How can the world avoid a debt crisis?! Get rid of your corrupt politicians. 🙏
Which is impossible
First learn to live within your means. learn to save for rainy days, control desire and do not purchase unnecessary luxury items. Finally learn to elect good politician.
Apart from that get away from USA as far as possible... It will ruin anyone who will befriend with it..

Debt is not a bug, it's a feature used by the wealthy to increase their wealth and influence developing countries.
They do it in developed countries too. It’s not possible to live life in places that are wealthy. A home or a job are impossible dreams. Yet the wealthy revolt when anything threatens their precious money.
Debt is fine but only if you have an asset to back it. Problem with third world countries is that they have no liquid assets. Countries in the West can print money which is accepted by producers. For example - the dollar, pound, euro. No one will accept the Sri Lankan rupee if their Central Bank just prints it.

The Ten Principles of the Georgia Guidestones, America's Strangest Monument
Are you familiar with the Georgia Guidestones? When someone first mentioned it to me I thought it both interesting and strange.
Located 90 miles East of Atlanta, the monument consists of a set of 10 guidelines inscribed on a stone manmade structure in eight modern languages. At the top there's also a short message inscribed in four ancient language scripts. Some people are calling it an "American Stonehenge." The slabs and capstone stand just over 19 feet tall.
The creators of this monument have chosen to remain anonymous and the man who conveyed the instructions to the Eberton Granite Finishing Company 19 miles away used a pseudonym. Obviously it cost a pretty penny to produce and install. Purportedly the group behind this had spent twenty years in planning.
The inscriptions are in the following languages:
English, Spanish, Swahili, Hindi, Hebrew, Arabic, Traditional Chinese, and Russian.
The ten commandments inscribed there are as follows:
1. Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature.
2. Guide reproduction wisely - improving fitness and diversity.
3. Unite humanity with a living new language.
4. Rule passion - faith - tradition - and all things with tempered reason.
5. Protect people and nations with fair laws and just courts.
6. Let all nations rule internally resolving external disputes in a world court.
7. Avoid petty laws and useless officials.
8. Balance personal rights with social duties.
9. Prize truth - beauty - love - seeking harmony with the infinite.
10. Be not a cancer on the Earth - Leave room for nature - Leave room for nature.
A lot of it sounds "nice" but one gets a little concerned about the first two, the first especially. I'm curious how they propose to reduce the earth's population by seven billion in order to fulfill their concept of balance with nature.
Does the second statement refer to a return to eugenicists helping create a more perfect race? Is it Brave New World inspired, as if Huxley's book were a manual, instead of a red flag?
Heres what WIRED wrote about the Guidestones:
The Georgia Guidestones may be the most enigmatic monument in the US: huge slabs of granite, inscribed with directions for rebuilding civilization after the apocalypse. Only one man knows who created them-and he's not talking.
The strangest monument in America looms over a barren knoll in northeastern Georgia. Five massive slabs of polished granite rise out of the earth in a star pattern. The rocks are each 16 feet tall, with four of them weighing more than 20 tons apiece. Together they support a 25,000-pound capstone. Approaching the edifice, it's hard not to think immediately of England's Stonehenge or possibly the ominous monolith from 2001: A Space Odyssey. Built in 1980, these pale gray rocks are quietly awaiting the end of the world as we know it.
You can find the rest of that story HERE.

I'm from Andhra Pradesh, a state mentioned by Palki Sharma in India. We are here facing the inflation due to our incompetent leaders. Only motto of our CM is to borrow the money with high interest and distribute it to the people through social welfare schemes. I agree that Welfare of the people is important but development is foremost to that. The income generated from the development should lead a state but not mere borrowing and feeding the people to make them more lazy and useless. I'm pretty sure that if it continues like this, our state would definitely become another Sri Lanka.
But still most of the people is supporting that government blindly
True. Just like the statement: Give a man fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will eat for a lifetime.
Same would have happened in Delhi if it would've been a state but as it is a union territory it gets separate budget from Central government too..

I was in Mexico in May 1986 when the oil crash caused hyperinflation. Shopkeepers had 2 prices, a morning price & evening price, that's how fast prices were going up. Another side effect of hyperinflation is shortage of necessities. Entrepreneurs stop buying because they are uncertain if they can make a profit. Frijoles of all things were sold out all across Michoacan.

When she said Argentina, home of the tango, starting on the wrong foot; I couldn't help but laugh out loud 😆

One of Astor Piazzolla’s most definitive works is ‘Adios Nonino (Farewell, Granddaddy).’ The tango was created by the Argentine composer as a way of saying goodbye to his father, who passed away in 1959.
At the time, Piazzolla was on a tour of Central America when he heard news of his father’s death due to a bicycle accident.

You are a great person and love your show thank you
Great channel! Fantastic reporter.
In Kenya, we simply got souled out by our leaders. The debt crisis now trickles down to our future generations. Very unfortunate.
Stop calling them leaders . Why does Kenya call politicians leaders? They are elected officials and civil servants.
Our authoritarian government in the US put us in debt we can never come out from under. There is no end in sight to the endless money printing that is going to put us in hyper inflation. Most of my fellow Americans are to dumb and think America could never fall.
@@GingerBreadMan76 Rightly put Sir... apparently, here in Kenya they are referred to as 'waheshimiwas' or if you wish 'leaders'. You could say its being brainwashed.
You are correct

I love this lady’s style of presenting. She goes straight in with hard facts and then asks you a hypothetical question to immerse you in the conversation. Top notch.
She’s also very coherent and easy to listen to.
She is literary pooping on every other country apart from themselves. I have also been watching her for every now and then, all I see is arrogance and hypocrisy.
As long as you are aware of her own biases.
@@j2174
... such as? @biases
@@explorer3773 She is condemning West for sanctions while partially still buying oil from Russia, yet her own country keeps buying it even more now due to getting better price because of West sanctions, which therefore basically help their country. This alone is such a hypocrisy to complain and point fingers while doing the same you condemn others about that I lost any faith in whatever she says.
She was trying to make fun of Zelenskyy for being comedian in the past as it is some kind of shame. At same time they did provide little, but still humanitarian aid to Ukraine, while pretending that nothing serious is happening, if you believe what Putin is doing is okay while at same time realizing it forced millions of civilians to flee, thousands to die , and hundreds of thousands stuck there without basic necessities and their homes destroyed, this is not what neutrality is, this is weaseling your way around for your own good while pointing fingers and pretending to be better than everyone else.
@@UntilTheRedFogRises
Who's biased now? 🤔😄
Do you know how much oil other countries (including your own) purchase from Russia, especially the countries of the European Union? What her country buys is nearly nothing in comparison. Have European countries stopped buying oil from Russia?
Which country does not look at what is best for their people? Each have different needs & requirements & they act accordingly. Isn't expecting another to behave only the way one thinks, is his/her limitation (& bias)?
While what's happening in Ukraine is not acceptable to the "heart", WASN'T IT AVOIDABLE by the countries involved (including Ukraine) & the World Leadership, through further dialogue & negotiations? If "yes", then they are also to blame for the war. If "not avoidable", why consider preventing it?
Another view on the war, contrary to what some here would like to believe, is Ukraine & its citizens have been made (?deliberately) puppets of few other countries in having an indirect war with Russia. At the cost of loss of life & property of Ukrainians, severe disturbances to life in other countries & the world order, they have an opportunity to test their weapons with no loss of life of their citizens. It is not about supporting Russia, but isn't the overall impact has been that?
Yes, I agree with you that looking at another's bias is important before accepting anything & acting on it. Isn't that "another" could be I, you & citizen of any country, too? 🤔🙂
one hell of a Reporter. I like the style, pronunciation, tone of voice and attitude. All in all 👍
Thank you for returning to Wion, we were waiting
This is by far most clear and informative report on critical world financial issues I have seen. Extremely well done.
I agree.

The 80’s had crushing interest rates . Barely was able to hold on to my home .
I had to sign an 18% mortgage back then , almost all of the payments went to interest fees . Took a very long time to whittle the principal down .
@@bdog4280 yes, but your down payment actually meant something. The high interest rates kept the prices of houses lower so your down payment had a bigger impact. That's why high interest rates encourage saving and low interest rates encourage debt.

Ms. Palki again she went all over the world. Third world countries are going through the same situation. Great report. Thank you for including lationaamerica.
Thank goodness this presenter is being calmer in her presentation style. We need to absorb the information not absorb the shock of her emotions. It's extremely important for WION to elevate to a bigger international audience by adjusting to this style.
A professional presenter doesn't emote. They don't hector or raise emotions. They are calm because they trust us to absorb the information and reach our own conclusions. This is always best done by the viewer in a calm way.
A welcome development, particularly as the content is becoming increasingly dire.
Great information 👍
Thanks for sharing. I felt like I was in an economics class. I am from Kenya.
