Hey ya'll! Today on my channel we are reacting to some RUDE influencers and celebrities that got exposed on TikTok! What do Tana Mongeau, Selena Gomez and Hailey Bieber have in common? They were all called out on TikTok for being rude by waitresses and waiters. Before TikTok, this kind of behavior went unchecked, but now everyone is going to know exactly which celebrities have let fame go to their heads and which ones are still humble. Enjoy :)

When Taylor Swifts first released her first album, I became obsessed with her music. I was in foster care at that time, and they trying to get me adopted. I went on a news segment called adopt 8 and they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I said singer. They asked me my favorite artist, I said Taylor Swift. They asked me if I would sing my favorite song of hers. I did, and a few weeks later I was given a signed album with a note from her. I WILL FOREVER LOVE HER.

"She's a little stand-offish and I feel like she should be nicer to her fans."
As a fan, this is what you're owed:
Stephen King said it best. Something like, "Let my books be our relationship." Just because we enjoy something doesn't mean that person owes us something. If you've spent thousands of dollars on albums, shows, shirts, good for you. Was that charity? Or did you get something for your money? Exactly. Similarly, a lot of people feel like youtubers should be responding to them. They don't owe it to you to ever look at the comments, tbpfh. They're benefitting from you watching, and you're getting entertainment out of it. Expecting them to fall all over themselves to show you how grateful they are over what is, flat-out, a business transaction is entitlement.

When “normal” people act rude and entitled, everyone dislikes them, but if it’s a celebrity it’s fine because you’re not paying them to be nice to you? Nah, I expect everyone to just have the bare minimum respect for other people around them and if you’re just going to be openly rude, especially if I’m supposed to be a fan of yours, I will no longer like you because that’s a standard I hold everyone to. I waited on a table for Benjamin Bratt at a restaurant in Brisbane, Australia once. I was polite, and apart from saying, "I love your work," I respectfully treated him like every other customer. He appreciated the 'normality' so much, that after the meal he said he had a great time, and he took a group photo with the staff and we talked *Demolition Man* lines and *Law & Order* impersonations for about ten minutes! The fact that the first girl has met so many big celebrities means she is somebody who stands and waits outside places purely to meet celebrities and therefore already idolises them/has high expectations. She is still a literal stranger to Lili Reinhart so its bizarre to rate her 4/10 for being "a little standoffish". Also Taylor Swift is so busy and has a huge team around her, you don't know if she was told she couldn't go back or if something else came up. These are very busy people. I do find the whole going online thing to slag them off bizarre. Yes if they treated you or somebody you know awfully and made a huge scene somewhere but not if you followed them around (already weird) and then didn't like their response to that.

I can't lie, the Taylor Swift story was a pretty lousy reason for her to call her rude. God forbid someone be busy at an event, get overwhelmed and forget about a 5 second interaction with a stranger. Also Lily has spoken publicly about having anxiety/her mental health, maybe she was overstimulated and needed a break. While some people obviously are foul to their fans, sometimes the fans are the issue. Why would someone want a photo taken when you know its going to get posted, everyone will see it and you'll end up ambushed? Personally, I would never take photos, but be down to chat, time permitted. Last thing, then rant over...artists (actors, musicians, etc.) don't owe you shit. The second they finished their performance, their obligation to the contract holder was done. You already got all you deserved when you watched their art and got to be entertained. People don't owe you their safety, sanity, privacy or anything else. Actors are successful because they worked their ass off to get cast, not because you were a fan.

I can not stand this “rating celebs I've met”. They are forcing on them the pressure to always be willing to say hi, take a picture, chat with them, or even go with whatever thing they wish them to do.
People need to understand that they don't “owe” their fans what they've accomplished. Supposedly you, as a fan, enjoy whatever they do to entertain you. Whatever action you take to support them monetary is your appreciation for what they do and not a compensation for buying you any right over them.
At the same time, as an artist/celeb you don't owe your fans, but bad personalities or actions are just going to make you lose what you've obtained through your art/talent.
So no, they don't need to be smiling all the time. Nor do they have to be willing to take a picture with you just because you ask for it. Just as you may have an awful day, just as you may suffer depression, anxiety or whatever type of pain (for example cramps) SO CAN THEY. The difference is that you are not famous and nobody is talking shit behind your back on the internet because the day you felt like crap you didn't smile on a picture.

Honestly, i've never understood the mentality lots of people have, that celebs HAVE to take pics or give autographs during their personal time (at a restaurant, in a club, on the street). That's not part of their job. Their job is acting, singing, modeling and also promoting their projects. I understand if you meet them at a convention/concert meet & greet etc, where they're actually working. But no matter what, they're just people doing a job they love and that other people get to watch/listen and love as well. Nobody's entitled to get private info about their lives/relationships or pics every time you see them.. Wouldn't do half of those things to a non-famous stranger.

Taylor seems really nice in my opinion and i’m not even her fan. Because fans tend to get really invasive with celebs and not often respecting their space. And often celebrities are really busy and tired because of a tight schedule which can be the reason Taylor didn’t have time to meet the fan.
About Noah centineo. You know how you get certain vibes from someone and that’s enough to push you away from them? That’s how i feel about Noah. I’ve watched his acting in TATBILB and the fosters and never liked him because even through his acting i got weird and arrogant vibes from him.

I feel like Lindsay Lohan is really entitled too. Like I get she went through family trauma and stuff, but she just comes off to me as somebody who expects everybody to love and emulate her no matter what she does.

Everyone was upset until Randy addressed it on a podcast that the kid (12 years old) and his dad spotted him in the bathroom at an arena and kept pestering him for pictures after Randy had told the both of them he would take them outside because it was really inappropriate to ask in the bathroom. The kids dad kept telling the kid it was okay, to just take the picture anyway. Wrestlers unfortunately are easy pickings for idiots on the internet looking for the 'this person was mean to me' clout, because even though we all know it's pre-determined, wrestlers are seen as 'superheroes' for many people, and those same people post rubbish online when their interaction doesn't go a certain way.
Randy isn't innocent of douchebaggery but most of the time the fans know how to push the buttons to get a reaction to then post online. It's pathetic.

On the flip side, if that same celebrity is all dolled up and clearly embracing their celebrity status, then approaching them for a photo is fair game.
Let’s pretend for a moment that being a celebrity is like working a customer service job for a very busy & popular store. Imagine you’re at work, you’re dressed in uniform, and finally finished your 8+ hour shift. You’re tired/hungry, and looking forward to your evenings plans. However upon clocking out, you attempt to leave the store when a customer (recognizing your uniform) stops to ask you for assistance because none of your co-workers are available to help them… How do you respond?
Do you take the extra time to help them or refuse because your shift has ended?
Whatever you answer will depend greatly on the type of person you are and the mood you are in. And if that same customer had approached you just 15 minutes (or, two hours) earlier - while still “on the clock” - would your answer or, your behaviour, toward said customer be the same or different?

I was a barista some years back at a Peet's Coffee in a small town in Massachusetts where Will Ferrell wife's parents live (his in-laws) Will and his wife and kids, would usually visit around the holidays. Anyways, I got to take his order and make his drink many times through the years. He was always very polite and very unassuming. I had heard that he is not fond of giving autographs/selfies while out and about. After growing a rapport with him and his wonderful wife and kids (his wife is super friendly!!!) I gained the courage to ask for an autograph. I did it stealthily, I delivered his drink (extra dry cappuccino 2% milk) to him at his table, something we did for him instead of the normal yelling out the name of the customer to come pick it up. As I delivered his drink I quietly asked him if he wouldn't mind signing a Peet's to-go cup for me. Without hesitation he smiled and said "absolutely" I told him that I was a big fan of his (which I am) and he thanked me and then said that I was his favorite barista of all the places he orders that drink and that he always looked forward to coming to our coffee shop when in the area. Pretty cool to hear from a celeb, especially one you enjoy!
Thought I would share since you mentioned Will Ferrell in the video. I do think he gets a bit of a bad rep because people expect Step-Brothers Will Ferrell when they see him in the wild. But he really is just a humble quiet family man when away from Hollywood.

Yeah. To me, it doesn't feel right to bother them and 'rate' them based on random encounters (outside official fan meetings, when the celebrity is 'at work'). I notice that in these ratings, 10/10 is basically the celebrity acting all attentive like they are in a host club. Which I do not believe is a fair expectation.
Honestly, I wouldn't be suprised if a part of the bad encounters were just the celebrities' patience (with having to treat everyone abnormally nice all the time) running out.

My ex worked at Disneyland for over 40 years, met a LOT of famous people who he respectfully left alone.
His favorites were Bob Newhart and Don Rickles who loved mingling with guests and were always funny and "on". Surprisingly, he said Bob Saget was also very sweet and funny with fans, and even refused when given the chance to skip the line for a ride because he didn't think it was fair since he didn't have a "fast-pass".
      RIP, Bob Saget!
The ugliest was Morgan Fairchild, who got angry at him because he DIDN'T treat her like a queen, he just avoided her. She did the whole, "Don't you know who I AM??!" He simply said, "Yes, I know who you are." and continued to make the repairs he was there to do.
He said Eddie Van Halen was horrible to the staff that were there to help him during an appearance at Disneyland, and very rude to fans. That was disappointing. ☹

I always take these "celebrity" stories with a grain of salt. We never get the full story. Not saying any of these are totally true or false, but context is often missing, especially in the negative stories. So many times, we hear "Person A was so mean, they ignored me!" When really they should be saying "I followed and harassed Person A for 3.5 hours and am just grumpy that they didn't ditch their toddler's birthday party to spend all day with meeee!"
Sure, some celebrities or "influencers" you can just tell are rude, but others, maybe they were caught at a bad time, or maybe the story is being told by a disgruntled, entitled jerk who can't understand that no one, regardless of fame, owes them anything.

So...I briefly worked at a health food store in Massachusetts as a cashier/bagger. I quite frequently recognized people and we would talk and figure out where we knew each other from...one day I was bagging and this woman who looked really familiar came through the line I was taking care of...I told her that she looked insanely familiar and asked her if she was from the community that most of the people I recognized were from...she told me no and brushed me off...I didn't really think much of it until after the end of my shift...my grandfather also worked (still works) at the same store in the produce section...we were about to head back home and he was like "do you know who was in the store today?"...I told him I didn't and he tells me Jane Curtin...that's when it all falls into place and I gasp. I made a FOOL out of myself in front of JANE CURTIN!! I don't at all blame her for not being willing to out herself or anything. Also...Meryl Streep shops at the same store and, according to my grandfather, is extremely kind and courteous! My sister was the cashier at a different health food store and had Claire Danes come through her line...my sister says she's insanely rude and condescending. There's a few others that either my grandfather or my sister have come across, but I can't remember them currently.

I feel like I'm invading their personal space/life. I wouldn't be into that if I were a celebrity, but I would still be as nice as I could about it. You don't wanna piss off the wrong person lol.😅

I met Amanda Bynes back in 2007 at a mall. She was signing autographs and meeting fans to promote her short-lived clothing line DEAR at Steve and Barry’s. It was also the time “Hairspray” was coming out. She was THE most stunning human I’d ever seen in my life and my dad was with me and he says the same thing. I’ll never forget how beautiful she looked. And she said, “Hi, you have pretty eyes!” to me and I was so starstruck I never said anything back!

My son was the first in the class to get a reply- an 8x10 photo signed by Fred, as well as a card signed by the whole cast. A short time later my son was diagnosed with kidney failure and died three years later- the kindness of the Corner Gas guys, for no reason other than that he was a fan, was so uplifting to him through this very difficult time. The thing about celebrities is that people set different boundaries for them than other people.
It’s considered normal to keep tabs on celebrity gossip. To use their faces as icons. To “ship” them with other people. To know intimate details about them and their loved ones. To know where they are and what they’re doing. But if half of these things happened to a regular, everyday person, these behaviors would be considered stalkerish and creepy. When did we start believing that celebrities owed us anything outside of the services they provide?
Of course I’m not saying celebrities can’t be rude. But one bad meeting does not equate to them being a bad person. So often celebrities are harassed by entitled fans that think they are owed something. People seem to forget that celebrities are humans, too. Maybe they just need a break. Imagine what it must be like to be judged for EVERYTHING YOU EVER DO.

Hot take, I don’t blame celebs for being a-holes when ppl ask for photos when they’re not working. They’re off the clock, leave them alone. Here in NYC it’s known to not bother celebs unless it’s an event like a press junket, con, or screening. If they’re a d*ck in those situations, f them.
(Also don’t think they should be paid so much more compared to everyone else who works on projects but they’re still ppl who deserve privacy and personal space 🙃)

I once had Jennifer Mcarthy in my town doing Extreme Home Makeover, and she was walking out of a church I was walking into, we just smiled at one another and kept going. I also once passed my favorite singer from a band I was going to see, I was there mega early to get front row, and he was just out walking around the town with his wife & daughter. I couldn’t do anything but smile and he smiled back lol. That was good enough for me. It’s just so odd to me to go up to a stranger and ask for anything. I am the socially awkward one for sure 🫣😅
