Bought it after your last video and have fortunately had about 10 runs so far (a week at the cottage in August and a surprise visit to help Dad take out the pontoon boat and snuck in another run). I don't even run it at full power in front of our cottage, it's speedy, maneuverable, sounds good, love it.
Recommend velcro strip on the battery tray and battery (included too!), as well as taping the antennna cover (the black outer tube, mine came off when it went under accidentally and I didn't notice - Horizon's working on a replacement

Speed is fun but with monoverbility too. That's where the fun is. Awesome, like that boat best too.
Hi guys, agreed it is a pretty decent boat with nigh on flawless handling straight out of the box. Only slight problem is the price here in the UK which when released was £450, only £50 less than the Sonic Wake V2 which is much bigger runs on 6s and also self rights albeit via a different method.

Great video as usual guys... I'm surprised you guys didn't try the Volantex SR80 Pro. I was deciding between the UDI Arrow and the SR80 and settled on the SR80 since it came with metal parts and rated speed of 70km/h. Oh, I also love how your lake is always that glassy!

Hey guys god bless and much love. You can get lucky with this boat and it’s awesome. Some of the esc have issues, I have mine upgraded with spare sonic wake motor and esc so fun.
This boat is a really nice size and seems to perform really well for running on a 3S pack.

I absolutely love this boat, but those thumb screws are horrible, they cross thread so easily and tore up my fingers using them. I replaced them with standard hex screws
I see you both review Pro Boat and Horizon Hobby a lot and I totally understand because Traxxas only has three boats but they have a lot of cars and trucks. You guys do a great job and I love watching your videos. I really think that Pro Boat comes out with something new every year so it seems.

@@TheRcSaylors have you heard of ironclad ? he’s a rc boat channel and he’s the one who found out that the motor and electronics comes with is for 4s compatible with zero issue boat runs amazing for me on 4s and so much faster check out his video and maybe do one on it

@@TheRcSaylors it’s weird. It doesn’t show on the box, but if you go on the horizon sight and look up the specs for the motor and esc they are both rated up to 4s

I picked up a Heatwave wich is the other color scheme. I found it at my local hobby shop cheaper there then online. You can put a 4s in it to go faster, little longer run time and performs just as good.
Can you hop it up with a race prop and bigger batter possibly? Tell Pro Boat to make em in White and Blue that would be Super Cool! This may be my next Boat it looks Awesome!

Awdude, I just checked the black one out super NIIICE!! If I was getting one of the 2 , I'd definitely get the black one. And yeah 369 is pricey but lots of boats cost WAY more.
I'm not new to the hobby so I tend to build most of my stuff (non self righting).. or if I bought something change quite a bit 😉 ,immediately lol

I had one years ago I got from Tower that would carve like this. For the life of me I can't remember name of that boat(it was 4s and had to tape canopy on). I have the sonicwake now and I know it is much bigger but It does not carve or get up on plane fast like this. This may be the boat I buy next for my son...codeword me

I run 4s on it. No problems.
I had 5 runs on my first one. Idk if I hit a turtle but my damn hill cracked and sank lol luckily I retrieved it and horizon replaced it for me. Nothing out on the water that I could see. Water was deep too

They make something called a bait boat ,they're extremely expensive a $1000 minimum. This is why I asked .I'm looking for a more affordable alternative. I'm also no stranger to RC cars I've won several state Championships racing RC cars. throughout the years and many many many top prizes and I've been racing on road and off-road RC cars for 20 plus years. But I don't know much about RC boats because never had the need for an R c boat I have a real boat.

who wants a boat that wont flip over? Booooooooorrring!!! And it has the best "self Righting" features that will never be used. TRIPLE BOOORIN!!! Run it at 11 and try to crash it and it wont crash? Quad-Seventuple-Squared booooorrriiiing!!!! That thing is gonna need a "Water Ramp" which surprizingly are hard to make. They gotta be weighted down and most of it has to be underwater yet still float, Oh Yeah, Ya probably need a motor and steering to get it out and back in and might only cost 13million USD. I dont kno what currency they use in Kentucky, maybe frogslegs or sumpthin, but its gonna be expensive. I will only make a limited amount so tell me the dimensions ya need and the 13 Mil (Do Not send Frogs legs or spicy chicken wings)!!! LOL :) love ya peeps
