Damn, to me it seems like a Mavic mini, but with the features people wanted (follow me, 4k) but on a real budget. That'd probably one of the best training/entry level drones for hobby pilots that just wanna sniff into the hobby.
At last! a half way decent sub 250 drone that's not DJI and not insanely priced!
From what I can see the video looks pretty good. Always love the videos.
I would sure like to see somebody do a range test on that drone to see how far it will actually go.

It has "Panorama" in its menu. If it can stitch together 4K images for 360 views, that is quite a good feature at that price. Also it is probably light enough with prop guards to legally fly over crowds, such as weddings or parades.
Based on your recommendation, I purchased this drone. And I'm pretty impressed. Its not a Mavic 3 (which I also have), but its a nice substitute given its 1/3 the price. Ive been flyimg it for about a week and its been really good. 👍

@nicolegonzalez3781 It's a good drone with decent handling characteristics. Its cheap and has had zero issues. I'd recommend as a good beginner drone.

Surprisingly decent at that price. Looks like the camera has a good sensor. Was quite impressed with the clarity and colour science. If they could bump up the frame rate to 30, it would be a bargain I think. Thanks for braving our never ending winter...again 👍

Great job, it's pretty decent for it's price.. Good for priticing drone manuevers to risk than dji pricey drone. Anyways after 3 yrs of watching your vids I just got my 1st camera drone. a dji mini 3. More power and God bless you always.
It’s finely came from rcgoing and I love it!!! Compared to my Holy Stone HS720G the Faith Mini is a way better drone. Longer range, faster, better wind resistant and longer battery life. Plus it was cheaper with the 3 battery options vs HS720G single battery.
Forgot to mention the only thing the HS720g has better camera specs but in practice the Faith Mini looks better with image quality but the HS720G has smoother video footage.

For the price it seems to do quite well. As long as extra batteries are reasonably priced I'd say it's a big win for somebody on a tight budget or maybe they're new to the hobby and dont want to risk learning on a more expensive drone.
Not long ago a 180 dollar drone may fly decently, but the camera you got basically used components left over from the 1800's

The 15 FPS might look OK after some frame interpolation.
If I can find it for $180, I'll pick one up. This would be nice to use in situations where I wouldn't want to risk my expensive drone or just for practising tricky manoeuvres.

This looks like a great drone for the price point. Amazing how they can include so many features for that price. DJI is too expensive for me so I'll probably get one of these, especially since I'm still learning to fly FPV. Which FPV goggles is this compatible with? I have a couple of analog goggles that I use with my Pepper and a couple of other cheap drones.
That 15 fps leaves something to be desired, but overall this is a very nice drone for the money.

these "drone stores/makers" are "robbing" us with the outrageous BATTERY prices.....
Drone is OK... makers/stores need to lower the prices on batteries, and maybe they will get better sales..
Battery costing over $25US that is giving under 30minutes flight-time is way too pricey.

my drone arrived, and I am now on my third flight. Yesterday it I took it into the air, with 27 MPH gusts of wind, with over 20MPH sustained winds, it handled it pretty well, but was clearly on it's limits. The camera quality is what's to be expected in the price range. Hopefully future firmware updates may improve FPS at least with 1080p and maybe 2.7k as motion blur is a big issue with these drones, and focusing could be improved also. I have not even considered trying 4k as of yet. Hopefully the drone gets a DIY community behind it in the future, and we can start seeing DIY improvement and mods made for the drone. Overall the drone is a very good platform and is just a camera improvement away from being one of the best sub 250g drones outside of that of DJI.

Really tempted to buy this, the only thing that put's me off is the lack to spare parts in the event of a crash.
Many thanks for posting Captain; the value for money appears on the surface to be pretty damn good however when you can now buy a S/H Mavic Mini for around the same price then..............no comparison, particularly when it comes to the Video quality !! (which I thought was definitely better in 2.7K) however ah hemmm!! ; I think the original Spark 1080p puts it in the shade !!!; regardless, would be a great beginner Drone and looked very Cool !!!!!

Looks like a nice drone. Perhaps the low frame rate in 4K is a trade off for a slower processor hence no cooling fan; not that you needed a fan.
Maybe a higher end version will have a faster processor. Thanks for sharing.

I’m can’t be angry with you, you didn’t make be buy this drone, I do have free will, but wow!!!!!! After watching your video I used your links to purchase this drone, hoping you would get some kickback. I’m a fan of yours and I have a lot of respect for your reviews. We missed out on this one tho! I ordered the drone with 2extra batteries and I was not worried about 4k images (4k at 15fps, lol) but your video showed they didn’t look too bad. I just wanted a cheap drone with a decent camera that I could take to beach trip and not be crushed if it ends up with the fish. The drone and controller worked perfect, but now days we need the phone app to work. Even using over 24 different cables, I couldn’t get the app to work with my iPhone 13 Pro plus fully updated. I did some digging and saw all negative reviews about the drone not connecting to the app those were from over a year ago, total bummer. So now I’m gunna hit you up for your opinion on what u think would be a decent camera drone that I can take to beach 1 time (family vacation) but also kinda have good flight time maybe fly inside. I have no worries about laws here in USA I follow what ever I need to based on where I go. At home I’m good to fly anything. What I’m looking for is something that I won’t be crushed about when I crash it. I want to start trying some more daring things, cheaper is better in this case but maybe max of $275 USA. I emailed the company c-fly about the no good drone, no reply yet, but I have to give them a fair chance. If I get good customer service I’ll be sure to report back here, now I have 1 and 1/2 weeks to find and receive something else for the beach trip
Very odd that you could not get this drone to work with your simple iPhone. But if you want a worry free suggestion for a drone that will work, go on your used drone website and find an old DJI MINI 2. They can be had for a steal today, so if you can find one at a low price, that would be a good deal.

This what a great video review Steve. 👏🏻 I see that they’ve changed the controller and the “Ultra Light 249g” to “Lighter than 249g” 😂... Too bad that you weren’t able to get it to record at 2.7k outside on the first try but on the second try indoors/outdoors it looks pretty good. Hey, for 180 bucks it’s an ok mini. 👍🏻

Has anyone had the issue where it will stop recording videos? That is, it works fine for a while then you go to take a video and it will record for about two seconds and automatically stop. This happened to me on my 32 gig card so I tried another card I had lying around which was 8 gig and that seemed to work fine, so I formatted to 32 gig and all was good again for about four or five videos, then it would stop recording again. I Googled but there is not a whole lot of info out there on this drone or a whole lot of talk about it.
I am a newbie and discovered Steve channel just a little while ago. He's entertaining and quite the character. I didn't know what to buy but decided on the faith mini based on his video which was one of the few videos out there on this drone at the time.
If a drone or action camera, records, then stops, then records, it means it is a problem with your micro SD card. Try another brand, another speed (faster speed card), and another size, usually smaller.
Wonder what limits the frame rate. Probably a slow processor with low overall bandwidth. Not bad for the price. Nice review steve. Should start warming up now. When you moving to Florida?

I will definitely get this one when I can, unfortunately I bought the Holystone 720g for 190 but it wasn't safe ...( i tried a cheap drone before that for 40 but this one the 720g has a gimbal so I tried it and it was a disappointment it's really wild because it goes too fast the joystick is too sensitive even when I try very gentle it goes from 0 to 50 instead of 0 to 5 or 10 and the speed 2 is almost the same as regular so I thought It was something wrong , I know about the gps calibration but still I had problems with toilet bowling that's when it drift sideways in a circle besides that once it went out of control backwards and sideways so I pressed the landing but still crashed into a wall nothing happened to the propellers but still I was glad it didn't hit a car or a person I called customer service and they said they don't see or repair defective products unless you bought it on Amazon or their eBay store which I didn't know they had but anyways I wasn't going to spend 299 plus tax and shipping when it's the same price of a dji mini se , so kept flying it and the video got disconnected at 150 feet Distance so i waited for it to return and it didn't It was toilet bowling again had to walk to It and press the return button so I reset it and it worked ok but last week I was at the park and I after 15minutes it was working ok i pressed forward and spinning with the left joystick so it was making a turn and suddenly again went backwards and sideways and hit a tree the fall was big hit Avery Branch of the tree and landed upside down with motors on making high pitch noise it was embarrassing I almost hit 2 lady's walking near but they were chatting so they didn't notice the accident they thought I was a bad pilot but I was pressing forward and kept letting go and pressing again but it kept going backwards if the tree didn't stop it it would have hit a 4 floor building window and I would have been in trouble or if I hit someone I have the video I'm going to post it you can see the lady's walking and me looking back at the drone saying wtf
The sensor is likely capable of 30 FPS but the chip they are using is likely not hence the 15 or 25 FPS. Too bad they almost have a winner. Even 25 fps is such an odd number should be 24 or 30. I suspect 25 is an Asia standard. Good review. Video and picture quality looks decent. I’ve seen worse.
You got it spot on. The processor chip is very cheap quality and doesn’t have enough processing power to keep up with the Sony sensor.
Resolution looks pretty good. I wonder why the 15fps rate? Price would be right for me if they fixed that.

Wow! Amazing, 2.7K to 25fps looks very good, I did not expect that, really good features, flight time, distance and camera. It´s a too cheap drone, I don't think something as good as this will come out in years for that price.

They seem to have made changes to this drone from the review version you received. For one thing it weighs 249g, and I've found it is not great at realising it has landed, the props continue to spin for some time after it has touched down. Overall for the price it is as you said though, pretty good.
They did make the FAITH Mini 2 which I have reviewed (that is the new version)
I just ordered one. I am still concerned about the lack of parts availability, but hopefully spare parts will become available is the near future.

Well!!!!! This video ended up costing me a little over $200 to watch. I ended up picking one of these up (thru your link, so u get a kickback hopefully) took a little while to get here, a little more than 2 weeks. Now I’m charging the **3** batteries I got and I’ll have some fun. I have all the DJI drones, so buying this one was really nice because of the price. I won’t have time to fly for a few days but does anyone know how long the flight time is for 1 battery???

This couldn't have come at a better time I was just looking at this drone and the sjrc f22s. I really like the f22 I don't know about the cfly I think it will have some issues in future concerning updates. I don't know maybe or maybe not

I might but one of these cheap drones because I beat up a bit too much my air2s (it fell two time in a lake and hit churchs, tress... ). My air2s is still alive and well but on times I want to take risk I can use a cheap beater drone.

The next version they released will probably have obstacle avoidance and a way better camera, transmission signal, cooling fan, etc.

Seems like Chinese drone tech is catching up! 2 things supprised me was how they managed to put a 3 axis gimbal and brushless motors for all under 250g and how the controller connects to the phone
