Id say its more of a "creative" way as its coming from a myth but i get your point, as its a test that will give you a binary answer. (Though both of those criterias to determine if something is creative or analytical are misconceptions imo, and the test just bullshit)
Left thumb was creative side though. But its true that left handed people tend to be more creative, im right handed but had my left thumb on top.

Been studying psychology and this is just stupid
I didn’t buy it either. How does this prove anything?
@@pizzapatriot1769 Funny thing is that your brain isn't even separated like this video explains
Juuso Lautamäki, bro, the brain does have 2 hemispheres joined by corpus callosum. Also, it wouldn’t be wrong to say both hemispheres are constantly in work, and an individual with left hand dominance will show more concentrated “activity” in their right hemisphere.
And both sides of brain can perform each function. It’s just one side is better adapted to perform certain tasks.
@@mrunknown2136 I didn't mean this. I was talking about the fact that your brain isn't split to analytical and creative sides. It is true that your right side of the brain is more connected to producing words but they have nothing to do with personalities.

You can for sure be creative by being analytical.
You pay attention to details 90% of your audience will never even see or even consider. Effort pays off, and all those tiny details add up to make a masterpiece.
The same can be said for being analytical by being creative.
"Think outside the box." How are scientists able to invent new things? There has to be some degree of creativity to answer the unknown.
In reality: be who you want to be :)
"If your right thumb sit on top of your left, your more verbal and analytical"
Mate, I sit my thumbs like that because it's comfortable.
Did you know that whichever thumb feels more comfortable on top is passed down genetically? Left thumb on top feels more comfortable is the dominate trait.
@Ranjit Tyagi Don't believe any of this stuff. It's just hocus pocus. The thumbs are in no way a signifier of psychological tendencies.
@Ranjit Tyagi It doesn't signify anything other than that you received recessive alleles from your parents (meaning it is less common). It's like the difference between blue and brown eyes: one is more common than the other, but it doesn't cause any differences in the person.

Same з:
I think its more so based off if your left or right handed.
This has been disproved by psychology. There is no such thing being “left vs right brained.” In fact, the brain works as one unit - which is rather intuitive wouldnt you think
Yes, that's what he also said
However, your verbal part is on the left side and the analytical part is mostly right
@@trueblade3636 also incorrect. Different structures of the brain show specialised functions sure, but no part of the brain is 100% for one thing exclusively. It often involves a multi elemental pathway, such as how language does. Regarding the “right being mostly analytical”, that’s also false. If anything, you’d have to be “front-brained” as the frontal lobes are implicated in executive functioning, I.e. higher order thinking that allows you to be analytical, plan, set goals, etc.
This is the problem with pop psychology seen in the media, it blatantly distorts and over-interprets the research. Be cautious about these sources. A beginner course could debunk half of the bs it comes out with.
If you get a bleeding in your brain on your left side, you can't talk. And you lose the ability to use the right side of your body
If you get a bleeding in your brain on your right side, you can. . And you lose the ability to use the left side of your body
That's a valid point right? That has to count for something
@@trueblade3636 somewhat but ultimately no, it’s about the bigger picture you see. What you may be referring to is Broca’s aphasia, which results from a lesion to the left side of the brain at a specific location. This causes difficulty in language production, but it’s not impossible, and their comprehension remains intact. Conversely, due to damage at a slightly different location, Wernicke’s aphasia causes difficulty in understanding speech, but production is fine (despite often making little sense). Therefore, this shows the multi elemental pathway.
But again, there is growing research suggesting it is not just localised to these areas.
The validity of your argument relies on the evidence put forth, but you haven’t built on it enough - you’ve simply stated the proposing sentence.
