ras' whole reasoning for sending them to the 50s was to have them back in high school again and having them all together in scenes and doing ~fun stuff etc. he has said a few times he was bored of the adult stories and didn't want to do the final season with 'normal' stories of archie adopting frank's son or betty being a therapist etc. so he wouldn't have sent them to the 50s to be adults because it was just a way to get them back in high school. i think he also wanted to give the characters a second chance to do things better, since it seemed like they all made mistakes the first time around out of high school, so they get a chance to do it right this time

I absolutely love Josie's voice so much in this timeline it's so soothing both singing and spoken word what a pleasure it is to have her back for one last go round 😍❤. I just wish they did a whole lot more with Josie she had such potential. Hopefully they will do a Josie and the Pusssycats spin - off do do right by her🤞🏾
In previous seasons she was getting songs out of her range (It's All Coming Back To Me Now was awful 😤) but she sounds better in this episode, i really like it

Not defending satutory rap however it is the 1950s. Sleeping with adults may be tabboo for teenage boys now but it also still happens a lot. Not saying Riverdale had to ... In my head they just watched a peep show.
