That is because you Americans are so incredibly ignorant, most of them are not aware that India and China are, geographically speaking, rather unhappy neighbors. For them it is much more vital to keep a good eye on China. On the other hand, the USA has been friendly to China in the hope they let their communism go and develop into a liberal democracy. On top, importing soybean, wheat, barley, sunflower, corn, etc at double market prices. And coal, gaz and oils at double market prices too, means a huge inflation never seen before in China. If the interest rates are kept low, then yuan will just fall down…and the whole population will lose purchase power and may not be paying back its debt. Raising interest rates strengthens yuan but close down businesses. China between the hammer and the stone…

India politicians should not slow in building India economy although they think China GDP growth has fallen because India has a very long way to go to catch up with China development. In fact Indian politicians should work ten times the speed of Chinese leaders in order win.
