It's how I discovered things like the CDC lying about vaccine for kids being safe when a British newspaper reported that the clinical trial only included 3 children.

I'd love to get a bet on the arctic being ice free by 2040. Heck, they predicted a glacier in Montana would disappear by 2018 and had to remove the sign last year because it was so embarrassing. The glacier had gotten bigger than when they put up the sign.

Also a mire or less objective can be drawn depends how the content us presented. I say this as i haven't heard the provocation by the Canadian airforce in relation to China or the massive military drills held by NATO in the Baltics very near to the Russian border or US and UK ships in the Black Sea. My contention the action can't be called provocation and military drills depending on your personal beliefs and subsequently your interpretation.

Wow!! This video started after one I deliberately watched! I am blown away by this report, everything in it, and all the visuals.
Now I understand the "Artic Circle" term I have occasionally heard!! And, I had heard that Russia "has a base up in the artic", but I had NO IDEA HOW Extensive it is until seeing these video clips!! Wow!

That's a very positive spin on a catastrophe.
It's not though, what she forgot to mention was there are two chock points to get into and out of the Arctic, one that the US controls with Alaska and the other that is controlled by Canada/Denmark, both are controlled by NATO.
It's like being a contractor in the US Gulf states. Hurricanes are one mans disaster and another mans livelihood. If you own beachfront property, now is the time to sell.

One thing that has shown up in the research but is controversial is the possibility of the destabilization of the voluminous amount of frozen methane under continental shelves in shallow Arctic seas and the possibility of mass releases of this potent greenhouse gas which can create huge pulses of atmospheric heat (look at the work of the Russian scientist Shakhova and others). The concentrations of methane has been progressively increasing in the atmosphere. Planetary surface heat is already approaching extreme levels. Sounds like a trailer for the US movies “Don’t Look Up”.

This is a very real concern. Already in Siberia there are massive permafrost melts underway. The frozen methane thaws and sometimes erupts like a volcano of gas, leaving gigantic craters. There are videos of some of these, search "Siberian methane releases". In Alaska portions of the Alaskan Pipeline are shifting and needing repair/repositioning. Topping it all off is that the IPCC did not even count methane emissions in their climate modelling. We could be facing a rapid run-away cycle from all this methane.

All the Arctic powers are seeking to maximise the mineral / oil / sea routes potential of the Arctic.....but only Russia's ambitions are reprehensible ?
Imagine if the US has the largest stretch of Arctic coastline - would there even be a ( allowable ) debate ?

Even if temperature rises by 5 or 10 degrees Celsius, the Arctic ocean will always prevent ships from travelling through during winter. In the summer, ice is still everywhere in the Arctic, over 80 degrees North. The required climate change is so severe that it's not gonna happen any time soon.

If temperature increases by even 2degrees by that standard Average, globe enters into ICE age, as the glaciers melt and enter the oceans bringing down the oceanic temperature much greater depths. So the whole world suffers great loss of life.
Actually it is happening now - there are plenty of charts on the web showing the decline of ice sheet extent and thickness and the trend is for the complete disappearance of summer ice as soon as 2026 - but I am guessing later.

Sheesh... it would be pretty hard to get 5° let alone 10°. GHG concentration is a logarithmic relationship to temperature. Each time co2 concentration is doubled, only half the temperature is increased. Earth might get 2 more degrees warmer even if the CO2 is doubled twice.
