such a lag between reverse to forward it made it even worse so I tried it using less reverse and worked better. Still wasn’t the greatest but it worked.
@@ReadytoRunRC ahh ok, I couldn't tell while watching
When the GPS tracker was inside during the selfright test, it not working very good was self inflicted, due to the weight high up in the hull...
The gps was not inside when I did self righting either time I tried it.
Shifting the weight a bit more to the left should also help with selfrighting. don't over do that though...If the hull were bigger (30"+), adding a floodchamber makes selfrighting a no brainer, I have them in all my competition boats.
i have the same boat brother.i run mine on 3s and its pretty fast.i dont have a gps to test it but i would guess its going close to 30
I have some 3S batteries on order and I’ll test it out with the gps for you. 30mph would be awesome.
usually put a link that leads directly to the product on banggood.
I tried to type the product code on banggood but it only gives me the spare parts. Where can I find this motorboat?
I wanted to put a link in but there isn’t any available on Banggood and I couldn’t create an affiliate link. I found a few on eBay but I’m not an affiliate with eBay so I didn’t put a link in.
Did you ever test it with a 3s battery, very curious
I never did. I should see what it can do. I got into too many other videos and forgot about it.
@@ReadytoRunRC I did find someone on youtube that did and it will handle 3s-- it is a screamer
the gps inside is bothering it to go back up
Gps wasn’t in it when I did the self righting.
@@ReadytoRunRCya if other parts are placed or added, the balance of the boat will change
@@MH4family I know that. There is nothing added to this boat to change anything. When I did my self righting test the gps was not inside the boat.
For $40 buck, it wouldn’t break my heat to lose it to the river.
No I wont go in to get it because of water.
It would break mine because it’s such a good boat to lose.
