Wish something would be done about those, I see them all over and even been he target of such posts. I just hate the idea that someone may get caught and scammed.
I know in automotive world, I don’t use Vaseline on rubber gaskets, because over time it’ll eat the rubber. I use silicone paste. Never had a issue.
I would use dielectric grease as it has hydrophobic qualities... But probably works quite similar...
Glycerine I use for rubber on gimbals to keep it soft every 3 months
Looks to me that they have put the same Red port lights on both sides rather than having Green on the right (starboard) side. If they had spent an extra couple of cents to do it properly it would have made the boat so much easier to use in low light conditions.

If Vaseline is petroleum based… these products will degrade your rubber seal. I learned this about 45 years ago when I worked for the phone company as a lineman. When you pull underground cable it’s common to lube up the cable to make it slippery when it’s in the pipe. They were using a petroleum based lubricant. Over time, The cable’s sheath would experience accelerated deterioration when compared to cables that were hung from telephone pole to telephone pole. I have no idea if this is relevant but… I thought I’d say it.

I liked the spinning feature yet Super fast though. Those batteries are almost the 2200kv that comes with the walkera ultra fast drones..
If we have natural lakes here i would buy one .. but will look for a white colored because it’s looks exactly like sonny crockett & philip micheal’s speedy boat in Miami Vice series .. one of my best memory series aired ever ! Thanks for reminding of the chasing scenes in that series 👍🏻

Awesome to see such a great RC boat by Eachine!
It seems to be the best deal at a price of 130 USD, with the boat, reliable looking controller, two batteries and the extra accessories!
Everything works pretty nicely and the boat swims too fastly and splashes water beautifully too, not gonna lie!
The battery life is more than enough for such a low cost boat.
The Insta360 Go camera recording from it was also fantastic and funny ofcourse!
The fact that it also has the ability to bounce on water like that makes me laugh too!
Poor, standing GoPro, have suffered multiple splashes of water from the boat as it stops in style like drifting...lol

Just wanted to 2nd the advice about not using Vaseline on rubber gaskets as it can cause them to deteriorate or rot if you want to use another term better to use silicone grease

There is very little in an RC boat (less than an RC car) so simple to fix or replace.

Unfortunately, since I am the only CZcams channel that reviews every good consumer drone at all price points, I eventually run out of drones to review and I don't want to be one of those DJI DRONES only channels that keep making videos about the same drone over and over as it means the channel stays small and never grows. So, I have about 20 friends all in the RC hobby, all fly drones, and all use RC Boats, RC Cars, RC Helicopters, RC Planes, FPV Drones because honestly, no one in the hobby sticks to just one thing for very long. So I decided long ago to make the channel 80% DRONES and 20% everything else in the RC Hobby and it has made this channel large in size since I cover everyones interests.

This looks good fun but is a bit too much of a buzzing hornet for me - do you know of any craft that are more like a slow chugging work/military boat but are designed and built as well as this one is ?
Perhaps you need an RC Tugboat or Military boat. Plenty of those available.

Salt water is fine as long as you run it in fresh water after. Normally if you run a boat in salt water, you'd want a boat twice as big as this one.
But is it better than the feilun ft11 boat?? It's not,right...feilun is way faster

I got one of these and all it does is throw the shaft you might get a minute or two but then it sits there because it has thrown the shaft. Maybe I got the Friday afternoon edition.
Sounds like you got the lemon version. Probably an easy fix.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 well I used 222 loctite hopefully that will resolve that problem but now I lost the nylon spacer washer in the process lol so just waiting on that.

I had to buy the MINI 3 PRO like everyone else. The only people who have reviewed the drone are the people who got a FREE drone from DJI and have to cover all the points that DJI wants covered.
