  • The Worlds fastest TFL 41" Zonda on stock electronics 3674/ 120 amp esc's running on 6s from Banggood.com enters into the 120+mph club!! One gps got the boat at 120.7mph and 123.6mph on the other. The osd datalogger got the boat at 119mph. As I let off the throttle the rudder snagged a limb and it rolled on me. I was able to dry the other gps out and have a short video of that at the end . Huge thanks to Chris Hoffmann (dasboata) for the Awesome set of props!. Note: Both GPS devices were cleared out on camera before the start of this run. Thanks for watching! More to come!

It will do it. No reason for it not to. If you watch the Datalogger it clearly shows the boat hitting top speed way before I hit the limb that broke the nylon rudder screw that caused it to roll. No spikes in speeds it was all consistent and if you watch closely you will notice that I had already let out of the throttle and was starting to slow when it rolled. Going by the slow reading it's still an achievement that has never been done before with a zonda or any RTR boat before.

Dear Mark, I had some bad luck with the carbon Zonda I just got. One of the carbon battery trays popped loose when I was trial fitting a battery. I don’t even have it assembled yet. It looks like the factory glue didn’t stick to the shiny smooth carbon trays. What can I do? Thanks.
