A friend of mine from mainland china use to work with Ma at a managerial level for one of the verticals. He describes Ma as the Ratan Tata of China. Very humble, and full of bright ideas. From what I hear, he wanted to build a sustainable china instead of the shit "dragon" attitude of the country. I feel sorry for Ma. I hope some country invites him over, that guy can build any empire.

I'd like to hear more about Jack Ma's efforts in sustainable agriculture. That is extremely important right now. Understanding that he may have ceded control of his past successful efforts and moved on, I wonder whether Mr. Ma's still on the cutting edge of what his people and our society needs next.
