Working on it. Stripped servo and blow over in saltwater ended my day early. New esc going in this weekend.

FE I cannot get my blackjack to stop hopping thru turns . It’s great in straightaway but for oval
Runs it just bounces the entire turn . Any input ?
And wow 74 mph that is smoking fast .

The stability issues. The first problem is, "The boat isn't designed to go that fast. The default hardware, is not setup correctly. (Has nothing to do with your driving. ) THE boat needs trim tabs, to ride flat , at any speed over 40 mph. You can get a nice aftermarket set of optional fins, and tabs, from from "Off Shore electronics for about 30.00" . FIX #2 . LOSE the Stock prop. It has too lift much for that BOAT, The company went with the BJ 42 prop for both boats... NEW 24" boat. Dial it it down, to a medium lift prop, and you will lose the hopping. A CNC .440 medium lift, "#3. change the strut setup to an adjustable unit . And Toe the strut, and drop the it by four M.M. #5 If you want to run fast, and safe. Up your speed controller to a 180 AMP unit. That's the only way to run 6 S, without any issues.
At this point, I rarely even run 4S in that boat. Using a short plug, and a 100 C 3 S pack. I am getting between 32-36 MPH. And, in my opinion .... it's fast enough, for that boat.
If I have the "Need for speed, I will drop in my Traxas M-41, and hit the Go Button. and I'm hovering around 50 MPH. And that boat lays down. I'm using the .442 CNC props. And, it just works. THE New Black Jack. It's a hand-ful over 40.
Speed is great. But, speed you can't control, usually leads to busted boats. , or a capsized boat. THE new Black jack, is more of a challenge
But, I guess that's an opinion too,
      Cheers,
      Mark

Sorry for the late reply. The boat doesn’t need trim tabs. It turns fine as long as speed is kept up. Matter of fact mine was doing 65mph ovals. When you slow down it hops but it’s terrible with the stock prop. The problem is the “ski” (stuffing box) extending past the sponsons. You’ll need a stronger servo to turn at higher speeds though.
