    I have an issue where out of the box stock when I run it, it seems to have 1/3 power. Maybe 30mph. Throttle on new Futaba goes about 1/3 then nothing more after that. Does this sound like an esc setup issue or does prop setup literally take me from 30-113mph?

      Well, this is partially resolved! Using a new Futaba 3PV radio/receiver with my Seaking 180 ESC, and only 25% throttle. Put that in my friends buggy (different ESC) same issue. Put his Spectrum into my boat and voila! 100%. So, I went to hobby store and picked up a Spectrum 5C. Works like a charm. Guess I'll use the Futaba for a rescue boat. You keep saying RTR, but when I check your BG links they say none of the electronics are included. What am I missing?

    • @MrMad2424
      @MrMad2424  Před 3 lety +2

      Links are correct. They come with dual motors, and ESC's, Add servo and radio. You can get complete RTR if you search around some boat sites. RcBoat Biz and OSE used to stock them befoer Covid days. RTR radios are normally crappy anyways.

    Is the battery only good for one speed run?

    • @MrMad2424
      @MrMad2424  Před 2 lety

      No about 5 very long back and forth passes set up like this. I Brought it in after one pass because if I would have flipped it then the haters would have said the gps was skewed because the boat left the air and potentially sped up. So I wanted to eliminate that before they had that in their mind. LOL ! Thanks for watching.
