when I saw this episode: 1. when Archie's voice was yelling during his acting for his class. I stood up and clapped. this just proves KJ is a good actor. 2. when grundy came up I pointed at my screen, stood up and said "get her the fuck out of here, she's a predator. get her away from these kids and this school". 3. I knew Hiram was sketch the moment he said "I wanted to see you". 4. Plz no Varchie. 5. Hiram made Julian his bitch. thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.
I was like are they seriously bringing back Grundy after everything Archie has been through with her like Riverdale what the hell.... c'mon we don't need to re- live this memory at all or ever. It's just so messed up what the writer's did there.
They arent bringing her back, because that would mean this season would have a plot. They just randomly threw her in a scene, never to be seen again. That is literally this season in a nutshell. Random episodes, no plot, and building towards nothing.

At this point, I don't ship Archie with anyone anymore. One moment they show him having feelings for Betty, then he shares a moment with Veronica and now he's possibly developing a crush on Mrs Grundy... I can't take him seriously anymore, especially since this is the last season and he still doesn't know what he wants. A similar point could be made about Betty too. This kind of experimenting plot is not my cup of tea at all - which is why I've been enjoying Cheryl and Toni all the more. Their relationship actually feels meaningful. They've only been about each other since the first episode, I think
That's the way with everybody this season. Veronica has been into or in love with Jughead, Reggie, Betty, Archie. Betty has been Jughead, Kevin, Archie, Reggie, and Veronica. Jughead has had less only really being Veronica and Tabitha. But it feels like the writers are like, we want to do this so we can just have everybody kiss everyone. I can excuse Betty, because she's a curious teen who just wants to experience sex with someone who's important to her. But Archie and Veronica is just overkill with fanserviceness. Archie is yes supposed to be a teenage boy, so he would have fluctuating crushes, but after Halloween why would Archie share a moment with Veronica. It was basically spelled out, Betty wants to date you, but he does nothing the following episode. Instead Betty develops a connection with another character. The writers feel like their speedrunning all the possible couples that they want. We even got the Cheryl and Archie relationship that they sort of wanted back in season one. Sorry for responding to your comment with another paragraph, but I'm a person who likes to just write out their feelings and thoughts. Guess that's the writer in me.
@@turnipcrazy4602 haha no worries! I love reading long messages and it made me happy to see that I received such an interesting response from someone 😁 I agree that it's quite frustrating. One moment, the main characters appear to be getting close and intimate and in the next you're back to square one where they show interest in the next person. Quite unfortunate because I was really looking forward to the relationships-between-the-characters emphasis that was promised this season (and I felt a lack of previous one) but apart from Cheryl and Toni, and Betty's and Veronica's friendship to some extend, it all feels rather shallow to me even after the 13th episode
@@hem4617 Yeah, this show is meant to be a drama show, but the fact that the characters go back to square one the next episode makes it feel more like an hour long sitcom.

I'm like huh ??? this episode to me, flowing from last episodes.. made zero sense?? I mean the overall story lines yes makes sense but it didn't seem coherent with the last episode much, I was just ughhh the whole time lmao except KJ's acting.. that was worth watching. it's just abundantly clear to me I could not have lived in the 50's I would have been burned in that comic book pile 😂
1. I am really upset for yet another pointless Varchie Kiss and how they keep ignoring Barchie relationship. It reminds me of when they kissed when they were singing and after an episode they just ignored these characters feelings.
2. My fav character this season is by far Cheryl, how she absolutely does everything with a kind, honest heart!
3. I was happy to see Hiram back again and not Grundy 🤣 but like you said her back story is completly different, so let's hope.

Do you like Betty with Archie? We also like Veronica with Archie respect girl we can also have comfort scenes for us as Varchie shipers.
Barchie and Varchie are two couples who are both being very poorly developed this season, and as you want Barchie, I and others want Varchie, so watch and bear it.
I enjoyed your reactions for a while but honestly the barchie/varchie rants are getting old. It's fine if you feel strongly about a specific ship, but it's getting a little much. Every time archie and veronica have so much as a moment together you take it way too seriously and we get the same old speech again about how incompatible they are and that it doesn't make sense. If you feel that way than that's fine but please just reign it back a little.
