Even "a good man" lives among others.
Unless your "good man" lives in the woods by himself, he has responsibilities and obligations to and for the society which allows him to feel 'too big'.
Without others to support his existence, where will your "good man" be?
Only children and the mentally immature will think that "spoke the truth" can place on on unshaken ground of invincibility.
"Truth" still needs APPROPRIATE time, place, circumstances to reveal itself successfully.
