Which games and settings would you like to see me test at 1080p and 4K on this PC next? Now is you chance to let me know.
Atomic Heart, It Is visually stunning and pretty demanding tbh!
In 4k, fortnite, the LEGO version, that should use the same engine as the original game ? surely. kind of games you can play on TV, quietly.
Hogwarts legacy could be interesting in 4k.
I think with that kind of card, with 12 gb of vram, and the sheer specs, 60 fps is doable @ 4k with most games.
Some older titles, @ 4K, like Far Cry 5, 120 fps @ 4K ? 🙂
A little OC/UV of the card, in 4K, stable ?
@@jean-claudejosselin187 is LEGO version on of the game mods inside Fortnite? Just want to make sure I understand correctly. And thanks for suggesting older games. I was thinking about adding some of those myself.
@@theivadim it's a free fortnite mod. nice to chill or for children 😉
5600 cl 40 ?? that is a slow as heck ram i think !
it should be 6000 or something at 38 CL or 36 or 34 i believe , correct me if i am wrong >
Looks good! Good, quality brand name parts and excellent cable management!
🫡🙂
The work and quality of your videos are insane! Well done, really helpful and im glad i have found your channel, you helped with my decision between getting the 4070ti super or the 4080 super. I went with the 4070ti super, because here in Italy there is a 300E differece and i dont think 10-15 more fps are worth 300 euro!
Thank you for the kind words🤝🙂 I appreciate you watching my videos.
Indeed, 300 euros is a significant enough difference to warrant thinking about saving some money by going with the cheaper product if it still does what you want it to do. Are you going to play games at 1440p or 4K?
I'm going to play mostly at 1440p and with such a beast of a card, i should be good at least for 3-4 years ( hopefully!)
@@theivadim
Nice! I like 1440p. It's the perfect middle ground between the crisp 4K and blurry 1080p if we judge the image quality on a standard 27-inch screen.
I guess, you think you'll be upgrading in two GPU generations from now? I think it is the most reasonable approach.🙂👍 We should be fine for a few years in majority of games. Ultra graphics experience all the way!😀
Great video Bro..!, it´s possible to know wich components did you use for the tests?, cpu, cpu cooler, monitor? please, I´m buying that graphic card, so I need all the information possible...
Thanks! I appreciate you checking out the video. All the info is in the description as well as at 0:34 in the video.
Oh, and the monitor I use is GIGABYTE M27Q. It's a good budget-friendly option. Not high-end.
Hot spot is not very hot in this 2x ventus?
DLSS in Red Dead also has problems with shadows, especially in cinematic view it sometimes doesn't display any player/horse shadows for some frames. Definitely better to play without it.
dlss ray reconstruction on cyberpunk with path tracing also highers fps because it's lighter than other denoising techs enabled when RR is disabled, it also greatly improves reflections and general light accuracy
Yes. I've noticed that. Reflections look great. It's a shame that ghosting makes this setting absolutely unusable on this GPU at this resolution. I'm looking forward to testing it with other GPUs in the future. I hope that my theory about having higher base FPS is true and I'll see good image quality with Ray Reconstruction enabled on a more powerful GPU.
perfect video 🔥🔥
Glad you think so! I appreciate you watching my stuff.🤝🙂
look soo cleann, i hope that i can get mine soon !
This is the first time that I own a fishtank style PC case. This is the kind of build where I started appreciating RGB LED lights more.
I too hope you can get your PC and enjoy it soon🙂
Appreciate the video! Thinking about getting the 4070 Super. I've got a 4060 and in a game like Cyberpunk I can get like 80 FPS on ultra settings, DLSS quality and FG. It's definitely pushing the VRAM limits but it's playable and I can adjust the settings for higher FPS. On the other hand a game like Hogwarts Legacy I have to use high settings and turn textures down to medium otherwise the game tends to crash(in Hogsmeade).
Thank you for watching!🤝🙂 Yeah, I'm afraid we'll see more games this year that want more than 8GB of memory if you want to play using maximum or close to maximum graphics settings. The 4070 SUPER is amazing for 1440p. That's the resolution I'll continue using this GPU with for the foreseeable future. I only wish it had 16GB of memory. Would've been ideal.
I heard so many people saying this the MSI Super ventus X2 having heat issue. I think people complain too much for 70 degrees C.
There is an awesome opportuinity where i can get this card for only 540 Euros. You convinced me of buying it, can't wait to receive and try it.
Lol, 70C is not high😄 I think you are right. Some people are just unreasonable. The chip is designed to operate under much more harsh conditions than that. I have no complaints about my Ventus 2X. Have been using it for over 2 months.
What was resolution in all these game? 1080p or 2K?
1440p
sometimes i notice if i bring the graphics settings up. i gain FPS. R5 5800x with zotac 4070super twin edge
How's the temp and the noise with that gpu im planing to buy it in next week but im still not sure
@darkblood8364 it stabilizes at 75c. Never more. This in a omen 30L case. It runs perfect. I've never had any temp issues with any gpu for that matter. Even my evga 3080ti xc3 it would be stable at 80c in the same case which is acceptable.
@@darkblood8364 I can't hear any fans unless I'm bench or stress testing in game its whisper quiet.
Thank you soo much for the info
What a test ! bravo, that's some testing for sure 🙂 i can say that, in ray tracing, this card is pretty similar to an AMD 7900 xtx level. Cyberpunk 1440p with RT and fsr or Xess set to balanced, with driver frame-gen AFMF, path tracing... 90 fps. the quality of such rendering being submitted to each one of us.......😄 Really a good little card for gamers. I'd rather get this one or the 4080, and forget the 4070 ti super......Maybe a 4070 ti non super, close to a 4070 super......whatever.
If the price could get close to 600 €, we would have THE card for gamers !
(As i would rather pay a card purposed for gaming as high as 400€ max.....but this was another time period)
If only it had 16GB of memory 😩 That's the main thing it's lacking. That is one thing why 4070 Ti SUPER is pretty good. But I'd like it to be cheaper. Especially, if we are talking about 1440p gaming.
I'll test the 4070 SUPER at 4K soon. I wonder if it'll be any good at playing games at graphics settings one level below the maximum preset.
Can u switch Cyberpunk 2077 with BG3? I feel like 90% of users won't use all those gimmicks like pathtracing, etc.
I use Cyberpunk to showcase performance of slightly older games that still look great. I'm thinking about adding BG3 to the roster of games I test. I'm not 100% sure yet. My budget is very limited. So, I have to pick my games carefully.
This video is way to short!
Noted. Will make the next one longer😀
🤣🤣🤣
@@theivadim you better! :)
1:00:36 dlss doesn’t look good in rdr2. A lot of noise around hair. Definitely prefer this game at native resolution
What's your main pcs specs?
The PC you see in this video is my main. Specs at 0:34 and in the description.
@theivadim oh alright.
My Main is a i9-9900k 3090 64gb 13tb+ 5k60 4k144hz 1080p60 custom cpu vrm heatsink cover, anti sag bracket, case cover, gpu backplate cover psu cover, rgb cables, in a g-660 it's pretty fire 🔥
That's a lot of storage🙂 Very nice😀👍
@theivadim getting a 24tb hdd next xD
Will a Ryzen 5 7500F perform the same?
Nope. The i7 is more powerful. You should check out my other video where I paired this graphics card with a cheaper CPU. It'll give you a good idea of what to expect from the 7500F - czcams.com/video/uAwax7b9GYs/video.html
@@theivadim ah okay, my budget allows me to get a 7500F and a 4070 Super and im trying to do gaming and probably 3d rendering in the future
Ray reconstruction drops my GPU utilisation to 70%. When it isn’t enabled I get 100% utilisation and around the same fps as you as I have a 4070 Super as well.
Hm... I wonder why your GPU load drops by so much. It's an interesting behaviour. What CPU do you have?
@@theivadimhi mate, apparently it’s a widespread issue (Reddit and NVIDIA forums prove this) but I’ve got a Ryzen 7 5700X.
Interesting. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I'll keep this in mind. This info might come in useful when I'll do more testing with other CPUs.
This card is so goshdang efficient. I am running it with a Ryzen 5 and the whole PC barely draws 250watts while playing Helldivers at 90fps. Would be cool if it had 16gb of VRAM but otberwise love it for $600
I totally agree. 16GB of memory would've ensured a longer life for it as well as better resell value. But for now, I'm very happy with it. Especially for 1440p gaming. Do you also play at 1440p?
@theivadim I do! Not sure how I am getting 90+ fps on helldivers except that I don't really check when I'm actively playing. Might be during the loading screens etc... or might be playing on "high"... either way i am display limited to 60hz for now.
Locking the FPS to 60 will help you get a smooth experience. And save energy as well. Nothing wrong with enjoying 60FPS gaming🙂 Also, if you taste high refresh rate gaming then it'll be difficult to go back to 60😉 Were you thinking about upgrading your monitor? There's some good budget friendly 1440p IPS options available in 2024.
@theivadim I generally lock games to 90fps actually because I found at 60 it was a lot less smooth for some reason? Maybe because occasional frame drops were being displayed? But I do lock it at 90 to keep Temps and power in check. I'm actually trying to save up for an OLED - probably not for another 6 months but I really get a kick out of good black levels. I only play at night and my TV and laptop and phone are all OLED so the monitor sorta bums me out! If you have any suggestions there I'd love to hear it. Not much for competitive gaming but I'm sure once I see 120hz+ I'm going to be hooked just like you say 😀
What you feel at 90FPS is lower latency. You must be sensitive to latency. It means that it is highly likely you'll appreciate higher FPS and a high refresh rate monitor. You get lower system latency at higher FPS.
I'm super curious about OLED gaming monitors as well. I'm also looking forward to getting one at some point in the next year or so. But I haven't done proper research just yet since I don't have the money for it now. So, can't really give you any advice. Check out Monitors Unboxed channel. You should be able to find all the information you need there.
But from my limited OLED gaming monitor knowledge I found that all of them perform very silimar because these companies use panels from a few giants such as Samsung and LG. Only other features set those products apart. Such as panel cooling, software, and burn-in warranty. Some have more years of warranty.
In some games dlss is just magic and I can’t tell the difference between native and quality unless I zoom waaay in
Same. I've completely changed my opinion of it since I've had a chance to try it myself. Previously, I've seen all these comparisons from the likes of Digital Foundry and Hardware Unboxed... but the personal experience is different.
Also, what I've found is that you can't use just one GPU at one resolution to judge these technologies. Especially, when it comes to ghosting. From my experience I found that running the game at lower FPS introduces more ghosting compared to when you have a more powerful GPU and run the game at the same resolution and settings with higher FPS. It's complicated. That's why I'm so interested in testing the GPUs in the way you see me do it. I simply couldn't find this sort of analysis on any of the big channels. And it certainly doesn't show up on performance charts.
Nice gaming build but I think most CS2 players (me included) wants to see your setup on competitive settings (low settings)
Just low preset or custom settings? I did check out low preset and it looks horrible in terms of image clarity. Medium is the last preset that is usable in my opinion. But I'll look into this further. Please, aid me with any information you have and I shall deliver the content you seek. I've been thinking about focusing on competitive games and settings for my next 1080p testing of this PC.
@@theivadim There are many good cs2 fps guides out there for competitive settings (highest fps settings), the settings bellow are from a random guide I found for maximum FPS:
Main Menu Background Scenery - Personal preference
Brightness - 105%
Aspect Ratio - 4:3 for stretched resolution
Resolution - Set to your monitor's native resolution (or 930p for more fps)
Display Mode - Fullscreen
Laptop Power Savings - Disabled
Boost Player Contrast - Enabled
Wait For Vertical Sync - Disabled (Enabling causes input lag!)
Current Video Values Preset - Custom
Multisampling Anti-Aliasing Mode - None (Minor FPS gain)
Global Shadow Quality - High (Gameplay advantage at High or Very High!)
Model / Texture Quality - Low (Minor FPS gain)
Texture Filtering Mode - Bilinear (FPS gain)
Shader Detail - Low (FPS gain)
Particle Detail - Low (FPS gain)
Ambient Occlusion - High (Gameplay advantage at High!)
High Dynamic Range - Performance (Minor FPS gain)
Fidelity FX Super Resolution - Disabled (Avoid this smudgy setting!)
NVIDIA Reflex Low Latency - Enabled + Boost (Major FPS gain)
HUD Edge Positions - Personal Preference
Thanks! I appreciate the help.
@@theivadim it would be cool to see next time in your time stamp CS2 competitive settings 👌 😁
It'll be there🫡
Will rtx 5060 be way more faster than rtx 4060 should i wait?
We don't know. And I don't dare to guess because NVIDIA could decide to do anything when the time comes to segment its next gen products. Also, it could be 1 year away. If you need a graphics card now then just get the best option within your budget now and enjoy it all this time.
@@theivadim will rdna 4 and intel upcoming series bring competition on midrange end of this year?
If you think that you'll be able to get a massively cheaper current gen graphics card when the new ones launch then I don't think so. I don't expect to see any major shift in the market. AMD has demonstrated that it is not interested in entering into a price war with NVIDIA. AMD prices their products in line with NVIDIA's competing products. They're not even undercutting NVIDIA by much. Just a tiny little sliver.
Sure, new GPUs will most likely push the prices or the existing models down a little bit. But it'll be in about half a year from now at earliest. You could be having fun playing your favourite games all summer and autumn instead of saving $20-$50 or so. I guess it depends on how much value you place on such a thing.
👏👏👏

i just brought this same card coincidently i saw this video!
I hope you'll enjoy the card. I certainly do🙂 Are you getting it soon?
@@theivadim Absolutely brother, this card is amazing and totally worth it!
What do you think about this gaming PC build?
It looks nice. I ended up getting an RTX 4070 Ti Super. I still have the RX 7700 XT too but IDK what I'll do with it.
Nice one (except RGB...I'm totally not a fan)! I'm struggling (3080Ti FE owner here) with myself not to buy the 4080S FE (it's more a "want" than a "need") 😀But i will keep my will strong and wait for 50xx series.
@@theonerm2 sell everything you don't need to recoup moneys🙂 Did you already get the 4070 Ti SUPER or is it on its way? Just wondering what your experience is like with it.
@@tonac13 oh... Indeed. I know how that feels.🤝🙂 Patience sometimes can be elusive. But if you want your next GPU upgrade to also be high-end then I think it is best to wait. I expect RTX 50-series to offer some bangers. At least in terms of performance. Can't say anything about price.😅
@@theivadim I can :D it will be ridiculously high lol
when i said i5 13x00 is holding rx 7800xt down in CoD and The Finals they started to crap on me ..
I think that majority of people overestimate these CPU's capabilities. I'm certainly guilty of it as well. I expected to see a much better performance out of the i5 14400. I hope I understood correctly the topic of your comment?🙂
@@theivadim yes but that becomes more obvious with 240hz screens and GPUs like yours .. Its simple 125w Intel or X3D is a must have for these tier of GPUs and MP games like CoD., in my opinion. You must try 240 or 280hz, older 1080p models with really nice IPS panels, packed with features and high end builds can be found on sales for round 200 euros. Its not a bad idea to have one for secondary screen and mp shooters. With your rig i would be tempted to try it.
100% agree.👍
The 4070 cost basically the same when 3080 launched, at least for the 1-2 months until they went up to about 9000-1000sek(back then about 900-1000€) until the crypto mining crisis and u basically get the same perf as the 3080 for about the same price. so Ofcourse it(the system) can game at 1440p pretty well. Too bad the price to perf is standing still when it comes to gpus.
Indeed, it's a shame. Imagine if NVIDIA would've given us 50-70% performance uplift in every class of GPU?🙂 But to be fair, RTX 30-series was generous on performance because NVIDIA had a very low chip manufacturing cost on Samsung 8nm node. They couldn't keep up with set expectations when they moved to a more expensive TSMC 5nm for RTX 40-series.
Like it a first person building video😂
Better than the usual way of filming you normally see in CZcams videos, yes?🙂
@@theivadimYes!
